Sucks we couldn’t see more gown up shirley temple it’s disgusting how people couldn’t just accept the fact she was grown up and not a kid anymore
The black stereotype of this film is making me cry
This film was banned in Nazi Germany. Can't imagine why.
Love shirley
When Shirley told Darryl that David Niven was 37 Darryl exclaimed, "Thirty-seven! That's almost as old as Jack Benny!" Loving the old radio shows as I do that was priceless! David Niven was a hoot in this too. Really enjoyed this sequel of sorts so thanks for uploading!
love Jack Benny, too. 😍
Shirley Temple brilliant 🎉
This isn't realistic. Muslims have no respect for little girls or old men
"he didn't get by me, i got by him" XD
💖Wow Corliss was 🌟SHIRLEY TEMPLE 🌟She was a gifted Actress To think she walk away from Hollywood so young to be married, raise a family and go into politics Mrs Black.
Despite her talent people weren't going to her movies as she blossomed into a lovely woman so little return at the box office meant the studio wasn't going to continue making movies with her, unfortunately.
One of my favorites. I have this video
What an utterly bizarre film! Completely worth the watch for Miss Temple's performance. Thank you for posting!
LOL
Why was Mohammet Dihn thrown over the wall by his comrades?
Awwwee Little Shirley Was Such A Darling Those Guys Doing Gymnastics Was The Funniest
What a bunch of government clap trap propaganda.
Such a fantastic and beautiful film. I’m a classic Hollywood RUclipsr and I’m making a video on this film and John Ford films in general. Shirley Temple absolutely killed this role.
In Love With Warner Baxter ! This Great Movie , Parts of It, I Laughed Out !🤗😂😂
I think this was the last movie that Shirley Temple did not get first billing; after this she was the STAR of every movie she was in until the 40s.
Now he didn't get by me boss, I got by him!
Shirley temple is soo sweet ❤️❤️
Thanks for the upload.💜

A government department of amusement 🤣 It's such a North Korean idea I'm surprised T***p didn't start one alongside his Star Wars branch of the military 🤣🤣🤣
Everytime I hear the playing of Scotland the Brave I get chill bumps. I'm a proud Son of Scotland.
Something only an American would ever say

I am always amazed, in films taking place in the 1800's, that the women have such elaborate clothing and so few small suitcases! Victor Mclaglen's role is so closely duplicated in "She wore a Yellow Ribbon" - of course another John Ford picture.!
Did I just see what I think I saw at 1:32:03?
By the love Victor McGlagen
I'm a British Sikh, born n bred here. Sod all this politically correct shit, I'm also a film buff, this is a piece of history , let's respect it
Cesar Romero also played an Indian, Ram Das, in Shirley Temple's The Little Princess. Very handsome man who could play many ethnic roles.
I think it’s a rare time she admitted she should have made more movies.
This should have been remade but in Vietnam instead of India Shirley temple meets Col. Kurtz
Love you Shirley <3
Amazing cast of characters !
Thank you for presenting Wee Willie Winkie, which was featured on the MOVIES! channel the other day, but I have seen this film previously, although it's been ages. Amazing how a little girl prevented bloodshed between the British regiment and the gang of Koda Khan. Wonderful directing by the legendary John Ford. For Shirley, it was her fourth of six period piece films she did at the height of her popularity between 1935 and 1939. Shirley's FOX movies were always a joy to watch when I was growing up. Still are. May the wonderful moppet rest in peace, joy, and diplomacy. What an extraordinary life she led.
This is not the full movie, not by any means. A whole segment was cut out in which government employees including Steppin Fetchit go to "hillbilly country" in search of talent. There's a section featuring a song sung by a stereotyped "hillbilly" about his frustration with his distant "love," how "She's way up there, I'm way down here, we just can't agree, she's as stubborn as can be." Clearly someone was concerned here about offending people in Appalachia, but the "Broadway's Gone Hillbilly" section seems offensive enough, why not include this other material?
A feel-good film when Americans desperately needed one. We weren't "out of the red" yet, but it didn't hurt to spread some spirited optimism around.
If there was a more adorable film star than the young Shirley Temple, I haven't seen her.
It's looks like new DVD releases review history books documentary about biography history books years before I love it it's so much better than before making maze bank tower of power outage map money made movie night into store story about how much they have to
Just about my favorite Shirley Temple movie......Auld Lang Syne.....1-1-22
I'm so curious to understand how this is posted free when RUclips and a couple other streaming services show it as a pay movie. Is it now in the public domain?
Exactly, no rights on it anymore.
Stand Up and Cheer is the best movie!! I love Shirley Temple so much! ♡
Poor shirley 😢 she had a terrible time within Hollywood... all of the producers trying to sexually abuse her 🤬 her book is a good read
Is that Ginger Rogers in the 'Baby Take A Bow' sequence?
Wow! Cesar Romero was so handsome when he was young!
The special relationship between Winkie and Sgt MacDuff always gets to me.
That is one of the best parts of this film, Victor McLaglen was fabulous as Sgt. MacDuff. Great character actor. Ford liked him too, as well as his friend John Wayne. Every performance that he gave was wonderful.
He looks so much like Art LaFleur! I wonder if they were related in any way!
Good movie
Wo finde ich Rekrut willie winkie
Is this the same aunt Jemima as the syrup?
In this film I think shirleys character has a crush on the little boy think about it
What a gift she was to us!!!
