When you lose a knife fight in a Lefefe against any other artillery, you can uninstall the game. That thing is bloody atrocious on close knife fights, I know because I have it and you can snap shot with it like crazy...

@@bertjesklotepino, with the Lefh you just point and shoot in shotgun mode and you aim 2mm higher. You will hitt 2 out of 3 bullseye
Jadgpanzer 2, 51-53 tons, going down hill, the E100 was on 37 health, and the Jadgpanzer took 466 dmg, the Jagdpanzer took 12 times the dmg that the E100 did from the ram, I’d say that’s fair
and yet he took only 0 damage from the leopard even though they are both around 40 tons...

The E100 only took 37 damage because that's all he had. If he had more, he'd take more. No mystery here.
Aren't you guys forgetting the equipment that reduces ramming damage taken? That could be in play in this instance.

5:27 to be fair, the car was extremely unlucky in that the 152mm shell didn’t miraculously bounce off the rubber tyre like it normally would.

Last time I played WoT was summer 2017 and I still remember that ramming damage also depends on which part of tank is hit.

Jingles, Foch had 37 hp remaining when that 50 ton TD rammed him at about 40kmph. He’d have died even if he was in the Maus. Though the Jagdpanther May have died from the ram too if he was in a Maus. Against an E-100 though, yeah he can take that damage with all the hp he had. And maybe the other E-100 has a spall liner, which lessens HE and ramming damage. As far as I can tell, nothing wrong here.

@@misterdayne2792 why is it shady? imagine two blocks colliding, one will practically always get its corners edge towards the side of the other, meaning there will always be different contacts points, and with collision working as with he, you may have different results depending on exactly where they make contact
I think he hit the E-100's upper plate with his own lower glacis. This might explain the difference
Controlled impact means you have RNGesus blessing when you go yolo. I have done it, specially with light tanks.

That last ram... Sir Foch only had 37 hp remaining. Having a weight advantage doesn't mean you take NO damage. The GP did take much more damage in the ram, but he had the HP to absorb that damage. Sir Foch didn't.
E100 was rammed by E100 and lost 2 (two !!!) HP. E100 was rammed by Jgdp2 for 37. Logic.
@@Wysch Maybe the other guy has that ramming skill or different equipment.
@@Wysch he lose 80 hp in the ram against the other E100. And the Jadgpanther has built up more speed when he does the ram at the end. While weight and armor affect ram damage calculation significantly, speed at the moment of collision also play a large factor.
@@Wysch well... He lost 80 against the enemy E100, and the enemy E100 lost 2... But, what could be a factor is if the enemy E100 was using a superheavy spall liner, as those turn Maus and E100 type tanks into true ramming monsters, able to ram for absurdly high damage rolls, with a minimum amount of damage in return. Same could be said for the JgPz at the end, as if it had a spall liner equiped, then that may have given him the edge needed to finish off Foch, but that's only a guess. Or, he may have just had a lucky damage roll on his final ram. It's anyone's guess really.

Ah, This brings back the good times where you could get 10 kills in a match, 9 Confederates, 1 High Caliber, 1 Radley-Walters medal, 2 Kolobanov's medal, 5 Defenders, and 2 Kamikazes with the FV304. Then update 9.0 arrived and ruin it all.

8:15 I think that the E 100 coming from below the slope hit Foch's E 100 in the lower plate, with its upper plate. Probably the different thickness determined the difference in damage from the ram.
They rammed each other from the front, but didn't collide on the same armor plate.

I miss the days of the tiny speedy wagon that was Bert. Even though i didnt play it there was a huge level of satisfaction when you actually shot and killed one when he was zipping about.

