    I love this refresh!! They cleaned up the front and re arranged the infotainment system, that alone is huge win for me. Can’t wait to start seeing them in the United States!!

    Interior is beautiful and very well done. Like the new front too. Bit disappointed they didn't relocate the turn signals higher at the very least and make them LED. The Sportage has them LED in the top trim and at the top where they belong. This new Tucson is still much better than rivals, especially the interior so it's still the class leader.

    Exterior still looks kind of the same for me. But the interior is where the changes are welcomed, I love the new interior. Although, as mentioned by the presenter, the models start to look the same, I love it! Maybe it is a cost saving exercise by Hyundai to have a standard interior with their models....

    • @wolfshanze5980
      @wolfshanze5980 9 месяцев назад +2

      Gonna be honest, I expected a bigger exterior change, but as minor a change it is, is probably very telling of sales figures.
      You don't look a gift horse in the mouth.... if the current Tucson is selling like hotcakes you don't want to completely redesign your biggest seller.

    • @JT-fq2bl
      @JT-fq2bl 9 месяцев назад

      The exterior is fine, but the infotainment controls hindered its sells on the upper trims.

    Nicer then a RAV 4......At Hyundai, designers seem to always find new and improved possibilities to their existing models....and I like the fact that they do these impruvements early on and not wait years and years.

    Have had 6 Hyundais over the last 5 years, (myself 2, for business, my wife 3, one totaled, one traded, one for business and my daughters. Love them all even after upgrading to a nicer ones. I am preparing to trade my 22 Palisade because I no longer need a larger SUV, want a hybrid like my wife's Sonata. Was looking to buy a 24 Tuscon N line hybrid but after watching this I may wait for the 2025's.

  • @wolfzilla21
    @wolfzilla21 9 месяцев назад +7

    I was looking to buy a Hyundai Tucson, but I saw the previous model Infotainment system and I automatically said no.
    Now that they fixed the Infotainment, with more PHYSICAL BUTTONS, it is much better. The front fascia is a slight improvement and the hybrid still gets great gas mileage.
    Finally, they are using the electronic shift lever for Park, Reverse, Drive, and Neutral, which is excellent.
    I just need to play around with the "touch" buttons and see if they are usable and get a feel for the DCT transmission to see if that is satisfactory.
    Looking forward to it.

    • @jraheemjefcoat429
      @jraheemjefcoat429 9 месяцев назад +2

      I really don’t get the fuss about physical buttons when EVs vehicles like Tesla, don’t even have buttons and people still buys them. Probably a generation thing. Many Millennials and Gen Z buyers will not have a problem with it.

      @jraheemjefcoat429 Having a 22 Limited Edition I can tell you that the Voice Command feature can do everything from setting cabin temperature, tuning the radio, cakling or texting someone from your cell. In addition, radio controls are on the steering wheel. Buttons are overrated.

  • @wolfshanze5980
    @wolfshanze5980 9 месяцев назад +9

    As an owner of the 2023 Tucson Hybrid I think this is a smart design.
    After seeing what happened to the Kona, Sonata & Santa Fe, I really thought Hyundai was going to make the new Tucson more blocky with a light bar LED across the nose.
    I'm glad it's just a mild change from the current Tucson instead of a complete redesign. It still has "the look" of the current Tucson, but is different nonetheless. The redesign on the interior is perfect.
    I would be all over the 2025 Tucson if I didn't already have the 2023 Tucson... it looks like the perfect follow-up for the current Tucson.

    Thanks Mari for the honest review, I have driven this 25 model and will pick mine up here in Northern Ireland at the start of July 24. It is a great car to drive with enough acceleration (230 bhp in the 1.6 turbo hybrid) and handling is also superb. I was previously a big Ford driver and have a Kuga 2.5 PHEV having previously owned ST Focus's and Mondeo's. This new Hyundai was a joy to drive and as I am now in my mid 60's is just the car I need, I ain't no boy racer anymore but it does have a good bit of lift considering the weight. My recommendation is folk, take a test drive can't do any harm and that interior layout in my opinion is a great improvement as my wife has an earlier model Tuson and seeing this is changing also to the 25 N version, just my opinion as we all have different tastes and requirements, happy and safe motoring to you all....Alan

Wish the cup holders were better sized for larger cups. Love the blue link app !!! The only change I would like to see is when you climate start if car isn't locked it fails. I think it should automatically lock doors and start. Wish they would make palisade a hybrid. Loved mine. Would get another one if they did. Love the new santa fe !!! About time !!!

    I hope they've fixed the headlights. I've driven the pre-facelift with LED headlights and they're awful. Also, the 187 HP Gas Engine is really under powered, the NLine should come with at least a 250 HP Gas Engine, and for better handling: Wider Tires 60x19". This is suppose to be the performance version - right?

