Then comes "under 1800 (I think you said) they are not used to bringing their queens out.." Reminds me of kindergarten. Kids naturally and happily draw outside the lines. Teachers nag them to stop doing that. Then as adults we torture them to get creative and think outside the box. Back to my coffee. Thank you for your videos... I agree with this sentiment same thing with mathematical teaching. Just drill drill drill, then the students can’t see big picture ideas and go right for solution manual to memorize the next chapter. Kids need to explore in an environment that doesn’t punish failure IMO. They should be encouraged to move their queen if they like it. And the teacher should show them why its “bad”. That being said everyone learns different but I quit music lessons because it sucks all the fun out of an enjoyable pastime. I guess it depends on the goals and the person haha.

      @ziwuri 3 года назад +1

      The queen's gambit starts after an early c4 push by white and we want to play the slav defense with d5-c6. After that, it's up to you if you wanna get your queen's bishop out of the pawn chain, risking a queen attack against your b-pawn, or if you want to play the very solid but kind of cramped semi-slav with e6 on the 3rd or 4th move, fianchettoing your queen's bishop and quickly castling kingside.

    Pizza is my favorite food. The nutrition is probably the reason why I Don't have enough brain power playing this game lol

    Unfortunately it is cruebute? Krewboot I do not know how to spell it except phonetically.
    Added to my sorrow is that I haven't had any since 1974.
    My grandma would make it for my dad a reformed farm boy.
    Grandma was just like Laura Ingles Wilder. My dad was raised without running water, and at night during the winter the pot would freeze under the bed. Cool right GM & GD would shut the door to the upstairs when they turned in ( NICE H UH )
    Anyway cruebute is pork shoulder, then everything but the oink ground fine and mixed with flour instead of gelatin so it is kinda like head cheese only it sort of tastes like hash.
    Oh well you asked. GM and me were drinking buds she would regale me with all kind of things before electricity.

    My favourite food has to be мусака(musaka). I believe it is a turkish dish but very popular in Bulgaria. Also, I love these videos. Very helpful!

    In the lines you're showing it still looks like White may be able to play Q b3 at the right time and make protection of B7 fragile. Es verdad?

    I really enjoy a good burrito. Lettuce, cheese, corn, pico de gallo/tomatoes, chicken steak or ground beef or shredded pork or any meat can be good, hot sauce, rice and beans, sour cream. Tacos aren’t bad either.
    I wonder what the best way to respond to that Qb3 move by white is in the line where you move your light squared bishop out early to f5

    Hi. Can I play this opening against anything that white plays or it’s only when white plays d4? Cheers.

      King's Indian is probably the best just because you can use it against basically anything (I'm a semi noob and it's what I use almost all the time) so you don't need to memorize multiple. Other options are the Karo Kann or Sicilian (dragon variation) but both of those only really work against e4, so if you run into a d4 opening (like the London, which is my favourite as white) then you'll need something else.
