Erosion was already an issue along PEI's coastlines. Can't imagine how long this will take to repair, but I hope something can be done to support the communities.

Really tragic to see these communities in such a state. I hope the rebuilding process is quick. ofc you can't replace the connections you have to your old home, it must be hard.

He offered little to Canadians, while delivering hundreds of millions to the world. He sees himself not as the Canadian Prime Minister but as the magnanimous sugar daddy to the world.

Every storm alters the coastal landscape. In fact, the coastal landscape is constantly changing even without any storms due to normal tidal action, winds, and rainfall.

Several decades of erosion in a couple of days. The only thing that doesn't change is wilful ignorance. It's as timeless as the tides.

Time to invest in Home Depot, Lowes and any other home renovation/hardware type of store. Between Florida and the Maritimes, these companies are going to be doing a booming business.

Do we really need the prime minister’s selfish photo ops at this time of destruction…come on…climbing on to the digger???

If he stays in Ottawa “he doesn’t care about Canadians”, if he goes to see and speak with those affected “it’s a selfish photo-op”. You whiners are insufferable.

@@mustardmike he can do as many photo ops as he wants his actions are what matters and the fact that he’s willing to spend millions/billions on a proxy war overseas rather then his own citizens who are suffering, exponentially so due to Fiona and a recession, speaks volumes. maybe we’ll see a video of him singing “I will survive” in the upcoming days, it’s part of his character after all.
