Hello Laura. Plan F is still available if someone was eligible for Medicare as of Jan 1, 2020 (e.g. someone born in 1954 or earlier.).

Iam 66 still working but in September 30th 2021 my insurance from my job will end due to retirement without health insurance benefits. Don't know which one is better for me, original medicare or advantage? I am very confused, also don't know when is the right to call social security office to join plan B on October. Thank you so much in advance for any advice.

Hello Irma. Thx for reaching out. You can start to enroll for your Medicare three months before the requested effective date. Thus you can start on July 1 for an October 1 effective date. We can guide you through the process, get you the necessary forms so there are no delays/penalties, and help you enroll in a Medicare plan as well. We can walk you through the differences with Advantage and Original Medicare as well. There is no fee to work with us. You can give us a call at 908-272-1970 and we would be happy to help!

Hi Jay, the Medicare Supplements vary based on a number of factors: age, zip code, sex, household discounts, and carrier. I will send you an email to see if we can get more info or you can call us at 908-272-1970.

Except you personally pay through FICA, and there are premiums and copays. Far from socialized healthcare.

@@tonyvalenti6614 Fixed premiums, fixed Dr.s fees, fixed services. All run by and hugely subsidized by the Federal government. It is the epitome of socialized medicine.

@@walterknox5953 Nope, sorry not when you also count the unearned interest on your FICA over 40 years. Welfare is a social program, not Medicare by far.
