Why do people think Kendal is in the wrong here? Don't you see that Logan is a psychopathic narcissist who was about to send his son to prison to save himself, who cares and loves absolutely no one (maybe has a soft spot for Shiv but that's about it). All his kids are so afraid of him and so confused as to what kind of feelings they have for him (like they're suffering from Stockholm Syndrome). Kendal finally broke the pattern and got himself out of his father's toxic influence.
Because he is just as bad as his father. He is a narcissistic selfish egomaniac who doesn't actually care about the victims, he just wants to get revenge on Logan. I love this comment. Gets at an elusive quality about Season 3 that makes me absolutely adore it when most seem to consider it the weakest season. Though I'd say "there is no guarantee that things would turn out well" is an understatement - in fact the guarantee is that things *wouldn't* turn out well, because Kendall is delusional. That's what Season 3 is really about to me - the mind-breaking cognitive dissonance of allowing yourself to aspire to good as a member of the elite class, the delusional arrogance of thinking you alone can right the ship of History, an impossible dream that you can afford to sustain for just a bit because of the power that wealth affords you, but is destined to spectacularly implode. And, of course, all of it stems from his repressed guilt about the waiter's death in Season 1. That's the beautiful tragedy of "All the Bells Say" - comforted by his siblings, Kendall manages to finally move on from that guilt. But the manner in which he accomplishes this is necessarily through killing a bit of his own humanity, that part of him that empathizes and likes to fraternize with the lower class, the part of him that keeps him from "being a killer", that allows him to look at Logan and judge him as "evil". Think about the manner in which Kendall is comforted in that scene - the siblings, Roman particularly, make light of the incident, brush it off as no big deal, minimize Kendall's involvement; NRPI. It's tender, beautiful, a rare show of true familial love - and also deeply sinister. We celebrate his letting go because we know it does a man of his position no good, because the season has clearly shown that it can only cause him deep pain, and yet we (or I at least) also mourn it because it necessitates that Kendall lucidly accepts who he is and what he was born into. Born into unimaginable privilege, but doomed in his own way. There will be no redemption for these people.

He really only needs Shiv, Roman is just a lapdog and Connor isn't in a position of power within the company. Now that Shiv has a shiny title she has some credibility at least. But shes the only one with the guts to go after Logan, she made a whole career out of undermining his news network in politics. Kendall knows that as well, shes the least broken out of the three because she never dealt with Logans wrath growing up, and if she made the move it would put pressure on Roman and Connor as well. If Tom comes to his senses and tries to save himself instead of just accepting jail time, Shiv could have a redeeming arch by jumping ship from Logan to save her husband.
Beginning of Season 03 Gerri to Roman: ,,Stick with me, Roman, We have something going..'' and he does. The end of Season 03 Roman begging Gerri to be on his side, but she refuses because ,,it doesn't serve my interest.'' When man is guided by d*ck but woman by rationality. :D

I like that the show made us feel sorry for Kendall in season 2 then flip our judgement this season and keep all characters as ambigous. They're not suddenly turned into a decent person who cares about other people. Kendall didn't plan the coup well, he was acting in the heat of a moment like he always did. Don't get too attached guys, don't stress yourself out just watch the show as an outsider who sees a media mogul family is about to be doomed.
Kendall is the same brand of narcissist as Logan. His motivations are just different. Granted, Logan *made* Kendall that way, but the point still stands.
Ironically, Kendall assumes the donuts have spooked his siblings into dropping out. When in reality, they have scared him into a panicked state that cause the outbursts against Shiv and Connor.
He isn’t like his dad though. He cares about other people and actually feels guilt for his actions because some of those actions have hurt others’ feelings and even killed a kid because he was high on drugs while driving
Kendall wants to act like he's a good guy but in episode 4, when tom tried to tell him what was up, Ken said his dad loves the employees that eat shit for him. He knew what was happening and did nothing. He doesn't care about the victims or doing the right thing, he just wants to be the guy in charge and if you're not with him, well time to burn that bridge like he's Logan
"Is it because you don't take over, is that it?" - Yep, Kendall. That's what it was about for her all along. She was willing to sell you all under the bus to get the top job, and in the end, her cuuck got it. How ironic.
