@micalishis - I get this question a lot. Here's the answer! I've been collecting stuff for 10 years. My Aurora Hammond organ was $250 on craigslist. The upright piano that I'm playing in this video was $50 dollars on craigslist. My drum kit was pieced together from Ebay, craigslist, and unwanted stuff from guitar center. Yes, I have a lot of stuff, but I didn't get it all at once, and i look for good deals. Buy two things a year for ten years, and eventually you have 20 awesome things.

Hi Jack, I've had clinical depression for over 20 years. The last few Years have been the most difficult as I rarely leave My house or socialize with friends. but a few days ago I suddenly started to feel hope again and the urge to start living life again. I can't put My finger on what has changed and I really don't care, what's important is I'm starting to feel happy again. This song has haunted me for YEARS. Every time I listen to it I feel chills down my spine.
The production is absolutely amazing. The arrangement is really interesting on many levels. A true genius.
The only bad spot is the audio recording which echoes a bit for the solo singing parts.

Jack, you're a huge inspiration to creative musicians such as myself. Too often I find myself stuck and as a result I let too many great ideas go stale. It's partly because I hardly have any gear (not a huge deal) but mostly because I just don't MAKE time to be creative. Seeing your vids and hearing your music is just awesome. @NeutralNewt - yessir. i wanted the verse vocals to sound distant and roomy and i wanted the chorus vox to sound close and full. the effect would have been more pronounced, except that in the end, i chose to add reverb to the chorus vox because i felt like the chorus needed to be washy and huge. it kind of counter-acts my original intention of moving closer then further away, but i had to go with it because it's what i wanted to hear.
