An impressive watch. I just wish( like you do) it was tough solar and triple sensor like my Rangeman (GW 9400-1), but I’m an analog/digital kind of guy so it’s on my distant wish list.
I just got this watch, I really like it, but I have to agree, not having a solar rechargable battery is a big let down. I kinda ordered it by accident, so I might return it. I have owned a tough solar g-shckn for 16 years, never changed the battery, I like it so much I have found it very difficult to justify buying any other watch in all these years. Unfortunately I broke the watch case where the spring bars are mounted, and I cannot find that part anywhere.
Your seconds are off. To fix this, hold down the adjustment button for 5 seconds; it will beep once for the initial adjustment, but keep holding. It will beep again after 5 seconds. In this mode you can line up the hands and make the seconds hand match the digital seconds. 👍🏻
I love the colour scheme. It would be nice if they made this triple sensor and tough solar, but I’ll still get this one. Price tag is a little more approachable. I’d rather beat up $500 instead of $1000.
WAIT!!!!! The new MUDMAN is out, it's on the channel, go check it out. I bought it in NYC cause it wasn't anywhere here in Canada. LOVE IT. Thanks for watching.Cheers
I have the same identical watch. I purchased it a couple years ago I love these type of watches. I have all sorts of watches. This watch here is a very durable watch. It's a very dependable watch I can't say. Enough, good things about it. I know there's watches out there that are better in some cases. Depending on what your needs are, but this watch here is an excellent watch and the biggest drawback to some people would be the size of it. 50 mm, it's an excellent watch. I'm a 6 foot 5 guy and um. I think I'm pretty a medium built individual, so it doesn't bother me. As far as the size of the watch, it's an excellent watch Love it. I do everything as far as I go swimming with the watch working to watch playing the watch. I don't have to worry about damaging. The watch really, really awesome. Watch great video.
I hear a lot of people complain about the battery. I changed the battery when I first got to watch and I've had to watch for I guess 3 going on 4 years never had a problem with the battery. I made a comment earlier but the battery is not an issue. I had it sent out and the type of person. I am I like to make sure everything is up to par? So I had to battery change when I first got it like 2 weeks and I've had it for like 3 going on. 4 years never had a problem with the battery, I mean. Let's think about it. I mean, I'm a solar guy. I have solar generators and things like that in my house. But I really don't think the battery lasts. I think up to 5 years or maybe longer so. I really don't see any issue
They are a really impressive looking watch but on mine the compass and temp gauges are redundant. Zero accuracy. More a novelty really. Minus those and it's a pretty big standard ana/Digi watch using decades old technology. Coupled with very short battery life and expensive replacement process that not all dealers want to undertake and it's a tough one to justify the cost. Best to save for it's solar triple sensor big brother the gwg1000
That one fat tank. It's first g shock since i was also a fat lad. Its true. If you have not soo thic bones. It's really uncomfortable watch..i kept it on display... But still looks f@cking beautiful! All jokes aside. Its useful watch when it comes to outdoor.
I have this same watch. I've had it for about 2 years. I absolutely love this one.
I just bought this from a thrift shop for $10 absolute steal looks brand new
The compass actually very helpful. Just make sure to calibrate a twice a year.
Is the LED broght enough to read the digital display?

Informative and enthusiastic review. Thank you sir, this has helped me make my choice.

What is better, white display or black display. I guess white one will consume more battery.

I was wondering what was going with the seconds hand ticking backwards or holding...
Do you know how to fix the compass on it? Mine just stays pointing west.
我是台灣觀眾,感謝您😂

What about the battery?
Drain ao fast if we use the sensor often
Thanks Ross, I'm in between this and the rangeman.

With solar would’ve been a 10. I’ll give it at 8.5 nice review by the way.
cheers, thanks for watching
