A Power Sword splits the bonds between Atoms and therefore would definitively cut right through the Mandalorian‘s Bescar armor. That is the same reason why a Power sword would cut trough a light saber, for a lightsaber blade is basically just super heated plasma.
On the other hand, the lightsaber's plasma containment field and the power sword's disruption field are similar enough that they would probably clash. I'd still favor the power sword because the weight of having a physical blade increases momentum and striking power, and I have a hard time seeing it barely cut through blast doors like Qui Gon in Phantom Menace.
that's not really what lightsabers are. also, plasma is already so disintegrated that you won't need to 'cut through it ' in the first place: that's like talking about cutting through a gas. and by that logic, then mando only needs one good hit with his disintegrating rifle to kill the marine, as it also breaks stuff apart on the atomic level. and I'm not even sure that that's how power awords work in the first place
@@tau-5794 At least by Lucas's original vision (don't know about current canon) lightsaber weights around the same as greatsword it's just how all lightsaber wielders use force to enhance themselves physically to be able to use them like they're nothing. Yeah the strength difference is way too much and let's say beskar is as good as cermite, even then a space marine has the better armour because its thicker.
@@yeetleskeet854 If beskar was on par with ceramite then that makes mando even more screwed because bolters tear through space marine armor, and Din's beskar armor is nowhere near as thick or as protective as space marine armor. 14:58 is where it is at. Also, I like the fact that even Aussie boi give the bloke plot armor. Blocking an Astartes blow would've shattered his joints no matter how indestructible that staff is. And matter how strong that armor is, a full on fist would've shattered his skull by blunt force trauma alone or have his neck break by the shear force. It is just a helmet afterall.
No just traps and they use atruition, also they have weapons made to kill jedis like actusl bullets, jedis are awful blocking bullets and theyre afraid of those.
I’m impressed he made a nearly 20 minute long video about it. I would’ve called it after that first overhead strike and mandos arms just shatter under the 10-15 tons of pressure.
It'd be a much closer matchup, but I'd still give it to the Chief. Unfortunately for Mando, he's still biologically a normal human, whereas Chief has been significantly enhanced and, I would argue, more thoroughly trained. The Beskar armor can take more punishment than a typical suit of MJOLNIR armor, especially if it's Mk. IV or older, but that's pretty much his only real advantage; it doesn't have personal deflector shielding, which exists in Star Wars but is incredibly expensive and power hungry. Most probably, Mando would end up fleeing after his blaster bolts splash off of the energy shielding on Chief's armor; Chief would be unable to pursue the jetpack enhanced Mandolorian directly. If we go by his canonical novel feats, Chief might be a good enough shot to take out the jetpack.
Maybe use something other than space marines for these comparisons. There are a lot of elite soldiers in the Imperium it doesn't always have to be the Astartes.
I read alot of comments from people saying that mando needs plot armor to win. But forget that most of space marines feats Also include plot armor. The blasters in star wars fire plasma rounds so even in 40k that would be deadly. I mean how many plasma pistol shots can space marines survive in 40k universe
Fun fact the laser guns of a guard's men is said to have to release the same amount of energy as a modern tank round or more on a target and is considered a flash light to space marines so none of the small arm weapons that the mandalorion has would even burn the paint off of the space Marin
The year is 2022 You awaken at 4PM in your government housing unit and look at your phone to see Majorkill uploaded a video *"Can a medieval knight defeat a Space marine"* ... "...and then the knight cuts off the space marines arm and penetrates one of his hearts..." "...in short there is no way a medieval knight can defeat a space marine."
The disruptor rifle is probably strong enough to kill the scion through his carapace armor, though I don't think his blaster pistol is. The rifle is also breech-loading so a huge drawback compared to the full-auto hellgun a scion would be carrying around. Also, assuming the battle is in an urban environment, the jetpack is good for mobility but is very loud and would give his position away, at which point the scion could blow away his cover, and more than likely get a shot between the beskar plates.
@@Michael-mn4ef Even if the Mando's armour wouldnt fly to thousand pieces, the human behind it would turn to mush because the armour doesnt have enough padding to stop something of a Bolter round. I'm pretty confident that mandolorians' strength comes from them being hunters. If he could somehow gather enough information about his enemy and prepare accordingly, he would probably win, just by finding a proper tool to hunt down the enemy. But a mandolorian without preparation has a major disadvantage. Without preparation, but with rocket and long distance or jetpack to gather distance - probably can. They showed them to blow up spaceships. Without his rocket - he'll probably lose. With preparation, probably with his desintegrator rifle - he'll probably win. Close quarters, and without his jetpack - he'll probably lose. UDP: that was a cool representation of the fight but why the hell didn't he use his backpack rocket?

@@BartimaeusAurelius nah that’s fake

This makes me really wonder how Mando would face against Master Chief.
