Well Jingles, the "auto" in autoloader stands for automotive, meaning that in the loading mechanism there is a little car going "brumm brumm" back and forth to load the ammo, in the italian Automatic Autoloader its a little italian going "brumm brumm" back and forth to load the ammo
Actually Jingles, the auto- in autoloader derives from the ancient Greek, and means self, so this would be an automatic self-loader. Edited to add: this is why it's called in German a Selbstlademechanismus, or, a self-loading mechanism
Path Of Exile It’s understandable why. The devs dropped it. It doesn’t get updated anymore, hasn’t it a year. But if you want someone who does play it, who is a hell of a lot more knowledgeable of it...? Check out JiveTurkey. Former Los Angeles Class sonar operator.
The autoloader mechanism in the Italian tanks actually work just a ready rack in tanks like the merkava from armored warfare for example. As soon as one shot is fired it starts reloading and getting that round ready, and when all shots are fired it reloads one at a time instead of reloading the whole clip before it's ready to fire
I love getting to work in the morning and seeing another Jingles video. I've learned quite a few tactics from these videos that I'm still putting into practice. Thanks Jingles!
It’s 0309 in the American Midwest and I saw Baby Driver for the first time about ten minutes ago with a great group of friends. Now I can see a Jingles upload early for the first time!
The best way to describe the italian auto reloader in comparison to others is like this. Italian autoloaders are like thumbing rounds into a revolver. While a standard autoloader is a whole magazine.
Wincing as he runs over everything in his path towards the end. One enemy with the breakage mod and he is announcing his position every few seconds. Even just an enemy watching his dead tank can see that stuff.
My understanding is that an Autoloader basically functions like a semi-automatic rifle in that the bolt mechanism loads a fresh shell into the breach of the barrel from the magazine automatically as part of it's reciprocating action. The Automatic Autoloader has that same reciprocating breach loading system, but it ALSO has a mechanically automated system to continuously load more shells into the bottom of the magazine from the ammo rack or from a loading bay so that the magazine never has to be removed. So basically, there is no human loader OR the loader only has to move the shells from the rack to the loading bay and the machine takes care of the heavy lifting. This also explains why each consecutive shell is a quicker reload. If the shells are being loaded from the BOTTOM of the magazine, they then have to be lifted up into position to be loaded into the gun breach or into the "next in line" position or into the "3rd in line position" Each consecutive "lift" has to travel a physically shorter distance before it is in the ready position. Thus each consecutive shell loads into the magazine a tiny bit quicker than the one before it. Not being a tank history buff, I could be way off. but it does seem logical if you know a bit of the mechanics of how firearms in general function.
That autoloader remind me of the "First Order Ready Rack" in AW. You have a magazine that will load new shells to the clip, and give you a bigger burst of damage.
Honestly Jingles every time you lately feature a WoW video - its a treat that even I who doesnt play warships appreciate. While your WoT videos feature mostly very mediocre games. Take this guy - being a top tier in arguably best non-premium tier 8 tank who pretty much fucks up most of what he does and wins only by sheer luck. Since we have only one WoT video per week I still kinda hope for something special. Your comment is mostly great (all the errors including) though :)
I have to say, this game shouldn't have been as close as it was. You should DEFINITELY finish off tanks like the T20 and the Cromwell if you have a shell remaining. Always cut down the number of guns shooting at you if you can. More careful aiming would have saved him some hp, like against the AMD, and he was lucky to damage and track that IS-6 at long range. At the end it would have been safer to keep going east and catch the arty first, since they are usually more likely to be very close to the cap or possibly in the NE corner. Plus there were 12 perfectly fine premium rounds available for loading and plenty of time to load them, should it be necessary to get through tough SU armor. And driving around well within the view range of the Hummel trying to find it was very risky, when just staying back a bit would likely have spotted the Hummel without being spotted in return. But good result nonetheless.
Actually, Jingles, there are two different things being loaded automaticly. The typical "autoloader" automaticly reloads the *breech* after each shot from an integral magazine, but it's up to the human loader to reload the magazine itself. This "automatic autoloader" not only automaticly reloads the breech, but whenever the magazine is anything less than fully loaded, it'll even automaticly reload the *magazine*. So, there truly is two different automatic systems in play here. See how easy things are when you just talk them out?
I'm pretty sure the M44 wasn't spotted there in the SW corner. Flip was, and the shot came in on him and just happened to splash the arty. That's why there wasn't a follow-on shot.
Well actually Jingles, I believe the high-tier Italian tanks in WOT are known for what is called the Auto-reloading system and...Jingles ? *hears shotgun pumping sounds*
Kinda random but this match made me think. I want WOT to change the way sixth sense works and make it similar to warships sixth sense. In that when you're spotted it's lit up and it stays lit until you're unspotted
Ok wait, so the Italian auto/auto loading system is like having a really really hard springed mag in your rifle and a magazine that MUST be hand loaded and may not be replaced? Getting that right
Two-shot bursts are the preferred method to those experienced with these tanks. They keep the enemy intimidated with a shot in the mag. Also, if that name is too silly, then I believe auto-reloader is also acceptable. At least it is in the NA.
So the whole "auto-autoloader" or "autoreloader" fuss basically means Wargaming discovered the magic of ready racks aka something nearly every tank had?
Video is titled "Trigger Discipline"... Literally doesn't display trigger discipline once the entire match, twice throwing entire clips of half aimed shots at an AMD in the open. Oof
I was thinking this same thing the whole video. Just aim for half a second longer! He's not in a rush for half of these shots yet he doesn't give them time to aim and tries to snap shot everything early to mid game lol.
Overall he showed non good Trigger Discipline. Mostly poor aiming and left out some possible kill shots. Sure it is easy to judge afterwards but this performance was more underwhelming.
zombiebus_eu in all honesty the main reason I sent it in was just for the ‘brown alert’ moment at the end, and the close finish. Certainly there’s a lot I did ‘wrong’ and I wouldn’t claim otherwise, it was just nice to recover well enough to ‘carry’ for a change 🙂
