I met Greg while asking people to sing in the 14th street/8th avenue subway in NYC. At first I was taking a quick snack break while my team member changed the batteries. Then, I'm told that a gentleman in a blue shirt wants to sing. So I quickly finish my snack and pick up the guitar. We pick a song, and Greg puts on the most energetic performance I have seen in a while!

Greg resides in Silverthorne, CO (near Denver) and was just visiting NYC.
As a musician, I'm all about creating musical experiences that have people feeling happy and free, and that's why the "Sing With Me" series exists. Since 2018, I have asked thousands of random people to sing with me on camera. A lot of people have said no, some have said no initially but changed their minds to yes, and some have said yes right away. I ask these people to sing with one purpose: to create a way for them to experience a sense of happiness and freedom they did not feel before. And much of the time, this actually works (and that makes ME happy).

I can't thank you all enough for the kind and encouraging comments. I am truly grateful for the outpouring of support ya'll have given me. Special Thanks to Emerald M. for encouraging me and convincing me to sing with Reggie. Such a positive experience and community he has curated. I'm proud to be a part of it.

This dude has been perfecting this song in his car on the way to work for the past 30 years and finally got to put it to the test, bravo 😂🎉
😆
This actually made me laugh, I could visualize an episode of the office.
Truly an inspiring version of that ´Creep’, maybe better than the brilliant original , honestly❤
I have a song list that I practice in the car so that I don't make such a huge ass of myself at karaoke
Right he was so ready lol
He was just passing by, a normal looking guy, when suddenly for a few minutes he changed into a beast, and then came back to normal and disappeared. As a human, I find the whole scene beautiful
Wow, neat human thought
What a chad this guitarist is, bringing all this skill just to let someone else be the star for a few minutes. Respect.

He is a cutie and has great arms.
Dude had some balls to completely belt it out without hesitation and I'm glad he did.
Right?! 👍👍❤️✌️

DAMN!!!!!!!
The way he pulled it off made me feel like he's so talented and knows the song very well. Just a lil uncomfortable in the second belt maybe a litle unprepared but overall, it was so good to be a non-singer's performance.
this dude look like the type of man that gave up on his dream to be a rockstar, so he would have a regular job and build a family, but deep inside he knows that THIS is what he should be doing all this time. Such an amazing performance, he sung every word and every note as if it meant a lot to him.
he just needs the right encouragement and doors to open... this guy could be a legend with the right guidance.
Need this as a new movie starring Jason Bateman
That's exactly what I thought. And the fact that his partner/friend encouraged him to sing is the perfect start up to rebuilding that dream
You never know if he can write his own music though, many good singers don't know how to do this
Sometimes that's all it takes.
When my man started loosening that top shirt button I said oh'shit something fixing to go down! YOU ROCK!!!!!
lol yup
lol 😂thinking the same thing I smiled during this whole video lol
He sang the hell out of that song! I am so impressed. NYC stand up!

God bless you and God bless anyone reading this! Hope you have an awesome day! Seek him while you can! Jesus is the way and the only way and he is returning soon! Whenever you think you aren't loved... Remember the ultimate sacrifice was for love! ENDING YOUR LIFE IS NEVER THE ANSWER!

John 3:16 KJV
The wages of sin is death (hell) but Jesus paid our debt on the cross, for our salvation! We must turn to God and away from our sinful ways, Confess Jesus is Lord and believe with our hearts that he was risen from the dead by God, and we must be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and The Holy Spirit and live by His word and Commandments! By far the best singer Reggie has had on. He was unreal.
As the song progressed, he started remembering his rebellious years and let it all go. He was waiting for this day.
You could see the "fuck it" moment in his eyes when he grabbed his collar.
When he unbuttoned that top button you just knew he was about to kill it
You can for sure tell. It was amazing though.
He gave me goosebumps!!!

