    I’ve had both and I recommend the Camry. Yes, the don’t have the same gas mileage as a corolla but they’re still safer, roomier, more fun to drive, and reliable. The corolla feels like a chicken nugget with a steering wheel.

    • @richscott2483
      @richscott2483 Год назад +4

      Agree! I'd rather have a whole chicken than a nugget. For people who want the basic, super affordable, no thrills, boring, great MPG, everyday city driver, get the Corolla. Want a family car that has respectable features even though it is not either a top luxury or sports car get the Camry. The Camry is better suited for long road trips as it is quicker to accelerate, provides better handling and comfort, may provide a few extra safety features, and a larger vehicle tends to have better protection if involved in an accident. Note: All vehicles feel cheap today as they are built with more plastic, glass, and aluminum, plus adding more expensive computer gadgets, as the automotive industry believes more Air Bags are the best safety device. Oh! Air Bags can be easily punctured. Oops! sorry for your death as the airbag could not stop that sharp object from penetrating your body. In the last few decades, vehicles are cheaply built with inferior parts, this is why vehicles made in the 1960s through the early 1980s are better than those made today because they were solid and used steel. What will last longer: a metal Tonka toy truck or a plastic one? It's like driving a tank over a child's Big Wheel. It gets Crushed!!!

Corolla and Camry both have low-ground clearance, Depending on the engine selected i4, hybrid, or V6 ( V6 avail only with Camry) results in the MPG desired. Between Corolla and Camry the MPG is relatively close, excluding the Camry V6. It comes down to price, comfort, handling, and amenities. Cost range of $23K up to $40K. Toyota vehicles are considered reliable and above average in safety. You're 7 years older than I, born in the same state, and share the same nickname Scotty, then we both like Toyota's. I wish Toyota will hire this guy on their new car designs... the engine, transmission, room, reliability cheap but luxurious daily car designs... I wanna see the Toyota' Scotty XLE model...

    Anymore, MPGs should not be a factor between Corolla and Camry - for 2022 the MPGs are 30/38 and 28/39 city/highway respectively.. not enough to be a deciding factor. Rather, the ride, and conveniences in each model.

    Don't know about the 86 but I've had a FR-S since 2014 with a 6 speed Automatic transmission! No problems, it's faster than the standard even on the track! You must have hada damaged transmission? Love your videos!

      Of course it is....the computer can shift faster than a person can.....but it's less fun than a standard.

    Scotty can you get permission to put those laughing animals on t-shirts so we can support you more. You are my favorite person on RUclips. I am on my second Subaru WRX, had a 2015 and almost done with my 2018 WRX, and although you talk some smack about Subaru I don’t mind cause I only lease them haha (horse laughing)
