46 minutes in and I have to say that Shirley Temple does such a great job of faking it...that she has me believing it totally. Can't wait to see what happens next. I love this movie-thank you! (I'm ok with cast changes because it works here).
When Shirley told Darryl that David Niven was 37 Darryl exclaimed, "Thirty-seven! That's almost as old as Jack Benny!" Loving the old radio shows as I do that was priceless! David Niven was a hoot in this too. Really enjoyed this sequel of sorts so thanks for uploading!
It may not be a true sequel to Kiss and Tell but I think it's vastly superior. Shirley Temple and David Niven were hilarious! Though this is not a romantic movie by any means, the couple were in only a few scenes together, they each played an over-the-top comedy act- Shirley Temple, or Corliss, faking amnesia and returning to her nine year old self playing on the floor, blowing bubbles, etc. and David Niven, with his sarcastic humor, were both beyond funny!!! If you like this one, you should also watch Happy Go Lovely, with Niven.
i wonder if Shirley was an enlightened being from another galaxy, sent to earth to bring, love, joy, happiness and peace to everyone? Makes you wonder!

She was still a bright-eyed teen in her personal life during the making of the first movie...in this one it's 4 years later...she was unhappily married and then divorced at a young age. She would meet Mr. Right and be happily married for life.. but it wasn't known to her at this point. When you see her much later after she had been happily married and had her children then did "The Shirley Temple Show" she seemed like herself again.
That box of candy is bad ass to bad they don't sell things like that anymore love the old movies. The banter the ladys hairstyle the way change clothes for different times of day back when a dollar ment something ect.ect.

Why is Mr Pringle suddenly Mr Archard, and why is Raymond all of a sudden Dexter? This is very confusing. Also, where is Mildered's baby, and where is Lenny? Well, at least the movie was funny.

I'm assuming this is part 2 I don't particular like Shirley Temple in this one. Kiss and Tell was MUCH better. The only movie of her as an adult that I actually liked!

According to Shirley's own book, after this film her own agency showed her the door telling her that they didn't need her any more now that that they had Elizabeth Taylor. Her agency also told her that she had no sex appeal. He later films neither lost or made money.
The movies that you saw of her when she was young were probably the colored version that were only made recently. The original ones were Black and Whites.

How come when she a kid, the movies were in color, and as a teenager, they're in black and white.... shouldn't it be the other way around!
The movies that you saw of her when she was young were probably the colored version that were only made recently. The original ones were Black and Whites.
For example, when you search Bright Eyes on Google, it says Black and White. But there is a colored version that you can find on RUclips.