I’m surprised you are amazed by the tank ram formula Jingles it all done on Big world game engine still yes I know encore came into the game in 1.0 but only to do graphics big world is still the WOT game engine. Of course big world was developed in the late nineties and went live in 2002 used in a ton of games non are still around and Wargaming bought it all for 45 million dollars in 2012. A lot of money now and even more then for a game engine that was developed for computers in the nineties lol.
The ramming damage mechanics really make no sense, it's a combination of angles, who is moving faster, who is heavier, relative angle of surface to point of impact, all weird

That is one of the best FV304 plays of all since the great arty nerf.
He cannot stun, he only has one ammo, and his dmg is so low he's lucky to get double figure with a direct hit.
At 11:34: Jingles, this doesn’t even deserve an “Actually Jingles”, you’re just wrong about this. The Jpanther II has a good health pool and with the limits of ramming damage shot the E100 for enough damage to leave him at 37 health, allowing him to kill Foch with the ram. Well thought out by the JPanther II player who proved to not be as much of an idiot as even you expected!
He was the only one who didnt play completely braindead at the end, and was more of a threat to the E100 than any of the others, even though his turretless td was disadvantaged

The JagdPanther 2 has 100 armor and if he goes down hill it will do some serious damage and he also has the health to survive even a super heavy tank like the E 100 couldn't survive the ram

6:42 Funny that you'd think angling in a 121 would do any difference. Unlike the 430U and to some degree the E 50 M, the actual front of the 121 is the weakpoint.

Regarding the intro, I don't think that's how an "artillery duel" is supposed to go...
Bert is not artillery , it is a mortar carrier carrage on a light tank chassis, unfortunately this means Bert lacks the unobtainium armour of it's cousin the kv2, it does have a better reload and can lob shots over inconveniences like rocks, tanks, buildings, map borders, Nerf hammers.
Speaking of Nerf hammers, wargaming has tried hard to strip Bert of his flavor, but Bert is unimpressed and continues to flank, scout, zip around the map, and hide in bushes.
That intro had me in stitches.

MR JINGLES with the up and coming BIG PATCH. I'm wondering about this. When you get the medals for killing or xping every tank in the countries tier line (Currently)
When they WG remove those lower tier etc tanks to the "Collectors Bin" How are we supposed to get those medals.
Are we to rely or hope somebody gets one via credits etc and hope we meet them on the field and hope we kill them ???

As far as my knowledge stretches, Ramming works as an explosion at the point of impact, and damages both tanks involved in the ram as a result. The amount of damage created is based on the following:
0.5 * combinedWeight * relativeSpeed^2
Basically, both tanks’ weight put together, multiplied by how fast they were smashing into each other. Once the damage has been calculated, the damage distribution is affected by the following formula:
individual Weight/combined Weight of both tanks
The actual damage calculation then follows the same formula used for HE round.

@The Mighty Jingles - FYI I think Claus Kellerman might well be onto something after watching this indecipherable example of ramming mechanics; the "Dollars per Minute" algorithm, which also seems to be in keeping with many other features of WoT and WoWs.

Fock lost 37, jpanther lost 466 health
which means he took 12.5x more damage than Foch did...

Um... Jingles... when SirFoch gets rammed by the JP2, he only has 37hp left; the JP2 hit him for 508 just before the ram. Jingles, don't ever change. :)
Ramming in WoT is a goofy mess.
Once witnessed a game end with a ram between an allied T110E5 and an enemy Jagdtiger. The E5 was stationary with scarcely 50 HP and the Jagdtiger was rolling at around 20 km/h with more than 200 HP. Of course, the tank 20 tons lighter with far less HP won. Never change WoT.

37 hp at the end, vs 757. jagd took 470 or so damage, maybe would have done like a hundred? still just enough to work. I wish I could have pulled that off occasionally when I was still playing WOT...
I can hear Foched yelling in this video. And cursing WarGaming over the broken nature of Ramming. As to how a tank that weighs as much as the Deathstar (the space station planet killer). Can die against a mouse (little creature). That is beyond me. As even the Deathstar has proven it can take a ram. Though it is still calling HAX against some nobody named Luke...Skywanker?

I wanna bet that what happened there was the Panther II grade upper plate of the JagdPanther was the contact point of the E-100s lower plate. The E-100 would take a bit more damage in that situation, still don't know how the J-Panther II SURVIVED though.... I would have assumed a mutual and a draw.
PS Jingles. Back when I still had the auflkpanther, I ram killed an E 100 on about 87 hp on himmelsdorf, and the aufklpanther weighed about 42 tons.

