Winter Sowing - Starting some herbs and flowers

- It might not be spring yet, but it certainly is starting to feel like it. We wanted to start a few things before the baby comes, with plans to start a lot more once they have arrived.
This will be a year of experimenting and learning the differences of the climate here in Alaska. Our fingers are crossed it will not be as rainy as last summer was!

Hey. I planted amazing grays spring of 21 around the base of a tree. They popped up two years later randomly all over my yard 😂. I dug them up and put them in pots and they did ok all last summer We’ll see if they come back this year. Good luck 🍀
Good job getting a start on the seeds. Just a heads up even though you probably know this, you will want to keep mint in a pot for growing as if planted/transferred to your garden they can be quite invasive. Good luck hope everything grows well.
Yes. Mint is invasive and fast.

when you pregnaunt make sure wash your hands you should wear gloves something about the soil han harm the baby also patting ther cat or featle matter the kitt litter you should not handle it i was warned when my wife had our son about the dangers of certian things im sure your doctor has told you hope it all goes ok also the plants grow

Hey guys, thanks for this week's update. hope you are both doing ok. Great to see that you are starting to get set up ready for spring. Are you planning on using the poly tunnel for growing this year, or is it going to stay as storage for now? Stay safe both of you.
The goal this year is to only garden inside the greenhouse and hopefully fill it up, then prep outside the greenhouse for a garden for next year.

You should try celery and rhubarb they both grow great in northern MN and are hardy. And they comeback.

I watch GardenAnswer Oregon/Idaho area. She pre-moistens the soil which helps a lot.
You can do the bottle drain with water it in the lid drill a little hole

I’m not sure if you have tried or not but please try to baby proof the house I know you both will be great parents but I also know how fast and easy babies can get ahold of things. This was just my intake but please be careful.
They have plenty of time before the baby moves around.

Have a few weeks yet. The hospital is a little over 2 hours away.
