    On that big waterfall rock, you could have also spilt or cut the bottom off to get lower. Also the bonus of a flat bottom.

    Great work as always... and yeah, I'd love to see a dedicated video to overlapping a liner, I'm just about to install mine here in the UK and it would be a great help - I actually commented this on John Adams channel @ModernDesignAquascapingInc last week ... but he didn't get back to me 😪

    Hi Jaak, you and your team create amazing natural pieces of art, from large to small, great work, can’t wait to see this finished.
    For clarity here, you mention rock pad fabric, are you referring to underlayment or actual rock pad fabric?

      And thank you for the liner overlapping explanation

    • @AtlantisWaterGardens
      @AtlantisWaterGardens  Год назад +1

      It's a little thicker than normal underlayment. Same type of fabric.

    Man your waterfalls are always the best, can't wait to see how this one turns out!
    Which rock pad/liner combo is best for a DIY waterfall/pond project? I really *truly* hate to ask trade secrets from such a pro, but the liner is the only part I'm unwilling to trust my own judgment on. I'm in the desert and getting a hole could be mildly catastrophic.
    Thanks for all the inspiration and info! 🤙

      We use 45 mil EPDM pond liner and geotextile underlayment. Don't skimp on the pond liner to save a few bucks, you'll regret it in the long run.

    Great explanations and pond ! May I ask a question concerning the use of black foam ? I understand its use in the waterfalls to channel the water, but I sometimes see You/your team using it inside the pond itself. What is then the purpose of it ? Securing rocks ? Thank you.

    Awesome start!
    I do have a question...
    When you put in the drop liner, how do you do the edges? I built a small pond and then added a waterfall. Had a bit of a problem figuring out how I finished off the sides. It is working and after adjusting one side no leaks. I just wondered how you guys do it.
    Thank you. Can't wait to see the next vid!

    • @AtlantisWaterGardens
      @AtlantisWaterGardens  Год назад +1

      When overlapping liner (waterfall into pond ) you need to make sure there is enough pond liner to come up at least 6” higher than water level in the pond. * this extra liner will be vertical (imagine this is a shelf in pond). Then the overlap liner is placed on top (making sure pond liner underneath isn’t pushed down ) and then you start placing your frame rocks on the shelf and building your waterfall as you work back towards the biofalls.