Ouch, if Foch had not had HE loaded (because he jsut fought borsig) when he shot JP2, that ramming would have resultet double kill, and pools medal for Foch... not salty about it at all, i'm sure...
Jingles, of all people you should know that in addition to weight, speed and armor also play a big role in ramming. That Leo, though 40 tonnes, had no armor, so was crushed like a chicken egg. Jagpanther has armor, had speed and weight. It too took a huge hit, but had hit points t take it. E100 didn't. Everything made perfect sense. Jingles? *Hears gun click* *ducks for cover!*
We will never fully know how much damage the JPanther II would have done but 37 damage ram while taking 466 damage (medium weight bumping a massive bolder). It does make sense the E100 would take some damage, as it was nearly dead, it didnt need much to die.

I love to playing the E100 in a platoon with friends, but i dislike playing it solo. Its Just to team dependend with that reload. Sidescraping works only with less skilled players u Will get rushed with higher skilled players. Its not even that well armored. Or at least not effective sloped armored. U have to turn the turret slightly. But jur aim blooms to much for that. Well anyway sir foch can be epic in any crap tank some how. Thats real skill, not the ones who can only play good in overpowered vehicles. False ego's they have

And this is why w/l in random battles means nothing. I have btdt on more than 1 occasion. Had 9 kills, but their last remaining tank, an arty, hit me just as I killed their next to last tank. Done it about 4 or 5 times with 8 kills. Sometimes you just can't carry hard enough. So w/l really means nothing.
Well it's possible, and likely the enemy E100 had a Spall liner, and/or controlled impact. He was moving during the bump, so it would have been active.
Would you ever consider taking a World of Tanks mobile replay? I don’t know how well they would show up on a computer screen though. I ask because not long ago I played a game in the BT-7. My entire team lemming rushed at the enemy team on the mines map. Of course, they all got slaughtered after they managed to kill 2 enemy lights. So there I was, alone in the town trying to cap fucking surrounded and I managed to cheese my way out of it and win the game. It was my best game ever but it really wasn’t that impressive considering the other videos you have on here tbh.
The jpz 2 is not really light, so an obvious mistake to play into the ram. People seem to think he only took 37 damage, but he definitely took more, most likely in the range of 100. I don't mean to argue that ramming works fine in this game though, it's still terrible overall and warrants a rework like pretty much 90% of this game.
You want more bullshit ram damage? Nashorn charges at a kv-3 (don't remember if they stated that they were out of ammo because it happened so long ago) I figured in a loosing effort since it was a one shot to an HE shot anyway. Nashorn takes 300 something damage, does a high 400 damage to the kv and kills it. Then immediately bounced an entire leopard's magazine off its ass. I was speechless, but then the game remembered that nashorn is indeed not a heavily armored tank. So an artillery shot missed, and killed it with splash damage
Foch probably didn't have a Superheavy Spall liner on his E-100, which could be why he took more damage than the enemy E-100.
The Ramming Mechanic's of WoT is just as sad as the rest of the game has become. Wot sat down one day and said ok here we are. We are going too write the rule book on how the game is too be presented. Then ( " In Secret " ) they wrote another rule book this is how the game is actually going too be played! Then they promptly filed both of these rule books in the garbage can behind the file cabinet. Where up on filing them they could both be claimed too still be in existence. Yet conveniently forgotten about. Until someone remembers that they are there. With a sticky note attached too them. That says use only in case of Extreme danger of a Revolt from the Subscribers.
In which case means that any time someone actually grows a set of ballz long enough too log onto the forums and file a complaint about Wot's typical B.S. That they allow too run ram-pit on any given day that ends in Y.
Im going to sound like a broken record but... At 8:01 watch at .25 playback speed. His reticle jumps from the tracks to both cheeks to the turret ring all while his mouse is pointed in the e100s general direction.
Actually jingles, the JPt II is 53t to the the leos 39t and it has 100mm frontal armor to the 70 leo gets. I will let myself out.
RNG like this is one of the biggest reasons I try WoT for a few days then uninstall again. I would have thrown my computer out the window if RNG screwed me over like that, Foch should have won. (The biggest reason I don't play much anymore though is artillery....)
