To everyone who already finish this quest. The whole quest is actually an Elaborate scheme just to drag 1 person into his trap. And all NPC including US (the traveller) just a "tool" from "a disposable Pawn" to drag one "knight" into trap until the "queen" finish her move.

I think you should watch some RUclips lore sections if this interests you. Unless you’re new then just enjoy the story until you get there. Caribert is another precious Npc. No kheanriah like Npc just like in the chasm where Dain lost his old friend
