When I bought my Santa Fe Sport 2017, I was debating between the Tucson or Santa Fe, but went with the Sante Fe because I preferred the size and space. This Tucson feels like it's just about a similar size to my Santa Fe, also, the newer Santa Fe looks like it's about the size of the Sante Fe XL generation, so the Tucson is really in my radar now.
Very nice vehicle. I like that the dashboard is lower and more streamlined. I have been searching for a new car for a while but all the models in the past few years have such high dashboards that it is hard for me to see out. I might have to check this one out.
What is the horse power for the gasoline engine? I watch a lot of car reviews daily. Your videos are very impressive, detail oriented and to the point. Mari’s voice is unique and professional.
I like the exterior and the interior looks very modern. But I am not so sure about all the center console controls being touch screen. Trying to find the right one while driving would be quite distracting. Is there any tactile feedback?

I like your reviews….nice job! In regard to the profile lines, I wouldn’t have it any other way. I enjoy having different dimensions and angles to catch or reflect light. The placement of the character lines themselves looks well thought out and aesthetically pleasing to my eye.
Depends on what you are looking for. Personally, I like the Tucson better because it’s just a better size for me. It’s a more compact SUV comparable to the Tiguan or CRV, whereas the Santa Fe is a larger segment.
@@water2299 Well the Santa Fe has a bigger engine - 2.2l Diesel 202ps (Santa Fe) vs 2l Diesel 186ps (Tucson), but then again the Santa Fe is heavier, so it might feel different. I haven't tested the Tucson on the road yet!

Side view is too busy. Hate push button gear selector. Was impressed initially but the more I see it, the less I like the styling and user interface. The preview was informative.

I can see how some don't feel the angular design...but it's not unlike the Lamborghini Urus in some respects (at a 90% discount, wink wink). I was actually a bit turned off at first, but it has really grown on me and I really like it now. I'll probably wait for the hybrid version... Eventual goal is the Genesis GV80 though..
Thanks so much for this review, Mari. Initially I was not sure about the busy parametric panels on the side of the car, but I have grown to like them in the darker colors. So, I will be going to our local dealership tomorrow in Toronto to order a 2023 Tucson PHEV in Amazon grey (just like the one in the beginning of your video).
This beautiful and sensuous girl makes me feel so comfortable with the reviews. Tucson is 1 meter longer than the first one at the beginning of the 2000s.
Those rear turn signal lights are really low down. I wonder how well drivers behind this Tucson will see the turn indication. I don't know of any others where it is in the bumper.

When it's fully equipped, Tucson Hybrid costs 38,800,000 KRW (29,340 EUR) in S. Korea. The AWD option is not offered for the hybrid model.