So annoying that this was 2 years ago and Greg hasn't put out an album or posted any songs or made all his 19 million fans ecstatic. Greg, I really hope you are still reading comments as they won't stop because you are truly gifted and have all the qualities audiences yearn for: a gorgeous voice that deftly dances in soft and raw soaring heights of emotion....one of your friends said you sang at his wedding, I need to get married, I think that's the best plan for everybody! :) Greg, I hope you put out some new tunes, we all ADORE you!
Thank you for such kind and encouraging words. I have been honored to sing at several of my friends' weddings. I was really close to putting a video out in February, but I crashed into a tree snowboarding (ending my season). That halted all the momentum that I had been building up for music. I'm on the mend physically and have been working to get my mental health back to a state where I feel comfortable putting myself out there. I'm almost there. Sending you positive thoughts from the mountains.
Aw I am so sorry to hear that!😱😥 I wish you a quick recovery. Just know that I was looking originally for someone who was popular on this channel and you have more popularity than actual mega stars. I hope you can take your popularity and use it to build yourself back up. Just put up a RUclips channel and upload some tunes. One at a time. It will build and build and I am sure you will find yourself gaining lots of followers. We are all rooting for you and we really want to hear you sing, this is your true calling in my opinion. ❤
Sending you well wishes from the UK, I hope your physical recovery continues going well and equally with your mental health (im going through a recovery of both currently also, hence 1am music youtube videos at 1am when sleep is hard), if you do decide to release anything ever whether that's covers or something of your own I will be so thrilled to listen, this is one of my favourite songs and I absolutely loved your version , keep on going remember healing isn't always linear and there can be blips but we'll get there

I keep coming back to this because Greg absolutely kills it, but Reggie being able to know the cords and play all these different songs he does including knowing when songs need a little extra is equally talented.

I certainly won't be convinced he hasn't had a coach. Dude's voice is outstanding.
Pretty sure he IS a coach lmao
@@tonyweiner489 he said he wasn't a pro though
Some people have naturally incredible voices. I've known a few people who can sing like this without having had formal training.
@@Alex-js5lg I respectfully disagree in this case. Yes, some people have natural aptitude for singing, but this guy is using very specific bel canto techniques. Not at a professional level, granted, but he definitely has had some exposure to classical training. Pay attention to his pronunciation of certain sounds like "-ee," "-al," and "r" sounds and how he deliberately morphs the pronunciations to a "ə" sound to keep his soft palate open. That kind of thing isn't something any human will ever do naturally.
Well he said he doesn't sing professionally not that he didn't have training. I don't know in America, but here in Italy a professional musician is someone whose main activity and source of income is music.
I agree with you that he shows great technique and I'm also convinced like you that he is very talented AND trained.
This is my absolute favourite version of this song. Thank you.
Good heavens! Blew the socks off from my favorite song!!!!
That guy owned his version of creep. He put a little of opera, grisp, cool, smooth, power and sweetness in specific areas of the song with great control and natural vocal position. Really great performance!

@@DainelleSpeaksTv I liked Dalton's version, he has an amazing voice but it didn't portae as much emotion as Greg did here in my opinion. Going to check Dalton's catalogue though.
@@DainelleSpeaksTv I've heard it. I think he has a beautiful voice but I didn't like his rendition. Creep isn't a Pop song.....lol
Daniel Harris has a full sound track or band or whatever they use I don’t watch it enough to know but this was just with a guitar. This is excellent.
After listening to all the good renditions I can think of, this is definitely the best one. No one has actually done it like this. That Dalton dude's rendition was a pretty good exhibition of vocal range but it was a bad rendition of the song. It wasn't emotional at all. It was changing a song up completely and not even finishing it just to flutter a bunch of crowd pleasing high notes. It's the particular notes and the way they were delivered in the original song which make it stand out. What basically made an original live version popular for being so emotionally sung, this Greg guy ended up doing it but much better because he somehow had to really reach into his voice box to pull out those long notes on "run" for example.
To me it's like a pop star singing a national anthem and then twisting it all around and changing it up just to add a bunch of extra range in the notes. It would sound better to me if someone just sang the ever loving shit out of the song as it was originally. If they can manage to do a little of both it can also be amazing.
@@Magneticitist spot on. Very well stated and I completely agree with every word.
Greg has probably heard this song at least thousands of times and gets all the little intricacies in vocal inflection and timing. He might not be a professional singer, but he knows the song in and out, and when he performs, it's magic. Godspeed Greg
He sings it nothing like the original tho. So i dont think that is true.
@@Demsteg it’s like a cover, I don’t think he was trying to go for the original
I beg to differ. This guy has some serious pipes and he put his own *stank* on it blasting those rifts and notes. And, also there are people who are gifted enough to hear a song once or twice and then turn around and embrace and deliver every note - pitch perfect. But if your comment fulfills your need to minimize this guy's talent, more power to you. I have to respect your opinion.
Greg probably, as a teenager, sang in a local band in his neighborhood or school, hence the experience and skill. In terms of age, he fits into the golden, grunge generation and the time when the song he sang was written.
I totally loved it it was awesome and what you are saying is awesome to thank you

