I've loved watching your vids since I was younger and In the end I really do like to show that any tank can admirably perform regardless of its affiliated nation or its subpar status. By no means is this tank great, but it's by no means HORRIBLE -- It could definitely use (along with the rest of the UK lights) some minor buffing and QoL checks though!

Technically, a machine gun is a battleship gun, since battleships were armed with it.

I think there was a typo in WG's memo. It was supposed to read "battleshit", and not "battleship".

As a World of Warships player, I can state with certainty that the WG rep that came up with that line has clearly never seen a battleship (or a certain other WG title). Pretty much at best a 75mm gun is an AA pop-gun to us over in the wetter part of the salt mines, almost nothing is even penetrable by 75mm guns beyond tier 3 in WoWS.

That's the first issue. The second is unrestrained greed. That's why gold ammo is even a thing. That's why premium tanks are getting more and more ridiculous. That's why they keep putting premium tanks that they know are overpowered back on sale again and again, despite taking them out of sale because they were toxic for the game's balance.
But chucking this in a spreadsheet, it comes out behind. This time they completely disregarded even the spreadsheet.
That WAS just the Wargaming WoT division. Their WoWS division has succumbed to what I can only assume is a sudden rush of communism to the brain, as all of the Russian ships, most of which are paper, are suddenly better than any other nation in existence. It's been this way since the Soviet Navy event. :/
I love "good guy" stories in these games and not enough RUclipsrs highlight those stories.

baloney. the problem is WG not arty. Let's see, it's hard enough to grind arty. Arty is offered by WG. Mediums and heavies whine incessantly, so 20% of the vehicles are nerfed to uselessness. Now they removed friendly fire effects from the game? What about the super heavies - that splash damage gone now? Ridiculous

Between my short period of military service, my entry and education in the field of medicine, and my life experiences, I give respect and consideration to all people until i'm given reason NOT to. Trolls are tiring so I just don't waste my time with em'! But there are always good people out there.

@@andrewinbody4301 Much appreciated. I live with her and care for her since she suffers from Systemic Lupus and I have my own medical fights I've had to deal with too. I'm actually currently recovering from an eye surgery procedure that happened August 30th! My family has never had all that much money or freedom to do things, but i've always gotten by with enough effort and time. Friends and family have supported me a bunch, and i've always had a friend who'd help me financially if situations turned sour and they always got repaid to my best ability. My mother's the reason I am who I am today, and she deserves my time, attention and help.
As a fan of Greek Mythology I must say that watching the Chimera nearly burn to death was both ironic and funny to me at the same time. Regardless, kudos to Dhizi for showcasing a great performance and good sportsmanship in that battle. As always, I thank our Gnome Overlord and I'm looking forward to the next upload.

Well the Chimera (also known as Chimaera which roughly translates as "she-goat") was a mythical beast; fire breathing hybrid with a front body and head of a lion, the head of a goat in the middle and head of a snake in place of it's tail. All three heads were breathing fire. This hybrid was the offspring of Echidna (a half woman, half snake monster) and Typhos (a giant snake and the son of Gaia and Tartarus) Chimera terrorized the lands of Lycia until it was eventually slain by Bellerophon (the rider or Ancient Greece's most epic flying mount ;Pegasus) by the order of the king Iobates of Lycia. That's why I find the fact that the Chimera tank on the enemy team almost burnt to death ironic and amusing. And what fascinates me about mythologies is that there is always a link and reference to other stories and characters within a myth. I'd also like to think that Chimera is somewhat related to other beasts such as the Cerberus, The Sphinx and The Orphus, though that's just my guess. I'd love to get my hands on a book of Iliad or the Odyssey.
When WG said the British lights have navel cannons they must have ment the anti-air cannons that are on the cruisers, destroyers and some battleships XD

@@dnnkb I play in console and PC, so not liable to happen. If I get tired of the submarines, I have a Legends account with three finished lines. Heck, I have as many ships in Legends as I do on PC. I only play PC to see what the tier X's are like. So far, the only ship that's wowed me is the Yammy.

I really do not understand why he wanted to gift him a top gun; it's nothing special.
I'd have just destroyed the arty tbh. Wasting a shot into a rock just to receive a Fadin's medal would make it pretty worthless imo. It's like BIA medals with platoons made at the end of the game. Or come to think of it, being gifted a Top Gun. At least that example showed that some players do care about the gaming experience of other players. Looking at the end game stats and finding I have a Top Gun is a nice surprise, not sure I'd care much if someone had obviously gifted me the Top Gun. Each to their own though.

