dangit my adhd kicks in so hard like i came on ur channel because im doing my final year dissertation on physics neural networks and now im watching your video on adhd. this is such relatable content for me and im so happy to have role models like you
When I was in high school I had a neural network hyper fixation and fell in love with your channel, now I’m figuring out my own AuDHD situation in college and your videos have been so helpful once again!
Here is one odd peculiarity that seem to be working for me: be mega specific when it comes to describing your task to your own self. Not "clean the home" but "get up, walk to the closet, take the vacuum out, and bring it to the electric outlet and plug it in" You do not have to describe all the routine, but this method makes it easy to start, and once I've started - it is fairly easy to finish. Yes, I write it all to my Habitica app, or in the past - into my paper day tracker.
I wish one day companies will be more acceptant to neurodivergence, I also sometimes need to take a walk or maybe play a lil guitar for a few minutes to clear my mind and being productive once again, its partially why I progress soo much more doing my thesys than at work. But on the way companies are nowadays I cannot opt to have a desk I can have a treadmill underneath, or even dare to step out of the regular "coffee and back" path in the office or I would get judging looks. It came even to a point when I was not sure if programiing was really a things for me because its really uncomfortable for me to be sitting down for more than 2h straight and because I was getting my eyes fatigued out of looking at a screen for 6h straight (even on dark mode). Thankfully I got a remote job now and I more often than they know get up and walk around to get my creativity going again, and they will never know that.
I turn off notifications/ curate the ones I want on. I also don't put every messaging app (e.g. Slack) on every computer I have. Idk how ppl do standing desks/ other desk mobility devices. Moving while working ain't it for me lol. If never get anything done, or I'd fall asleep.
Maeng Da kratom has been a literal godsend if you’re looking for a legal alternative to adhd meds . it’s helped me so much highly recommend for focus and energy throughout the day

Hey, I'm also working on Physics informed Neural networks. I mean, I have just started. Do you have some materials on it which can be helpful?
Meal timers have been a lifesaver - especially combined with keeping grab & go snacks like peanut butter crackers and fruit in my home
