You did see historia giving birth, she was only pregnant so they wouldn’t turn her into a titan
“Eren ain’t did nothing wrong”
-Mikassa, probably
Historia's pregnancy wasn't dropped, it was red herring, meant to make you think there were going for a different plan. Also shows that Historia is living without fear and in joy with the birthday stuff.
nah her story arc was a letdown. a random farmer really?
Farmer part was to showcase the banality and simple brutality that was risked by her being a pawn by virtues of how she was the rightful queen and most influential person on the island but when faced with annihilation she sought simplicity and something familiar instead of buckling to fear or destruction and as a ruler she had to pass her bloodline even if she didn’t want to
And eren had a special connection to all his friends and was willing to sacrifice everything but his friends
Historia went against everything to save him because she didn’t want to be a pawn and eren became a pawn for freedom because he refuse to sacrifice his friends
@tristanhogan6541 is it really that hard to just admit it was dropped?
@@philbox3productions yes because that would make me a liar sorry you were disappointed but lying is not how you handle it
@@biggestbullsfan8569 Her story arc was alright, but it served it purpose. You can think it was a letdown, but trying to make up reasons why and pretending like it was dropped or forgotten or whatever is just out right wrong.
If you really wanted to be in the spirit of Attack on Titan, this part 2 should've been released a year from now
and it then wouldn’t actually be the finale
I dont forgive annie but understood why they let it go. Everyone on the squad killed their own people and some of them killed noncombatants. So they feel they can't judge her.
Morality is a tricky thing because the violence done by a slave to break his chains should not equal a masters violence to keep him in them .
Thanks for sharing on the channel and for the great content 🎉
I need a trigun review in my life. 90s anime babeee
The whole point of Ymir/Historia was Ymir convincing her that she doesn't have to force her daughter to eat her.
Thank you, this parallel gets lost on so many viewers.
Bring back the normal podcast!!! Miss listening to you guys talk
Historias pregnancy was important only for Historia to not get turned into a Titan. Beyond that instead of completely dropping her, Isayama elected to use her pregnancy as a measuring stick essentially, showing how much time had passed after the events we see. The pregnancy itself was reincorporated instead of being dropped precisely because it wouldve been more awkward had it not been mentioned again
As for people huffing copium saying Historias arc was dropped, shes literally the Queen of Paradis, the leader of a hyper militarized radical state, and ends the show leading the peace talks with the World's Envoy (Armin, Jean, Connie, etc). If that isnt condidered a critical character, i dont knoe what is. Im glad they ended it alot more open ended, almost like the shoe actually wants you to think how thijgs might play out and hope for the best
One of the genius changes from the Manga is that the time before Paradis was destroyed is greatly increased, meaning that it is alot more apparent that the rumbling itself probably isnt the cause of destruction, or titans, but whatever state that followed the events we saw in the show
thank you for the extra content XD
17:00 I'm fine with the ending, but I definitely would've preferred at least two or even three main deaths in this final battle. I said it in the last video, it'd odd no one died considering this show got famous for killing its protagonist and then also pretty much most characters that got introduced for a while.
21:17 I understand that criticism about the characters. A lot of the characters are forgettable, or at least not that deep. I think that comes due to the world being so harsh. Characters just die all the time so its hard to build them up. Like Levi's original squad. We meet them, and boom they're dead in a couple of episodes. The only two characters that aren't super important to the story but still got some development are Connie and Jean. Other than them we have the main 3, Levi, Hange, Reiner, Anne, Zeke, and that's pretty much it. There's also Gaby, Falco, and Sasha, but they're (imo) meh...
Great job! Y’all should watch cyberpunk anime
Yall should review mad men
Biggest criticism I've seen is about the ending which is also unfair lol. There are also a lot of people who say it's pro genocide/ fascism... But most of those people haven't actually watched the show.
Bo the type to free the pigs
Season 2 of vinland saga is beautiful
Historias pregnancy seems weird but the part was to showcase the banality and simple brutality that was risked by her being a pawn by virtues of how she was the rightful queen and most influential person on the island but when faced with annihilation she sought simplicity and something familiar instead of buckling to fear or destruction and as a ruler she had to pass her bloodline even if she didn’t want to
And eren had a special connection to all his friends and was willing to sacrifice everything but his friends
Historia went against everything to save him because she didn’t want to be a pawn and eren became a pawn for freedom because he refuse to sacrifice his friends
Okay, but Loki S2 is worth the time. It’s my favorite out of ALL Marvel films/tv series 🙏
They needed Erwin desperately because their whole command structure fell apart. Neither Hanje nor Levi were able to strategize a way to do diplomacy with the outside world and it seemed like Hanje especially had cold feet. Armin also seemed too unsure of himself. While being a good successor to Erwin, it wasnt his time yet. So of all people i feel Erwin would have kept the command structure and been able to operate far better pilitically like they did in season 3 coup
Pilitically...
He died, it was for the best. What they needed was Eldian representation who were open to talking and negotiating with those from Paradis, instead of creating them to be boogeyman
@@AliDixon95 typos happen dude
@AliRizwanMasood that is for sure. I think this all falls back on what Marco said when Reiner commanded his death. They didn't even have a conversation about it. And I think in a lot of ways this is the downfall that leads to the cycle of violence. These political groups move through fear and through fear are able to commit these atrocities. But they never have conversations, they never communicate in a nuanced way. It's thought terminating patterns
@@MrRmmk1 I think that's why the ending worked alot better in the anime, with the extra pages. In the manga it really devalued everything in the original ending, but in the anime with such a massive amount of time passing between the main timeline and the destruction of Paradis, it clearly shows the Global Envoy (Armin, Jean, Connie, Reiner, etc) successfully negotiated with a hyper militarized nation of Paradis and averted both a war and a potential genocidal rage from both sides
i used to respect these reviews until GoT season 8, now i can see why i was right lol , just say you dont care enough to understand
Aaayyy🎉
Remember guys these are dudes that liked GOT season 8 lmao don’t take it seriously
The channel is dying boys. Time to hang it up and move on.
