Aahhhhh yesss, I just finished cooking breakfast and good old Charlie uploaded this gem. Thanks a ton pal, gonna smash this omelette while watching this crimson red beauty 🚗
We hope you going strong and you are well, Charlie! Yes, it is a stunner to look at, day or night...and for you to know: The Tucson is very popular also Down Under. It may take a while to see this very model in Australia and it might be same-same when it comes to technical upgrade parts - what one chooses to buy in the first place has to stick to it as equipped. At least in Oz it seem to be that way, some aftermarket rim changes are possible, but not much else! Other car importers actually see there is money to make when offering upgrade parts, like turbo kits / suspension options / skirts / trims / halogen to LED change over kits / key-start change kits to push button start and so on and put a proper good to use GPS in all cars for the Oz market as have to have Internet on all the time to run Google Maps is not everywhere possible (connectivity not everywhere available ) and the providers charge quite a lot for having this future on all the time. It is nice to get an on the drive update of road conditions, especially now with heavy rain up north and flash floods / bad road conditions / detours to be advised before actually standing in a cue waiting and not knowing why. We use a GPS that is equipped with important condition for truck drivers and this one even is telling us about uprooted trees, flash floods, closures or if we drive towards a possible hail-storm situation to wait or look for bypassing such situations. and this info comes via satelite not via internet. Since we in Oz drive often big distances fuel consumptions matter, so please let us also know how dursty the models could be. Our petrol prices change often faster as the weather, the further one is away from the coastal fringe the more expensive driving a car becomes!
12:46 Sorry, not quite familiar with these modern cars, but what is the difference between parking and electric parking ? And what does the auto hold button do ?
electric parking just means electrically locking emergency brakes. Auto hold holds your brakes on your stop lights. Thank you shan19key for watching our Hyundai Tucson review. And please do support us by subscribing. Thank you.
Love your reviews Charlie. Very honest. Am also missing a blue. The teal is boring. Here in Belgium no creamson red but engine red (too bright) and sunset red. Pity the side skirts are not shiny black or aluminium but dull grey. Less noticeable with black and amazon but i like the red
This new Tucson is very nice! I'd buy the diesel or the hybrid, as both have better power and efficiency than this 1.6T. This red with warm grey leather interior is great too, or maybe the grey with chocolate brown interior. Thanks Charlie!
crimson red exterior and black interior for me. and i love the rear lamp design, looks like double fang to me which is awesome. and also the front DRL design is really unique and eye catching. i don't mind a bit of plastic interior but black piano glossy material is the worse for me.
hey there!!! great videos thank you.... real life consumption for 48v and full hybrid??? Which one you think is better for a big car that will be used basically for big trips???
Hi, from the video the lights are not that great, i didn`t see a difference between low beam and high beam when you started driving. Is that only because of the video and they are actually ok?
Yes, andrei. Well, this all new Hyundai Tucson uses MFR (Multi Focusing Reflector), so it's not as bright as projection type. But it's quite nice system. And please do support us by subscribing. Thank you.
On the U.S. configurator they show this 2022 model having an "Intense Blue" color option. Not the same "Aqua Blue" it had before but still a bold blue. I think the Ionic hatch comes in the "Intense Blue" color here in the states too.
I don’t like seperate indicators which is too low for eye level. It should be integrate with brake lights like common cars . But can’t wait it arrives Australia 🇦🇺

Hi Charlie! It's hard to tell from the video, but how are the headlights while driving? Granted, the U.S. lights are probably different, but do they perform well? Also, I hate that the U.S. models will have the amber reflectors at the front, which ruins the design, but hopefully can change those out after purchase. Also, wish Hyundai would offer at least a beige or brown interior option and more exterior colors. Thanks for these reviews!
I've heard the Dynaudio option in the Arteon. It sounds at least as good as this Bose system, though it's not even close to the Lexicon system you find in some HMG cars.
Hi Charlie. Your style is refreshing and reviews honest. Keep up the good work. Maybe some videos of unusual Korea specific vehicles. My comment is about the rear turn signals and reversing lights. It seems silly to put the reversing lights and especially the turn signals at the bottom. Maybe in Korea, it’s OK but in other countries where people tailgate, the following driver will get upset if you are waiting to turn and they don’t see your signal. The designers have so many lights at the back to play around with, they could have been really creative . They could have used the extreme ends of that lighting strip for the turn signals, the middle 4 LEDs for the brake light and maybe a couple for the reversing rising lights. Drivers look ahead at the car in front and not down. Imagine if the driver behind is in a large 4WD. Also, at that position, the turn signals and reversing light is most liable to get damaged. I never understand why designers put reflectors or lights in that spot. It’s one thing to have a good design but it needs to be practical. What were they thinking?
Yes, Sow. I 100% agree with you. This all new Hyundai Tucson looks great and drives nicely. But i just wish the rear turn signal and back up lamp was integrated with the taillamp. Thank you Sow Son.
Don't change a thing about your car reviews! (day or night). I think the back taillights design looks premium,. Not to crazy about the back turning signal lights @ the bottom, i think it could be a safety issue when it comes down to bumper to bumper traffic, be hard to see if the vehicle is turning (especially if you have a 18 wheeler in back of you) .

