Overall, that quest is a Liyue quest since 1, it happened there, 2, ut included mostly Liyue characters (Yanfei, Xiao, and Yelan), 3, Zhongli got involved in the quest.
Sumeru was BY FAR the best. You could feel Nahida’s emotions, and the second she erased Rukkhedevata… she forgot everything. The “We just saved the world, right? So… why am I crying?” Was the freaking cherry on top. To think that Nahida was already confused about how to rule the region at first, and she was even more confused when she didn’t remember her greatest idol. I can’t imagine having to live through regret, grief, sadness, anger, and on top of it all, confusion about why you feel that way would be insane. I ACTUALLY cried. Fontaine is a close second, though. Everyone was so ecstatic that the prophecy was wrong, but Furina is purely bewildered at the sight of the region that she though she failed to protect was saved nonetheless… you can hear it. The difference is insane. The sailor guy was like, “THE PROPHECY WAS WRONG!” Out of pure happiness, and he didn’t question it at all. Furina didn’t feel like it was real, in her “The prophecy… was wrong…?”
The Liyue Archon quest is one that ill never forget. From Shenhe nearly sacrificing herself to Yunjin’s singing. But far my favoruite region and favoruite quest