With that in mind I would probably also have allowed the other guy to get the top gun badge.
9:21 true Jingles, but a fully upgraded Tiger 1, when played right, well I average 1.5k dmg per game, even in tier 9 matches, which I actually prefer over tier 7 matches, for you have to play the Tiger 1 like, as I always say, a medium tank with a severe case of arthritis, but has a great gun.
P.S I have 3 marks of Excellence for my Tiger 1.

Wait what? Arty Teamdamage is OFF? Does that mean that a regular tank can still TK arty but not the other way around?!
Friendly fire was removed a few patches ago! Artillery can still STUN allies, but you cannot do ANY damage to an ally unless your tank LANDS on them from a fall or impact. Artillery can still turn blue from repeatedly stunning allies (and then they can be shot and killed by allies) and you can still turn blue by falling on an ally (and then be killed by allies, too).
So you can TK an artillery if they repeatedly stun allies and turn blue, yes.
When Wargaming said it was "battleship guns", they were actually completely true. They just forgot to tell us it was the AA guns of a battleship.
I wish they also had the ammunition feeder. So far, it looks like they just took a spare barrel, stuck it to the tank and said "here you go, battleship gun"

Okay I've played the Setter, and i currently own the LHMTV, they are not bad jingles.. PLAY THEM BEFORE YOU MAKE ASSUMPTIONS. extremely fun, and also you need to proxy spot literally all of them..
The brit lights would've been okay... if they had *one* thing that stood out against every other branch of lights.
Like... 20+ view range above and beyond the best light/medium of the tier.
OR a serious 3-450+ alpha damage 'battleship' gun (compensating the lack of ammo) with high pen, high accuracy, and horribly bad reload (14+sec)
But... as they are... it's a WTF line of 'why the fuck bother' except for completionists...
Wargaming could fix the Gameplay for british light tanks with ONE easy fix. Make the repairs DIRTCHEAP and any spotting you do in those will do to make your money back. So you can just suicide-spot like in the old times. It surely would be great fun, until they come up with an actual fix.
2850 dmg done, 3396 spotting dmg, 2 shots left and winning the Battle results in -12.500 credits without Premium. Come on Wargaming get your Shit together.

Just going to point out that [paraphrasing] "artillery couldn't hit anything and when it did it didn't do much damage"....and apparently thats not a problem? That last kill was probably aimed half an hour ago and fired into the next county and the next 500 shots (so 12 years) is going to be nothing but complete misses.
Well...even battleships in world of warships have 76mm secondary armament so...yeah, it is a battleship gun :P

If they didn't have the penetration values they did, I would certainly say it would feel like that, yes! But luckily this thing at T7 has 189 pen which is insanely good.

Fadin? Probably taken away by arty as well because setter has such long reload. Another thing to point out is Kan Pz 105 has low DPM too. Yet 2 low DPM tanks survived and did most of the work.
I don’t understand the uproar about the Britsh lights. Most of the tanks and tracked vehicles the British build over the years were horribly shitty. So WoT is (for once) being merely realistic about it.
Note the last endplate- only because of the premium account did he just barely break even on expenses on an ace game like this one. He couldn't have used that many gold shells, the thing is low on ammo to begin with. So it isn't even that the tank itself is that bad (though it is), but rather that even if you do your job properly, you'll be bled of credits and that's just depressing.

Wargaming didn't even slap a new gimmick onto these things. Make it something fun like, camo rating doesn't get reduced when firing or something. These things are just too overwhelmingly bad to even justify their mere existence.
Nobody gets why wargaming released the british lights the way they did. Over the last few years wargaming have made some ridiculously good tanks, right? *russian accent* too many broken tanks da? How do we balance? I know, we release really bad tanks so that powerlevel stays same! And everybody in the crowd goes "DA!" and they all have a shot of vodka
Does anyone have any suggestions for fixing my game it crashes all the time. Loadin into the game itself it will crash between 1 and 5 times before I get in successfully and then one in 15-20 games it crashes while I load into the match itself. I’m playing in an MSI labtop with the setting on one below the suggested system setting.

The opinion of one or two have soured the reputation of a line of tanks that are actually not bad at what they do. Think for yourselves and give them a try. If you try to Yolo scout, then yes, you'll have a bad time. However, if you play them like proper scouts I think you'll agree.
That Arty blowing himself up in the rocks is what gives all Arty a bad rep even though I try to play mine like a good sport.
Also realized too late it was friendly arty taking it instead of a suicide. Oh well.

I'm surprised our star did so well in a tank better designed to run around and act as cannon fodder for the enemy team. If all players came together and boycotted these infernal machines (or World of Tanks) until they were removed or fixed, the world would be better for it.
