- "The Way" by Fastball, an acoustic cover by Mike Massé feat. François-Olivier Doyon and Michel Landry, performed live at Le Capitole Theatre in Quebec City on October 30th, 2021. Beautiful city and a great crowd. I really enjoyed my first trip to Quebec City.
Mike Massé: Vocals, guitar
François-Olivier Doyon: Bass
Michel Landry: Cajon, backing vocals
François and Michel did a great job all night sitting in. We had no rehearsal, but they did a great job following my crazy tempos and arrangements. Michel only signed on to play along the day before, so he had little prep time.
Thanks to Bruno Lachance and Marie-Claude Charron from Les Productions Scène Finale for filming and editing the video for the show. Thanks to Yan Tremblay for arranging the performance and the recording.
The audio is how I received it, including the guitar being panned a bit off-center to the right, and the vocals having moments of additional ambience/reverb that seems to come and go a bit randomly at times. This was the stereo feed, plus a bit of audience mixed in. The audio has not been edited in any way.
