In many ways 1000 elo is the purest form of chess. Both players know they’re not that great at the game yet, but they play it for the sheer exhilaration of it and fight to the death to keep their four digits. Also, they have enough knowledge to play the occasional great move.

My second guess
As a 1200, I can say: Thats not representing this elo range😂😂😂
Yeah even though I'm lower than this, i never played that way
1000 in Rapid is pretty bad.
Actually the thing is .. when we do play the games we feel as if we are making the correct moves every single time and the opponent is tough .. it’s only when you analyse you understand what a noob you are and how many chances you miss .. Coming from a 1200-1400 myself 😅
Maybe when they registered they chose to start from 1200 or 1600 rating and they just dropped
I agree this is inaccurate.
I'm better than this, however, I am a 1000

Says "Deflended" again lolol
Levy blunders grammar
He did it on purpose lol
You know what they say: "When in doubt, move the H pawn
I’m 1150 rating and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve tricked my opponent into the king+rook mate because nobody at my level actually knows those two can cause a checkmate lol.
i know
Every 800 knows how to mate with king and rook
The legitimate confusion on Levy’s face gets me every time 😂😂😂
19:41 i kinda feel like he didnt even see the mate and just wanted to promote a pawn or die trying lol
Oh trust me...That is definitely it.
Finally a really entertaining game, where I can identify with both players!

i'm a 1100, and knew every other player would do the exact same thing under time pressure
so, guessed it first try
13:16 I guessed that right....😂😂😂😂
Same 😢
Minigun go... 14:58

Levy: 10 guesses as to what black's next move is
Me: What's the stupidest move in the position... Queen takes f4?
Levy: No that's wrong too
Me: Yeah that's a little TOO stupid, isn't it?
*it happens a second later*
15:10 "ok that's not a problem, you solved the problem for one move now you have 2 problems, fantastic"
Omg never looked at such good funny chess content. 🤣😂The pawn race, the accents, the energy, the move they never player, the GM title for such unbelievable unimaginable moves. Love it
Is that a money tree at the window?
I just played a game where I was incredibly close to checkmating my opponent but he escaped, and I accidentally blundered and lost my queen by moving it in front of a pawn diagonally.