To be honest, with 5 people in the 230 HP Hybrid does really well, the power is plenty enough for this size. Probably the 280 HP will be nice, but the fuel consumption for extra 50HP, the taxes for 2.5L motor and the price of the car will be a big downside for family style driving. @@JasonSmith-vp6vl Thank you for your answer, it scared me a little. I ordered the hybrid version after getting advice similar to yours: regular maintenance, good quality synthetic oil and gasoline. Hey, at 10:04 you said that you cannot change the cluster gauge color without changing the mode, but you actually can from the options. At least I can on EU model. The only downside is that it will remain fixed on the one you chose if you do that, no matter in what mode you are if I remember well. I can give you the steps if anyone is interested. I kept mine on "depending on mode" cause it's more fancy, but I'm starting to like the white ones from normal more than the one on Eco and I might change them to white, even though I do not have the mode I have it in options. The EU version has only 2 modes, Eco and Sport, while on others I've seen they include Normal mode also with the white gauge.
At a time when more and more people are buying crossovers, especially in the U.S., and their driving view is higher off the ground, why put the turning signals at the bottom of the rear end? Who gives a crap if it looks more premium - I’d rather it be more practical and reduce the chance that someone won’t see it than make it look premium. They’ve been doing the same thing with the Santa Fe that we are looking into buying and it’s really annoying.

@@JasonSmith-vp6vl Thank you for your answer, it scared me a little.
I ordered the hybrid version after getting advice similar to yours: regular maintenance, good quality synthetic oil and gasoline.
Maintenance is scheduled every 15,000 km (9.5K miles) in my region (France), I will certainly do it a little earlier.
Hi, here in Europe (Italy) there is also a blue colour metalized, i have order that colour
Pity there is no double exhaust. Even a fake wirh aluminium. That would make it cooler
Hi Robin. I think they are saving the dual exhaust for the all new Hyundai Tucson "N".
When does it catch fire?
Hopefully it doesn't.
Awesome
At a time when more and more people are buying crossovers, especially in the U.S., and their driving view is higher off the ground, why put the turning signals at the bottom of the rear end? Who gives a crap if it looks more premium - I’d rather it be more practical and reduce the chance that someone won’t see it than make it look premium. They’ve been doing the same thing with the Santa Fe that we are looking into buying and it’s really annoying.
That is very good point. Thank you Josiah for sharing your thoughts about the all new Hyundai Tucson. And please do support us by subscribing. Thank you.
This car is very Germanic, more German than ever. Very nice. Great work as always.
Thanks Byron for watching our Hyundai Tucson review.
Those separated rear lights unfortunately don't look good - neither "premium".
As in turn lights down low in bumper ? Should be integrated in above taillight assembly. Would improve look & safety aspects.
What is thr MSRP and what trim level?
I’ve been trying to find out myself I’m a part of the Hyundai concierge, and they told me the vehicle is going to be out in America around April or March 😭.
@@jaedevrick same as the new Genesis models. I’m very anxious 😅
@@jaedevrick Of course, the Korean models and prices won't be quite the same as the US. We usually get different features and options than the US market.
Merhaba ne zaman Türkiye ye gelecek
Nice
Thank you!
I came for the reviews and stayed for Charlie 🤣
Thank you Mathew for watching our Hyundai Tucson review!
Charlie is a legend. My grandfather Reginald fought in Vietnam and said they could never find Charlie, just traps and tunnels he dug. They left feeling defeated.
@@BoopSnoot LOL!

Every brand that did so capacitive buttons (Ford, Volvo, Honda) gets so much hate. Honestly, are people complaining about functional buttons and knobs?
Yes, i love physical buttons and dials. Thanks for watching our Hyundai Tucson review. And please do support us by subscribing. Thank you.

Thanks for watching our Hyundai Tucson night drive!
Please, give us the information in cm not in inch.
Both versions would be great!
No I don’t like my turn signals at the rear bottom bumper it looks tacky
Turn signal in rear needs to be higher for driver attention.
Was anyone else listening to what music was on the Korean radio?
New ganrtion model is so beautiful disgin
Huh?