Ironically Kendall was on the money. Had they moved to take out Logan now - it would've ended well for all of them. As is - they took a long hard road to end up exactly where Kendall planned in the first place.
And if they had listened to Kendall and joined him here they wouldn't have found themselves out of an inheritance at the end. Karma is a bitch. I just wish Kendall had decided to divest his interests sooner. He would have been laughing at all of them with his cool 4 bil
After all of this idk how people don't consider him a better person than others, the thing is they're all somehow morally corrupt but at least ken has compassion and at least he's not a coward to speak up against his dad
He doesn't have compassion, he says himself in this episode that he's know about cruises for years. He doesn't actually care about the victims. He only spoke up cause Logan was gonna send him the jail. The second things don't go his way, he's the same bully that Logan is
I'm leaning Tom. Seems like he's ready to start making moves this season, he's one of the only ones who knew the Roy kids were meeting and he knew it'd get under their skin and likely ruin any deal.

And the next CEO are... The Donuts! 😅
Can you please upload the clip when they first enter sophies room and kendall starts making the pitch and Con comes into the room and goes “hey dad’s looking for you two” and shiv’s trying to keep up the whole “we’re here on his behalf”
I'm a national figure, it's not right to kill one's father hahahahaha
It was Greg who sent the doughnuts ...
Beginning of Season 03
Gerri to Roman: ,,Stick with me, Roman, We have something going..'' and he does.
The end of Season 03
Roman begging Gerri to be on his side, but she refuses because ,,it doesn't serve my interest.''
When man is guided by d*ck but woman by rationality. :D
Watching Succession now and am through S3E2. This is the best scene so far, along with the boardroom and final scenes in Season 1.
Kendall with that Jay Z reference 😭😭😭😂😂😂😂
logan knew what he was doing sending the donuts
After watching the movie “flowers in the attic.” How some elders in family’s must have entitlement. Yes they will poison their children’s food.
Hi from the future. So a lot happened, and Kendall got what he wanted.
The way Roman is such a baby 🥺
he’s like 25
I think he's wayyyy older than 25. I think he's 35ish
@@comedownmachine4682 Are you like 12 years old to think Roman is 25? Or are you implying because he's "25" he should be acting like a baby because he's younger? I don't get it.
@@SimpleSockactually he looks like early thirty im 22 im looks like 30😂
@@kendallroyclips His real age 37 38 but looks like early thirty
Kendall's ego will eventually be the cause of his downfall.
I feel like Kendall has been having a down fall since season 1
@@jmalott96 when Logan said to Kendall ‘that was your best shot,’ in season 1, I think that was actually the case. He’s tried again since then but that was the closest he got. After watching season3, I dont think any of them will ‘win’ the company. But that’s not necessarily a bad outcome- Logan doesn’t seem particularly happy tbh
They had it coming
Another scene where Logan puts people into check without getting out of second gear - one of the great TV villains
Newcomer here... Binged the series over the past month and i gotta say the actor that plays Kendall does a fantastic job because i find myself wanting to punch him sooooo often. The constant usage of words like "bro" "woke" "homie" make him insufferable. Even so i find myself rooting for him... He just needs to grow up and stop caring so much about whether people/social media and his dad likes him...I cant ever root for Shiv just because of how she does Tom (as pathetic as he is)
I feel the same bro
i felt bad for connor
I like that the show made us feel sorry for Kendall in season 2 then flip our judgement this season and keep all characters as ambigous. They're not suddenly turned into a decent person who cares about other people. Kendall didn't plan the coup well, he was acting in the heat of a moment like he always did. Connor seem like the sane one here 😀
I'm not on anyones's team. Seriously i can't sided with this f-up people, but damn is it so fun to watch them. Don't get too attached guys, don't stress yourself out just watch the show as an outsider who sees a media mogul family is about to be doomed.
This is the right way to consume Succession to be honest
Best way to watch this show tbh
Boom, the shareholder meeting ep is such a fuck up it's beautiful
Gerri sends the Donuts no Logan
Poor frigging Jess having to deal with Kendall should be double the pay.
