I had been watching some other guides to follow including bigger retro youtubers like retrogame corps, but this guide seemed to be the most in depth and well rounded, without being confusing in any way. And it worked easily 100%. I can highly recommend this guide to anyone who is looking to jailbreak and mod their vita! I'm a complete newb when it comes to modding, first time I've modded any system, and this was so easy to follow. Much appreciated Snoop!
If your looking to start fresh on a new sd card then you can boot the system without the SD card and this will boot the original Sony storage with the basic apps installed.. insert the new SD and use VitaDeploy to format the card.. then use the clone tool to 'reclone' the Sony storage to the new SD..
If your looking to update to a larger sd card then you can boot the system without the SD card and this will boot the original Sony storage with the basic apps installed.. insert the NEW SD and use VitaDeploy to format the card.. turn off the sysem and put the old sd back in.. boot the system as normal and open Vitashell, start the connection while plugged into a computer.. put the new sd in your computer and transfer all the files from the old card to the new, making sure you can see all 18+ folders.. If you can't, goto folder options and TICK show all files and UNTICK hide protected files.. Once the copy is complete, power off the vita and swap the SD cards

I only have one tiny suggestion, about the part with the QR code. It took me like 30 tries which is no problem, but I couldn't pause the video to scan it because youtube's timeline overlay while paused makes the code unreadable. So I had to rewind the video several times. Next time you put a QR code in a video just make it a little higher, or just link it as an image :) Thanks so much for the guide!

Removing the Sony card fixes this issue but removes all installed apps, and when I reinsert it, the card goes to rebuild the database and freezes. What should I do?

After using the sd clone when rebooting it does the loading dots stops then shuts off again currently trying to start the vita even without the sd it continues, fixed it by pressing L and the power button so it boots up but now henkaku is gone

Hello I need help, i followed the steps, but it didn't reboot correctly, and is now stuck and doesn't want to turn on correctly @21:50 when the system reboots to clone, what can i do? please help
@@wobwhitey8300 mine turned on and then start freezing at boot up screen so i went into safe mode and restore the system which deleted everything but it now works again also just use the yamt method instead of the sd clone method, it worked alot better.
Hey great extensive video about Vita, I might add something though* In order to get to Recovery mode, you just need to hold the "power" button for some time, the other buttons are not required. IF your vita is crashes you can use restart or to use the Rebuild database options in there as well. Some Vitas come with Javascript disabled so it needs to be checked from the browser settings or the Jailbreak website might not be operational.
Thank you for this guide however I have an issue that Inwould like help with. No hiccups until SD Clone tool. I was able to format SD card and begin clone tool, but when it reboots (very long reboot time as well) it tells me "SD card not detected" i cant seem to resolve from here. I had a bunch of issues this video did not address, but thankfully they were all fairly common sense solutions, so with that and the help of years of Reddit/forum posts about various issues, I was able to get this done! I would however like to see if somebody has a little bit more in dept video about the SD clone tool used in this video. I kept getting errors and it kept failing, I don't know what any of it meant but eventually I made it work. (To anybody who might be wondering my solution, it's simple. I have no idea. I just kept button mashing and trying again and again until it finally just worked.)

Adrenaline bubble manager took over 20 tries twice. Always comes up with the error 0x80010016. Any other way to acquire it aside from scanning the QR code?
@@CaptainLouis It does actually download it but during install process that error comes up. May be a partition issue or it’s clashing with something else
I need help, I bought a psvita with nothing, and I have looked for several methods to put magic on it, but when I want to do it through the internet browser to put henkaku and other applications IT DOESN'T LET ME, either one of two or it does nothing and stays the search engine is blank, or the TENDA page (quick configuration assistant) appears and it stays there, and I can't use the browser at all, not Google or other web pages, and I also tried through the computer connected to the Vita via USB to update it because I have it in 3.60 and add other PC things to the vita, but it asks me to log in to the Playstation network, and I already have an account, but the menu doesn't even appear to enter my email and password , I just get in, it tells me if I want to register, and when I click on "register" and when I click there, it takes me to another page where I get an error, I'm not sure which one but it won't let me register on psn, and I understand I need it to install things via USB cable so I don't know what to do anymore, I haven't used my Vita because I don't have games or anything, can someone help me please?
Can you still play psvita cartridge games after doing this? Everything works great except I can't figure out how to play my physical PSVita games on it now. System won't recognize the cartidges.
I factory resetted my vita on 3.68. Then I hacked it using above method. I can't remote play now. Is there a way to activate my vita on 3.65 henkaku now
I tried rebooting it, It still didn't install the file needed to run adrenaline.

The only problem I'm facing is when I try to play the android ports, I don't get what should I do :/ when I download them through the vitadb downloader thing it says something is missing and pops out an error

Hands down the best of the best guide out there!!! Just wished you could give more info about upgrading/switching SD cards in the future.

Ive been trying to download the bubble manager for last 10 minutes but it doesn't come up with the install option..just the URL opening option..

I cant figure out the bubble booter. It keeps bringing me to the website and wont let me download it.

Do you have to run henkaku every time you turn on your vita? Because I do or adrenaline or any other apps won't work.
