This is an incredible excerpt of a talk given by Krishnamurti.
"The world doesn’t want you to think, it doesn’t want you to be free to find out, because then you would be a dangerous citizen, you would not fit into the established pattern. A free human being can never feel that they belong to any particular country, class, or type of thinking. Freedom means freedom at every level, right through.
So while you are young, it is very important to be free, not only at the conscious level, but also deep inside. You must be watchful of yourself, more and more aware of the influences which seek to control or dominate you. Always question, investigate and be in revolt."

Freedom from the known and the First and the last freedom are his thought provoking books.. Must read books!! In the video everything is explained in clear words
I'll definitely read these books.
Also read "The Awakening of intelligence" by J. krishnamurthy.
One more books is " Happy is one who is nothing".

Please do more of these. Krishnamurti was brilliant, but I find him difficult to listen to. Having it said clearly is easier to grasp.

It is not a matter of standing against some ideas or conditioning, but being aware of it. That is enough to detach from the conditioned mind. Learn to observe without being the ego itself.

I'd say this video did not bring in the whole context Jiddu would have. You are asking us to put effort to break away from this mold, which just creates a new one.One's who haven't read/understood Jiddu will be misleaded on that path.

Yup.
It is a bully who creates all the conspiracies. People take it from there thinking it is the truth... The final ends is allot of people get hurt. That is exactly what the bullies want. To feel like they are the one in power. A protection mechanism that ultimately leaves them tangled in the mess. A brilliant bully is trying to tell us we will have no power or freedom when the bullies take control. Time to grow up Bullies! Be good and there will be less tangles to unweave. Sometimes unconditional love needs a little conditioning. (Time for some olive oil, maybe a little coconut oil maybe?)
Please add Spanish subtitles. Or make a version in Spanish.
Young or old..we are " molded" or conditioned. The young have the added advantage of having more Time ahead of them...for "unmolding" themselves...from their conditionings..if they care to really re-consider or re-educate or even just question themselves ( and not only through gimmicks of today..ie.facebook..etc.)
The elders have the added advantage or value of understanding better what or wherefore they did this or that, wrong or right, in their past , and can thus become the wiser for it..if they care to be become more aware or honest with themselves...but true also..they still have the opportunity to grow and learn from their past...and like in traditional societies, possibly be more listened to, or simply respected more, for their experience ...if nothing else. But in any case..all generations are molded and since forever..even unknowingly so..and the trick is therefore to be more " knowing" about this mere fact already..and progressively..try to work it from there..as life moves on..to try to understand themselves better and more truly..and thus "unmold"..
It's certainly worth a try !(:)
But..watch out for "jeunisme"...the French language expression for "youth cultism"...
I mention this only because in this video..there seems to be an indication of " youth" versus " old"...and implying.." youth equals Hope"..whereas " old" would equal "no hope..and too late"..
A totally erroneous " divide" again...like all other forms of
"division" in human societies.

It's ironic that you stand out as an individual when you've finally let go of your individuality.
At the root is fear. Fear of the unknown.The afterlife and hell ; a conditioning tool,
or reincarnation where you might be reborn as a cockroach.
Man seeking security in this life but also in the after existence.
Thought is at the root and freedom comes when thought is not operating
because thought represents all your past. So go with a quiet mind.
To hell with all the judgements and comparisons you make walking down the street.
I think its very ageist to say that this conditioning only applies to old people.......it is just as strong in younger people.....in fact the young are easier to condition than the old hippies from the 60s....
Their conditioning have already been done. Have you noticed that these people hardly change their beliefs or that they change their way of thinking. It is not because they don't want to, but their "wiring" and their memories revolt against change.

Also what your saying in this video is a pattern how to be free but to be free there is no pattern and there is no one else to show you how to do it also only you but don't listen to me because also thats a pattern but as i see freedom dosen't exist only more understanding and that's make you feel like you are free when the truth is that all "is"
You only have to wacthing and listening without and movement of thought. And this will never be become a routine or a pattern.

Why to destroy such a beautiful JK talk by adding your voice? Such words are only sweet when heard from the person who experienced it or live by it. Otherwise, the words look empty.

Thank you for this beautiful video. When I stumbled upon this sharp soul years ago the videos were poor quality. Working to much to make time to read, I listened to the talks. I am so happy to see people digging this awakening. This revolt. And to see these beautiful and creative videos brings me joy.
