The real crime is veterans aren't looked after by our government. Men like this need more support when they leave the forces. Some scars aren't visible. ❤
I'll add ANY government, during the Blair years he issued an instruction to reduce War Pensions by 40%, I fought it and won, but makes me wonder how many veterans took it on the chin
Those ieds were so deadly it's just sickening and heartbreaking how many men suffered horrific life changing injuries because of them . But the men who survived them are the toughest men on the planet. There will to live and lead a full life should be an inspiration to every able-bodied person. Nothing but respect for these men ❤❤❤
Mr are in this honorable group of the #Elite ⭐who unconditionally love their country and countrymen... Mr have unconditionally sacrificed Mr courage, wisdom and strength... Great respect 🕊️ BOWS 🪖 Respect from 🇵🇱
He's got that look, he'd give you anything to help you, and he'd absolutely have no problem feeding you your heart if you deserved it. Top notch indeed.
What an eloquent ambassador Scott is! Am more than happy to put in my tenner a month if it helps guys like this one. It's an odd one though, as of course am hoping for a Jackpot too 😂
Absolute tip top laddie, stoic and proud and not one bit of wallowing in self pitty or bitterness, true definition of the, 'keep calm and carry on as normal', island spirit...that the two sister isles and the rest of the surrounding wee uns share...
I was lucky enough to be in the same training platoon as Private martin Bell, ( Breville platoon ). He was a great recruit and from memory he went on to win best shot. I suffered an injury just before P-company which later led to my discharge. I recall the day i seen Martins face on bbc news and It was a feeling i will never forget. these men are true warriors. I wish Scott the best in the future
I can totally relate to what he said, often times we make peace with the potential outcomes of our choices but are loved ones don’t. And the thought of it happening to you scares you not because of what it would do to you, but what it would do to your family.
Scott, you keep on going with your best. In Heaven, you will get your real legs back permanently. Blessing and prayer... Thanks for your service.... In Christ.
We were fighting with both hands tied behind our backs because you can bet those IED's were set off by one of the spectators yet we weren't allowed to shoot them, complete insanity!
I served in a Ranger Battalion in the U.S. Army and had the chance to train with and go to war with troops from the French Foreign Legion to the Royal Thai Rangers and a lot in between. The best warriors, the best at their weapons, and the best all around guys you want on your side in a street fight, are the Paras of the United Kingdom. They would punch out a Yank for a smart-ass comment then pick him up off the floor and buy him a beer (don't ask me how I know that).
Sir, I am a proud American too. I want to personally thank you for your service to our country! I salute you for your courage, bravery, and the honor you represent!! THANK YOU!! 🫡🇺🇸
I have the utmost respect for this man . Unfortunately I dont believe large elements of British Society as it is presently and the British political establishment are worthy of this mans sacrifice. It breaks my heart to believe that the real battle lines have been drawn out on home soil in recent years and patriotic British people that wish to maintain civilization on this Island will be forced against their will to focus their attention nearer to home in places like Rotherham and Rochdale.
I do not mean any disrespect when I say this, I just don't get it, but the army turns you into the ultimate killing machine, they are happy with you when your able to fulfil your job role but when something like this happens you thrown on the scrap heap because your broken and lost your purpose , how can this be allowed, to these guys , the armed forces is their family. Every day they get told what to do where to do it and when to do it. I suffer from extreme depression and anxiety severe night terrors and extreme ptsd with suicidal tendencies which is a result of a work injury that's left me terminally sick, I get mental health and the negative it brings. These guys like all these hero's who've seen war, needs this family more than ever, the last thing they need is to feel they've failed and let everyone down
Imagine, Ahmet is telling us how he got bombed during patroulling in Washington DC, after Afghans invaded US. Sorry, but in first place you were in wrong place.
Madness if this guy stayed in his own country and never sat on a plane for 10 hours to travel to a country thousands of miles away to destroy family's he'd still have his legs tough luck bud😊
@Wood1511 should be ashamed of what saying to a British army terrorist to not invade someone else's country for oil and money u should be ashamed for supporting the imperialist actions of that British terrorist
That's one of the most vivid descriptions of an IED blast I've heard; hats off to Scott Meenagh, a thriving survivor of that conflict
❤❤❤❤❤❤
What a warrior this man is, unbelievable spirit.
Exactly, every amputee I've met from Afghanistan, which isn't a lot, is an absolute stud. Mentally and physically. Cheers

The Government don’t care about us veterans.
Maybe they shouldn't travel thousands of miles to kill kids and say there fighting for our country that's a better idea IMO
Used and thrown away by the lovely politicians
Amen to that 👍❤
I'll add ANY government, during the Blair years he issued an instruction to reduce War Pensions by 40%, I fought it and won, but makes me wonder how many veterans took it on the chin
God Bless the Brits.... top shelf soldiers 🇬🇧... signed a Canadian Afghan Vet 🇨🇦