In this episode i completely and finally understood why Rava left kendall..he just never cared about her or his children ..
kendall has always been the most like his father; not that it's a good thing, but you know...
Relevant Donuts would be a sick band name
Those F-ing donuts
Kendall is the same brand of narcissist as Logan. His motivations are just different. Granted, Logan *made* Kendall that way, but the point still stands.
I wonder how many of them are reconsidering after FBI raid?
Best show ever 🎬📺
Beware the box of Donuts , and I'm not saying it to be sarcastic, I'm saying it in fear
Ironically, Kendall assumes the donuts have spooked his siblings into dropping out. When in reality, they have scared him into a panicked state that cause the outbursts against Shiv and Connor.
The series is going to end with Kendall being as ruthless as his father. You can see him slowly becoming just like him.
Have u finished season 3?? They show many times how Kendall can't be as ruthless and horrible as Logan, that's why he fails
He isn’t like his dad though. He cares about other people and actually feels guilt for his actions because some of those actions have hurt others’ feelings and even killed a kid because he was high on drugs while driving
Oh, no no no, these are relevant donuts! Hahaha
Why did Roman laugh when Shiv said I'm with Dad?
Because he didn’t believe I think
Kendall wants to act like he's a good guy but in episode 4, when tom tried to tell him what was up, Ken said his dad loves the employees that eat shit for him. He knew what was happening and did nothing. He doesn't care about the victims or doing the right thing, he just wants to be the guy in charge and if you're not with him, well time to burn that bridge like he's Logan
After episode 9 shiv regrets rejecting Kendall's offer
yeah they all do it’s crazy how much of want kendall has been talking about came true
1:57 😂😂😂😂😂
And if they had listened to Kendall and joined him here they wouldn't have found themselves out of an inheritance at the end. Karma is a bitch. I just wish Kendall had decided to divest his interests sooner. He would have been laughing at all of them with his cool 4 bil
Amazing scene. Any interest in uploading the Greg-lawyer scene?
hey, glad you like it ! just uploaded it, you can find it here : ruclips.net/video/vGI9kGsS0Us/видео.html
cheers
After all of this idk how people don't consider him a better person than others, the thing is they're all somehow morally corrupt but at least ken has compassion and at least he's not a coward to speak up against his dad
He doesn't have compassion, he says himself in this episode that he's know about cruises for years. He doesn't actually care about the victims. He only spoke up cause Logan was gonna send him the jail. The second things don't go his way, he's the same bully that Logan is
Who brought the donuts, Connor or Logan?
Logan sent it to put fear in them🌚
I'm leaning Tom. Seems like he's ready to start making moves this season, he's one of the only ones who knew the Roy kids were meeting and he knew it'd get under their skin and likely ruin any deal.
@@SimpleSock no later in the episode shiv and Logan talk about the doughnuts...
So it's Logan only for real, or someone else by his order🤷♂️
Tom
@@philothefabulous probably tom told him? I don't remember that season very well, but he DID tell Logan about their coup in the 3rd season.
scenes like this I´m so glad Kendall end up the way he did 😁
acting like Shiv or Roman weren't way worse than him lol
Does anyone else feel like season 3 felt like a divorce battle between Kendall and Logan? Kendall trying to win over the kids...
best way to describe it
1- Greg will come out on top as ceo
2- Tom will join sides with kendell
3- Logan will somehow come up back on top
My season 3 predictions
Greg will one day rule the world as King Egg The First.
In this moment I wanted to know why they chose Logan.
And then by the end of season 3....
Big mistake, HUGE.
I can definitely tell that none of you have dealt with a nparent. lol of course ur taking up for the other two.
🍩
Shiv was jealous of Kendall
these are irrelevant donuts
Kendall is just as abusive as his father.
God, Shiv is the most morally bankrupt character on this show. At least Logan is straight-up evil, but Shiv will destroy anyone and anything for her daddy to love her. Same with Roman, except at least he seems to care about Gerri. Unfortunately, Gerri doesn't really care about him.
Ramon was an idiot for starting that relationship with Gerri.
