@@smokehill7912 I’m sure the weed doesn’t hurt, but Stef seems like a pretty modest dude who’s just grateful to be making a living doing what he loves.
Purchased one of these and was so impressed I purchased a second shortly thereafter. The quality of these instruments at this price point is insane. I cannot find a flaw on either of them. ESP is killing it this year!
@@JamminWithJer There’s a green one in Mint condition for sale on Reverb right now for $899. Figured I’d let you know in case you were looking to scoop one up.
Aesthetically, the best guitar ever. Not too flashy, not too plain. They need to make more like this. Not every guitar has to have a flamed/quilted maple or some other “exotic” veneer glued on. Single color, clear enough to see the wood grain, string through body, correctly oriented headstock.
I have one of these and the only complaint I have is that it's a pain in the ass to push a string through the body and out through the bridge when I'm changing strings. It's like the tip of the string gets hung up on something about halfway through the body.
I just sold an original ESP version over the summer, I have slight regrets but I am a PRS player and the ESP was a little too metal looking for me. maybe someday I can get one of these bad boys on the cheapy cheap
Because it's the 20th anniversary recreation of his first ESP signature model from 1998, which had this pickup configuration. That's also why it's a 6-string... it predates the time when Stef got into 7- and 8-string models.
How can you suck but be so damn great? Well, ask Stephan!!!Btw..sick toned down weirdness riffs and influential in his own way.He dont claim to be a shredder..cuz...lol..he ain't!!!But he is just a flavour in the music industry..doing stuff right and keeping it real..while smoking a few fattys!!!
Amazing this guy has had a career in music this long and is still the nicest, most down to Earth guy ever. That's how it's done kids
its the weed

Yea, down to the flat earth xDDDDDD, you just can't hate stef
Love his approach to playing, doesn't want to get technical with it, he just loves those chunky rhythms.
My favorite lazy guitar player ever. 20 years...my god I need to grow up.
Love that they honored Stephen with a 20th anniversary model. Love the green too! Proud to see Sac represented on the world stage!
Hit me up if you ever want to jam, I’m in the area :)

Just got the 20th anniversary sunburst version. Wish they still sold the see through green, but it’s a beauty!

"but I'm not. I need: dugga-dun. right there." lol, I literally couldn't explain it any better than that.
I've been wanting that guitar for 20 years ... and still out of my price range.
Greg Gaspard American music supply has it on 12 payments of $72! I finally bought one myself!!
Beautiful guitar man, one of my all time favorites

I'm all about the digga doom
Stef playing a 6 string?
He played them through White Pony.
wish i could get this green baby in a 7 string
Make the ESP version
🎶
Is this a baritone 6 string? The neck length looks longer than the usual 25.5 inch or whatever it is.
I'm actually a fan of the guitars with the single bridge humbucker and just a volume knob. Just your basic meat and potatoes.
But why does it have a Duncan when he's with Fishman? And why on earth does it have ESP Designed pickups too??...

Ok, thanks for clearing that up :-)
