Their story teaches me that...As Africans, we don't have to fly to USA, Canada, Europe etc ..to succeed in life. With Focus, Determination & Hard work, We too can succeed beyond imagination right here in mother Africa.
Thats true but only for a few. This success story is not achievable for everyone. Kenyan economy still somehow depends on diaspora remittance. I know so many people who have focus, determination and work hard and are still poor. I was one of them for years. Diaspora has its own place for Kenyans and those who can travel should still be encouraged to do it.
@@susankariuki449 life is just expensive period but diaspora has many more opportunities. For example I have friends and family in Kenya who have been trying to get jobs for years there. Here even high school kids have part time jobs. In Kenya things are overpriced compared to the income of the common people. Land within an hour of Nairobi will cost you millions per acre. Here it's much cheaper than Kenya. I love watching most of these stories of success and they do show the opportunities there but it's not for everyone and most of these people start life somewhere else then come back with cash. For example if I came back I would most likely have a success story with capital and experience. My point is don't discourage people from going to the diaspora if they can.

Sharing their life stories was great. Listen to how the man didnt give up but suspended his uni education, came and worked to raise money and later went back to complete his schooling. He started from somewhere but with humility, hardwork and consistency they both made it to the top. Young men and women, boys znd girls, do not despise humble beginings but let this story and Wode Maya's own life stories, motivate you and believe that you can make it too despite your current circumstances.
The Estate is very beautiful and therapeutical, The couple has done so well building such a big company in Africa, ,Maya good work done for always showcasing such an intelligent Africa entrepreneurs to the world.
To have all the money in the world, and one doesn't take care of their Health and Mental Wellbeing is a waste of time. I applaud this wonderful couple 🙏🏽🥂🍾
As a Jamaican, I can hear Mosiah Marcus Garvey and Dr. Osagyefo Kwame through this interview. African is only continent doesn't need anything from the west. Long live MAMA AFRICA and all black people around the world l🌎🌎🌍
Your entrepreneurship series proves that Africans are persistent, consistent and resilient in achieving our goals and this shows that we can do positively if we put our minds to it . Great job Maya .

I love how this couple just get each other. I love how they love each other and I pray they continue like this in love and business. I only wish I could have had a marriage like this. I am 52 and I have never been married. I admire how my African people grew up knowing the importance of marriage and how it was instilled in them from childhood that this is a must for success. Oh how our culture would be so much better. I truly believe that a young black man needs his father IN THE HOME AND PRESENT IN HIS LIFE DAILY...JUST AS HIS MOTHER IS PRESENT!. Now do not get me wrong I am a single mother of a young black man of which is autistic and even my son saw how his father needed to be in the home. They once had an argument of which I was gonna step in but when I heard what was being mentioned I stepped back and said wow this has been on my son's heart and I said oh this is what a man to man heart to heart is all about. I loved the fact that my son at his age at that time told his father "no you will not whip me", "I want you to listen to me"! It was a wow moment for me and his father. When I tell you guys he backed down and listened to my son and I was wowed again when my son told his father that his problem was the fact his father didn't marry his mother after getting her pregnant. Out of the mouths of babe. I love you Wode Maya and pray I get to meet you and your lovely wife someday.
Very motivated. And especially by the mention of Mrs Kabu saying she's from Embu, my very county. I like the way it's clear to see the formula they used, the demonstration of process in the whole story. Very motivational. Thanks Maya

Kiswahili (Swahili) should be mandatory to learn for every continental African, and Afro descendant worldwide. It would be easier for us to communicate with each other...The "United States of Africa" was the dream of the "Fathers of Pan-Africanism". All Africans worldwide should support it. I am advocating for a unified currency in Africa because it can bring numerous benefits. Firstly, it would facilitate seamless travel and boost tourism by eliminating currency exchange hassles. Secondly, it could lead to cheaper flights within the continent, promoting easier mobility for both business and leisure purposes.
