I bought ANOTHER Stephen Carpenter SC607 sunburst guitar ('03-'06 model). This one is even better!

First off, apologies for this: I meant "St-eh-phen" not "St-eev-en" Carpenter!
My history and fascination with the SC607 rare sunburst finish guitar from my formative years as a young guitar player, and the impact Deftones had on me. All that good stuff.
Probably just going to be interesting to the Deftones fans out there.

Maan, similiar story as yours hehe. My first 6string is the same :D then i was chasin fot 607b and now i had 608b, fuckin love deftones, try to learn every song hahah.

I just sold mine last month 650€ with ESP case. Could never play it, my fretting hand wrist would always hurt due to the wideness of the neck. Hope you like it :)

Nice one dude! How’s the tension on it? It’s the prettiest stef model you can get but too bad they didn’t make it baritone like the 607b.
Ps: Childhood dreams completed too. Found a JMP1 and a 9200 and 1960b to play my stef models through! :)

The second one doesn't have a fade where it's fretboard ends so it is more alike like a one on a photo

The old one’s finish is just weird as hell. Especially at the end of fretboard. I think it was either a refin or fake, idk. Anyway, I fkn love my ESP Stef B8
