I mean maybe he has, but I am not a fool, this is suspicious :D nothing to take away from the performance, but I think this videos are a mix of genuine encounters and pre arranged ones.

Nollaig hit a really soft spot inside my brain! I found this video yesterday and I’ve come back at least 5 times since and I get tears each time!!! Thank you Reginald for making interactions like this possible and thanks for sharing them!! ❤
I’m sensing that this beautiful songbird is carrying emotional scars, which is exactly why she should keep singing and putting it out there! I hope she realizes that her voice expressing the right lyrics could help herself and others heal. Thirties is Still Plenty Young! Lol at how Reggie had to keep coaxing her to talk about herself a bit and give the audience backstory. She seemed torn between being polite/accommodating and signalling “Let’s get on with the song already!“
Bravo! This song makes grown men cry and she nailed it. The Irish accent is so wonderful. Nollaig, if you are reading this, DO NOT STOP singing, WE NEED MORE OF YOU!

@@darrylkassle361 it requires years of practice and devotion to the art. I have a guitar but will never have the time or talent to do this. Much of it is building an awareness of chords, typical progressions, learning your scales, etc. I think if you dig in with serious intent, and devote a lot of time to learn, you finally get there. But you have to be serious about it. To start, just learn a single tune. Then another, and another. And so on. Eventually, you build up a repertoire. And with that, you begin to learn how to interpolate, extend, ad lib and so forth. The best part about this guy is that it comes along with a charismatic personality and humility.
Everybody talks about how good the random singers are and I agreed almost all were great but how about this guy with the guitar..he can literally play a song after few notes of hearing them for the 1st time..that is amazing my friend..you bring smiles n happiness..👍🌿🙏

@@pt.antonio Watched more of her and I feel like in the context of the show wasnt for her, it made her more nervous. She sounds better in this video then she did on The Voice.
@@LeeDeeThe1 I think you're right. She seems to have an introverted and shy personality and the show forced her out of her comfort zone. I still think it might have been a good learning experience, since it helped her realize the show business probably wasn't for her. Being a singer is more than simply having a good voice and even in this performance you can see she's a bit uncomfortable being the center of attention. Nevertheless, I don't think the show made her feel she wasn't good enough, simply that singing in front of millions of people maybe wasn't for her.

P.s. my daughter has mental issues and music is one of the few things that helps her lives peacefully.
This brought a tear to my eye. Everyone who is a fan of Dolores O'Riordan misses her voice and spirit and mourns her. Grateful to have heard Nollaig O'Connor sing this.
I always wonder what new music she would have made, if she hadn’t left us….breaks my ❤ bc I adored her so being of Irish heritage & with the way her voice and this song reach every cell of one’s heart…especially mine!
RIP dear soul Dolores O’Riordan 💔
Nollaig, you arent alone. Tons of us are shy, and watching you do this inspired us.
Thank you for the bravery.
just do it and it will make you feel better go for it for real
I struggle so hard to open up and try to sing, even in private. But those few rare moments when I pour out my soul, I feel amazing. I wish I had her courage

She ain’t shy if she spontaneously sings on the side walk.
Wow NOLLAIG!! Her voice is so beautiful, she has no reason to be shy, you can tell she’s holding back and there’s no reason to. Please keep singing!! You have a gift thank you for sharing it ❤️ You can’t hide anymore, we love you and you sing beautiful!
The guy with the guitar is a walking definition of the word "altruism". I love the way he infuses confidence into the people he convinces to sing along with him. so cool ;)
So true. Watch his vids, it’s a consistent theme.
He’s a great dude 👌🏻😎
As if this is not pre-arranged/staged. It would be too much of a coincidence, having a pedal board handy with exactly that effect catered to the songs chorus? I mean maybe he has, but I am not a fool, this is suspicious :D nothing to take away from the performance, but I think this videos are a mix of genuine encounters and pre arranged ones.
Altruism? More like for the likes and clicks I think
@@ludomirsteinbruck9376 maybe you're right, but I still like to think of it as a genuine and spontaneous encounter...
Props to this man’s humility and this lady’s bravery and voice.

I don't know what happened, but when she started singing I started crying. I have never cried so spontaneously in my life. Amazing.
It is sad that this lady is so shy, she has an incredible voice, charm and shyness. I miss Dolores signing and her voice, but this lady gave me goose bumps with her voice and fragility and a tear for being as unique as she was 😪 Great artists will always be remembered no matter where they are or have been 😉
I agree so much
Goosebump, indeed.
+1
I don‘t see any shyness, she is so freaking cool and chilled
She brought tears to my eyes, I miss Dolores so much and just for a moment she brought her back to us 🥲
Nollaig O'Connor, your shy and yet so strong and passionate way of singing makes me cry. Please keep on sharing your talent with the world
Ttttt
I never liked this song...but now hearing her sing it, toned down a bit...it sounded so much clearer & more poignant for me...she did a great job...and it like it ! Now I have to listen to The Cranberries version again.
Nollaig hit a really soft spot inside my brain! I found this video yesterday and I’ve come back at least 5 times since and I get tears each time!!! Thank you Reginald for making interactions like this possible and thanks for sharing them!! ❤
beautiful
Wow…Goosebumps!!
The unmistakable sound of an Irish voice, signing an Irish anthem is just something else.
If the Irish girl reads this, please don't stop singing. Screw those people, you are great and I fell in love with your voice.

