I can confirm this as I got around 6.5l/100km with the 19inch rims on EU version.

I thought the same when the sonata 2011 model came like when I'm old enough to afford one it will still look gorgeous and that holds true even now.

Too many touch screen buttons, still prefer physical buttons, just owned my 2019 Tucson 1.6T. Damn good car. Of course this 2021 version is another level. Great review, Charlie.....
hate this trend, but it's looking like it will stay this way. just look at the new S class. Tesla ruined it for all.
You are a bit wrong. Touch screen buttons = buttons you tap on a screen, while these ones are actual tactile buttons outside of a screen. Like telephones had before adding everything inside the screen. And yes, touch screen buttons are a pain, but these ones are somewhat between the physical and touch screen ones, so they might be better, but we need to see them first.

I have a 2017 Hyundai Tucson. I went with the Tucson because I wanted AWD. It has been one of the biggest mistakes. The first was getting a Hyundai. They don’t care about their consumers. My car has been blowing headlights- having electrical issues (my auto windows go back down when you roll them up, my rear windshield wipers go off whenever they want, my break light seems to go on and off at random. I have reached out because as a company they should only want the best products out there. I was told that “because my car is over 3 years old. There is nothing they can do for me. To bring it to a dealer and “see what I can get” for it. I owe more than it’s worth because one thing they don’t tell you when you buy a Hyundai is they depreciate way faster than you can make payments to survive. DO NOT BUY A HYUNDAI.

I like this design a lot, especially the DRL and that "waterfall" styled middle console.
I only hope, Hyundai won't go to crazy with the future design like Lexus. And it's a bummer, that the rearward and turning signals aren't LEDs and also too low positioned.
I love how willing Hyundai is to take risks in their design. In my opinion, it certainly paid off!

With the new uncovered gauge display you don't really feel the lack of head up display. I own one of these as of 1 week now and it works and looks amazing.

We used to think because Japanese and German cars are so expensive, Korean cars are the best alternative, and with their products getting innovative and so luxurious, it's not the same, so as middle lower class individuals we don't have much options now, I m from Sri Lanka.

The fact it has an torque converter transmission will give this an advantage in Australia. We don’t like CVT. But i think the one in the Rav4 is not bad.

Yeah Hyundai and Kia have been pretty reluctant to bring out their many hybrids! Glad they've brought out two EVs but I'll never buy that at the moment given the trips we make (Wollongong to Byron and back in the holidays) - PHEV would be ideal.

I agree, same with reversing lights.. surely they could’ve incorporated it in the brake lights as scrolling indicators or some sort
I don't think they are lower than on current Kia Sportage and I don't recall anyone having trouble with them in particular. I mean, you should be at a fair distance from the car in front of you, if you don't see the turn signals working on this car, you are probably too close of it and you might have an accident.

Last night I saw a Tucson 2021 in my city (( Mashhad , Iran )) . It was very beautiful.
This hybrid and engine powertrain combination is perfect for this segment. The interior design is different and welcomed... too many cars look the range, the angular exterior contrasted with the restrained interior design is solid. It will sell well in Canada 🇨🇦 for sure. 👍... I hope the n-line makes it to the Canadian market.

I think that Hyundai/Kia/Genesis is doing a spectacular job with their design decisions. I still love my '13 Veloster Turbo, and for the most part I think their cars have just been getting better. I don't need a full-size SUV, but the Telluride and the Pallisade are absolutely striking.
8:30 That part looks dumb. They hid the windshield wiper which is great, but then instead of making the glass normal they still put a really obvious cutout for the windshield wiper, like hiding it is an afterthought.

Wonder why they moved the infotainment screen so low?
Probably because some cunts complained about the old one sticking out so much, look tacked on, or like an afterthought. So Hyundai decided to integrate it into the dash.
If they decide to keep it so high, better just leave port for some iPad air. Not a fan of this "Planshet on the desk" look that everyone and their grandma was going for in 2019
By year refreshment or on comming higher trim(ex. N series, electric) a much bigger vertical display could replace that 10. screen.

This is their "economy" CUV. You're not going to get their highest tech and luxury features you would find in the upcoming Genesis GV70 and even then it would be in the higher trims...
