The Tuan of Antonie's Gat - Documentary History

During the 1700s, a sultan from Indonesia was captured by the Dutch and taken to Cape Town where he was imprisoned. After his escape, he hid in a coastal cave in Simons town. This cave is now known as Antonie's Gat and it is said that his spirit continues to live there. At least two Cape Town families claim to be descendants of this 'tuan' and this documentary traces their attempts to establish lineage.

Many of these Karamat History not much info. I've Studied in Java in Indonesia & I know most of the History. We are Not Cape Malay too... Majority Karamat comes Indonesia. At some Masaajid in the Cape then I Khutbah or my Khutbah is about how the Deen (Religion) came to the Cape. I'm busy to Launch a Book Called "Told & Unfold Stories of Holy Shrines from Indonesia"