What a hauntingly beautiful voice. The Irish have this otherworldly quality to their singing.
We love to sing, more or less in our blood :)
Any Irish musicians I should listen to? ☺️
Its called keening, irish spirit wailing. Banshees would wail like this to express the suffering of a mothers dead children and warn others far away of the death. At least thats the mythology of it.
@@someonethatmakesvideos876 You can always tell when it's an Irish person singing. We make every song deeply personal and emotional, even bubblegum pop songs lol

That's a really tricky song to sing well and she nailed it from the get go. Brilliant. What a voice, that's a gift and a treasure. Thanks.
Goosebumps from the first note she sang, and throughout. And I'm cozy in front of a fireplace. She gave me chills. Amazing blessed gifted talented and humble proud Irish woman! I wish she had a RUclips channel. Her voice touches so many different emotions.
I feel the same Jessica. Such a nice energy she brings. A true gift.
How does he do this? People walk by, say no and then because of Reggie they come back and sing. What is doing is insane. Can not stop watching his videos. He loves everyone.
I hope she looks back at this some time and knows, her voice, her passion , and her strength would be making Deloris smile!! I hope she sings again, often and out loud so we can feel it again and again!
So much talent in the world!
Who better to echo the struggle of Ireland and carry the torch but someone from Dolores' home town? She sings it with the heart and soul that does it justice to her beautiful people.

She's amazing. To see a young woman with a genuinely beautiful voice say that she's shy is a reality check. You made this moment happen, thank you.
Just found this channel and I'm getting addicted by his personality and ability to spontaneously play chord progressions with such ease. This guy is an amazing talent.
Same here.. just found it a week ago and going thru all of Reggies content.
An Amazing human being too!
Me too between Bear Bailey and this dude I'm binging both.
I have asked someone else here to explain this by just come across your comment and thought you might have a better understanding so would you please explain how his able to just play anything requested.Remember ithat I know nothing about musicmusic . I should
@@darrylkassle361 it requires years of practice and devotion to the art.
Nollaig is just a lonely beautiful soul journeying in to this world seeking nothing but peace. Thank you guitaro for sharing this moment.
This version of Zombie gives me that nolstagic feeling. She's spot on.
Everybody talks about how good the random singers are and I agreed almost all were great but how about this guy with the guitar..he can literally play a song after few notes of hearing them for the 1st time..that is amazing my friend..you bring smiles n happiness..👍🌿🙏
This is one song that can only be sung with a voice of an angel this voice is one of those utterly superb
Her tone is so incredible!!! She has the type of voice that just makes you want to close your eyes and get lost. Beautiful! Raw and vulnerable.
All the show the Voice did was make her feel like she wasn't good enough , she sounded great and she shouldn't allow anyone to quiet her beautiful voice
I've just watched her audition and all the judges loved her and were incredibly supportive.
The voice is just a televised karaoke contest with judges. It's fucking drivel.
@@MolloyPolloy
Karaoke contest is exactly not what these kinda shows are, cause that would mean it's really about the singing.
Hearts pounding and hairs are standing. Its always a powerful song to hear, and she sang it beautifully.

Ms. O'Conner please in the name of "Dear Jesus"... keep singing.
Wow, I’m not an emotional person but hearing another Irish voice sing that song brought tears to my eyes!! I have never heard anyone else (imo) do that song justice. Thank you for sharing your voice with us Nollaig, if only for a brief few minutes.
Saw Delores sing at a concert and she was incredible. This has always been one of my favourite songs. Delores lived peaceful life in Canada prior to passing.

In 2024 this song is fitting for the turmoil and genocide going on in Gaza. 😢
Aww that really hit hard to hear someone with such a great voice that is so defensive about their beautiful talent because of how shy they get. I hope she keeps singing forever. At least her friends know how amazing she is, see how excited they are for her? lovely.

this one had me crying like a child. not only did she hit the notes she hit the mood of this timeless classic!
I understand her......I had GOOSEBUMPS when she sang. It's a gift. and the hesitancy was so real and complex. An artist has such a dichotomy to share the raw beauty, and yet also becomes so vulnerable to the world in that moment. It was such a victory for her that she sang. THANK-YOU dear Irish lassy.... we feel blessed by your blessing from God.