    I like the panoramic sunroof, but absolutely do not like a dark and black or depression gray interior. I want light or earth tone interior and a light headliner.
    I also noticed no the glove box wasn't lined. That mean anything you put in t hem will be constantly rattling around as you drive. In addition, I don't like cars with open cup holders with no cover so that lint and dust collects inside when not in use.
    Anyway , the grill is a little too busy, and so are the too many creases and folds in the door and fenders. It too much for me. I'd erase 50% of everything.

  • @GeorgeZabe

    Pity they still don't have a spare tire in the hybrid. The Sportage hybrid manages to fit one under the floor. Not even available as an option on the 2024.

    • @dishrich
      @dishrich 7 месяцев назад

      You CAN get an aftermarket spare tire/jack & it WILL fit under the floor just like the Sportage. I have a friend that did this very thing on his 2024 Tuscon; the cheap styrofoam divider block pops right out in 1 piece & allows his spare to fit just fine. He just kept the divider in his garage so it can be put back in if/when the next owner wants it.
      And DEFINITELY count me in on someone that is very happy on the climate/infotainment redesign; some of us have a really hard time with touch controls (on pretty much anything) due to issues with our fingertips/skin, so this is welcome news - particularly since I was VERY close to pulling the trigger on a 2024. I can easily wait a few months for the (better) design.

    “They didn’t change to drastically” you say!?… They dramatically changed the best feature which was the dash/screen integration!! No other car no matter the make or price came close…
    This is Disappointing!! I’d hoped after nailing it with the perfect dash/screen integration Hyundai would keep it!
    I’ve purchased the new Hyundai Tucson because the dash/screen integration is the best I’ve seen in a modern car…, way ahead of its competitors which have a clumsy screen stuck on top of dash!
    This new design reverts backwards, the new dash is so bad it looks tacky and cheap!! If Hyundai continue this look, I’ll be changing to a different car next year! The bubble effect was bad enough but this dash is terrible! After all we sit in it!!
    However, the plus is the cam recording facility, sadly the dash is so dated!!

    Why do the displays always stick out and are not installed smoothly? It looks so cheap and unimaginative when a huge tablet is screwed to the dashboard.
    The old steering wheel looked better. In general, this interior design looks unimaginatively simple and cheap.
    The current Kia Sportage looks a lot better.
    I hope that this annoying and dangerous lane assistant has been improved, which very often does not recognize the road, then finds it again and tugs on the steering wheel when overtaking or cornering. this is irritating and dangerous. I speak from my own experience. Why the Hyundai Tuscson 2023 Go doesn't have a navigation system or an automatically dimming rearview mirror compared to its predecessor remains a mystery to me. very disappointing and misguided. I have 2 Hyundai Tuscson.
    the 2023 is a bitter disappointment.

    What 2025 lo, it is 2023!

    Don't like the interior on the 2025 model, as it is too plain and ordinary, the previous model of 2023-2024 to me is a lot more likeable, and what about the Nline, even your steering wheel set up is so ugly, you will lose on this particular year model, if you change make things for the better and not the worse, your previous Nline model was so much better. As the 1.6 ltr DCT. For instance fancy having the gear lever in the steering column, its definately this 2025 model is not my cup of tea.
    So sorry but to me personally your sales for this particular model will not sell as good as the 2023-2024 model Tucson, and to me also the style seats that they have in the Nline 2025 as well as the centre consul rear showing just above the the two USB ports on where that you have the up and down buttons that show the temperature of the up and down buttons of which that i think are to adjust the temperature settings for the rear passengers within the vehicle and especially the side of the Nline seats of where that you can move the seat forwards or backwards or to be able to adjust the height or to move the back rest of the front seats backwards or forwards is a brilliant concept indeed.
    And also the 2025 front seats would look very nice within the vehicle of the actual current model within the 2024 Tucson NLine, but for me the interior of the 2025 NLine is not as, as outstanding as the 2023-2024 NLine tucson, because to me personally i would much prefer the 2023-2024 NLine, along with the 1.6 Ltr DCT Turbo engine, a very nice style of a automobile indeed, you can not improve on perfectionism on how that the 2023-2024 model NLine stands out in any given crowd, and please do not wreck its image for gods sake. From NSW,Australia 🙏😇🙏✨🌟💫🌈🇦🇺❤️, and also for me personally the headsup display is a brilliant and magnificant idea, and it should be across the board for all Tucson models, for safety reasons.

    Very bad version, such a shame, the 2021-24 version is the best, and the best-selling, the 2021-24 version's exterior and interior look like and are inspired by the Lamborghini Urus, so setback to the 2021-24 version!

    The dashboard design is very poor, especially the storage places in front of the second seat on the driver's side

    2025 exterior same as my 2023 , I see no real change and interior although different not necessarily better, all and all nothing to be excited about.

    Very very bad interior design comparing to the previous generation

      I prefer the current interior design as well. This one is too generic and is lacking character. I do like the placement of the wireless charger though and having more free space in the console area.
