One morning, I woke from a very specific dream. I texted Kris Night to see if it was possible to make that dream into a video for "Under The Willow". This is what came of it. I am posting this on what would be my father's (The Elephant's) birthday. The degree to which I resemble him in some of these sequences is rather uncanny and the concept is fitting, So I thought it might be a fitting memorial.

I come from the future! It is Tuesday, November 24, 2020. After watching the animatic by double0doodles, I truly fell in love with your music. I decided to come over and listen to more, and here we are! I do hope you continue to sing. You have the most wonderful voice I've ever heard. It's a shame people only listened to Peace, and never listened to anything else. It bothers me when they only stick around because of something else, instead of staying to admire work.

I discovered this channel back in November but never commented until now. Decided to comment on UTW since it's my favorite, next to Godspeed, WotW, and Grind My Bones. Though if I must be honest, I think the fact there's this old railroad that goes through the forest by my house in Norwich with a bridge just like that adds to my love of the song, heh.
Such a diverse music style. Mercy Down (which I admit is a bit too political for my tastes), UTW, Devil's and Rebels... If there was a cover for each sang by different people, you'd have no idea they were made by the same guy! Unfortunate that you don't have much of a following, but I suppose that's what a lack of standardization does.

Okay didn't see any one else say this so here it goes
I interpreted this song as a man is under a willow tree and hears thunder, and indicator of lighting. The tree is struck with lighting and he dieds. He sees a wise man which is some sort of afterlife vision or deity. The whole song is basically him talking/thinking about his family and loved ones. Also this means this is awfully sad because he believes he can still be redeem even though he is dead.