@@sebastianlindon8992 Lmao yourself, He knew the guitar chords off the top of his head 3:00
@@pilotdog68 Yeah, it means he knew the song, doesn't have any effect on his singing ability. I know the chords too and couldn't sing that anywhere near as well as he did
OMG that blew me away…the power in his voice. I think he could give Freddie Mercury a run for his money…Outstanding. I like to hear more from him.
Хорошо исполнил чертяга. Просто огонь !
This is literally the best version of Creep I’ve ever heard
Prince?
Northern Kings 🇫🇮🤘🤘🇫🇮
Mike Masse
Look up Tom Ball and Justin Crump from Got Talent. You'll be surprised.
Vincent from the four. INCREDIBLE
I feel so sorry for all the people that just walked past.
The emotion packed into this is so intense, I wouldn't dare miss it live.
Crazy stuff.
Sims, man 😢
I know, right.
Maybe some people just can't be late ?
I would have walked past from all the cringe
@@kpacny1 - Thank God no one knows what you're talking about.
Creep guy soooooooo amazing. Such great raw entertainment.
Need to hear more of this man he's brilliant
That voice coming out of someone looking like he’ll approve my mortgage or not is a different kind of experience. I hope Greg gets to sing more songs in his free time.
LOL. I just went over your application Emily...You are approved! I, too, hope for more time to pursue music. Making some changes in my life to allow for that.
Haha it's like "sure Greg I'll hear you sing, but first can you advise me on my property portfolio?"
@@paulharper4196 😂 That's a good one..
@@GregoryAdamisin you’re a beast!!!!!
@@GregoryAdamisin I see you don't have any videos of your own yet on RUclips. This is a good time to get started, you will be famous with that voice man
Classically trained voices always stand out. That steady vibrato and breath control. He should be a professional or a band somewhere. This dude got pipes and can carry with minimal effort. We need more of these singers today.
Where could we learn to sing like that?
@@bennyl7224 Get classical vocal training
He could've also just trained and sing alone. That's me. Wasting my parents money since I'm a child only to sing to empty walls. Yaaaaas.
@@GoToMan not entirely necessary. With singing they are there more to help you figure out what you're doing wrong but they're not in your body and everyone's muscles, mouth and vocal chords don't work the same so they can only steer you in a direction that may correct your issues. You literally have to be your own teacher when it comes to singing because it's so unique to each person.
@@MrMeeseeksthe1st Of course but Dunning Kruger theorem plays a huge role here. People don’t have the expertise to judge themselves.
Totally blown away....AMAZ8NG!! ❤❤
WOW! Such a talented man!!!! He could become a superstar if he wanted to.
The emotion he puts behind it is just WOW! Especially when he belts the run part. I was so impressed with his emotional vulnerability. This song requires it to really hit home.
I had a feeling it was coming from experience…. Some possible rejection…
Extremely hot now though, wow.
Que lindooooo!❤
He started singing, and I was thinking "what's with all the comments? He's solid enough, can carry a tune, but..."
And then he hit the second verse, and went into the stratosphere. Holy crap.
Bro covered an entire octave with one note
Your videos are fucking amazing I am a sissy crying to see people happy in this sad world thanks
God I wish I had confidence like that. Amazing job!
as a classically trained singer, that dude has the technique and control of a classically trained singer. that performance was off the cuff but it sounded and looked so controlled and methodically crafted. it's like something you achieve after hours and hours in a practice room. awesome.
Also classically trained. I can only say ditto. He had me at the mic check. I just knew he had command of what was about to happen.
I'm not trained in any way, I just like musicals, but he sounds like he has a great voice for a stage musical.
I’m also classically trained, shower division and I have never been able to hit those notes. Not even when I turn the hot water all the way 👏👏 incredible voice
@@riogc3257 “shower division” 🤣 I love it!
@@ox0cherrybomb0xo Definitely agree.
Legend has is that Greg's voice is so powerful the mic wasn't even turned on after their little snack break. I REALLY WANT TO HEAR GREG SING WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS BECAUSE I KNOW HE WOULD KILL IT!!!!!!!!!
Yeah damn.
Ya
He’s got control
Absolutely Agree with you! I'd love to hear him sing it too! One of my favorites too! Great voice!!!
His voice never cracked either
Good call!
You need to go, professional! You have an amazing voice and stage presence.
