You should build a second pond for either when the koi get bigger or for native fish, I think that would look cool

I actually got the size perspective when all the koi's got in. The pond is quite deep and big. And the way larry 🦞fell into the pond upside down, that was hilarious 😂

I’ve always liked koi but just never had the space for them. The ones you got are gorgeous! The one with the black and red/orange spots may be my favorite of the ones you got. That inside look with the go-pro was so cool!

I had a pond that was bigger and deeper. I had to add plants for coverage to protect my fish from big white egrets. I know they got 3 Koi before I added plants plus 2 water Lily's. Add water Lily's in the sonny arear's of the pond. The pond where you got the rocks probably has water plants in it and you could get some of your plants from there. Except for the water Lily's I got the rest of the plants for my pond from the river.

That pond is not big enough for bass the koi eventually will outgrow it too but you are correct about not picking bass. Cool pond btw!

Awesome pond,what will you do when the koi out grow the pond? Maybe some sarasa goldfish which look similar to koi would be better in the long term.But the koi are fine I. There for now until they grow into beasts lol
