First here . $650 millions investment by African that living proof we can do it , Africa is not poor. We just need to change the mind set and we will be greater again.
Africa isn't poor but those who are rich don't invest their money in things that will uplift the majority. E.g. Billionaires in the US donated money to build libraries, railways, universities etc across the country. You hardly saw African millionaires or rich people doing that in the 80s and 90s. Governments alone cannot develop a country. We need to invest not only in hotels, clubs and houses but in schools, drains, roads, railways etc.

If a corrupt Business man or politician does not have money hoarding in a personal bank account or in a Foreign Bank! and the money is invested or circulating in their community, putting money in peoples hands, I cant be mad.
@ሚከኤል AGAZIAN From what I understand in the video... the golf resort is just a portion of the project... The project is also residential....Moreover, instead of keeping the money stolen in Switzerland (which the country by the way reinvest to make more money...)...or buying houses in Dubai, UK, USA etc...if corrupt Africans leaders can develop projects like this one...or build factories etc...it would be much better...African countries would develop spite of the corruption...!..
We do have the potential of changing African to be what we want. Such stories do inspire us to come back home and invest there. East west home is best always
That place is massive! One thing I would suggest, and to similar places all over Africa, is the grass manitenance. There are a lot of dead brown patches on the grass. It is usually caused by damaged soil and lack of water. If that can be sorted out, would be a thing of beauty, especially from a bird's eye view.
You are right. I also think the reason may be a lot of water is required to keep the courses green and most of these in Africa depend a lot on rain water due to cost. They just need to find a way to harvest the rain water and utilize it all year round to water the courses.

I understand and appreciate what you're trying to say, but just like we need to set up the manufacturing base to create jobs for the the many so they can establish a future for themselves on the continent and not feeling the need to go abroad, we also need to make Africa welcoming for the few who have financial resources so they can come back to build those industries that will employ the many. I congratulate you Maya, you went to something inspirational; unique big projects in Africa owned by locals who did not get fortune from western countries, sometimes without so many degrees. Very inspirational for locals who think it is not possible.

Rich people spend their 'free' time aiming at that small hole
Lol
Hahahahah
That small hole has actually brought together business deals..Golf courses are not for pleasure alone, those guys make deals on those grounds
Poor people spend their time aiming at that 'other' small hole...if you know what I mean :)
@@ericmosioma6319 lol!
Africa in general needs industries and not golf estates that will cater to only a small group of people.
Nora, you don't see that this place is also employing people? We can't make a jungle of industries, which Kenya has too. Can you build one too.
In a nutshell, Africa needs everything from all of his children.
Kenya is a hot tourist destination if you don't know, this kind of development is better than those countries which have nothing and results to sex tourism
Can do both. They aren't mutually exclusive 😀

This is beautiful. Yes Africans as well as the black race need to think highly of themselves. Once they believe in themselves then amazing things like this will happen. Imagine if we all come together like these partners did. We will rule the world. This is just breathtaking ❤
