At this point I feel like 'Counter: Irelia' is just a meme you put at the end of every video.
Welp not exactly cus she has tools to counter almost everything like u have to hit something too bad she is dashing more then yasuo you dont have dashes well she has and now she has free es on u you have 1 burst combo well press w and and take half the dmg but she cant do anything agains like trunda who just altos to dead

it's definitely a counter to xayah mid. she's squishy, immobile, and very vulnerable without her ult, especially against irelia's multiple gap closers and stick potential. however, something like tryndamere mid will just laugh at any irelia.
I starting to feel Rift gonna have more ARAM builds in the future, we have AP kaisa, lethal Xayah, soon will be AP lucian, mandate Ashe, lethal Jinx, etc
All that means is riot cant balance their game

People literally playing smth like 20 champions in proscene and same for high elo solo q. All this new builds and playstyles mostly clickbait, because people so tired of this game that they better play ap kaisa and lose games than actually playing same 10 champs for years
If I had a nickel for every time an adc was played mid with an off meta build I would have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it has happened twice.
I mean lethality xayah isn't even an offmeta build since it's also the standard build as ADC. the Kaisa mid build is kinda off meta I guess since you don't go for e evolve.

@@suisuiringo AP Varus is the offmeta build. Lethality or Atk speed Varus is standard.
Another famous offmeta that rarely anybody plays would be AP Tris. There are more but this is just atop of my head
This used to be my main, played her like 40 times in the midlane with galeforce and HoB it was so fun, even ran prowlers a little for the one shot

@@kikikillian1208 Early game champs? I'd like to see an Irelia try to fight a Sett or a Volibear. Splitpushers and Late game champs? Good luck to an Irelia trying to fight a late game Jax, Tryndamere or Fiora. Nor can she even get close to a full build Kayle without getting melted before she can even cast her q. Irelia doesn't actually literally counter every champ in the game. She's just strong against squishy immobile champions.
I remember season 8 or 9 kaisa and xayah were prime adc picks. They're just getting old and reminiscing by doing this.
Not a big fan of bot as a role, but I love some champs, like tristana and xayah

I've been playing a lot of adc xayah and this build is so good, feels like you have poke burst and extended trade potential also r is damn good of an ability. Could try her mid some day looks fun

back when lucian mid was extremely popular I played xayah mid since her R evades his. Shes also a decent pick into Talon

Who wants to bet which ADC with an abusable build will be the next mid lane pick. We already had Twitch (AP), Kaisa (AP), and how the lethality build Xayah.
+ Corki + lethality varus early season.. next up is lethality Crit mf, have a buddy that's 18-2 atm with her mid. Lucian fell off so mf is a better option... AP kog maw is next mark my words. Try it yourself it's very good especially with rylais rush, you can hold the laner the with constant pressure it's nice, plus be scales very well
Maybe even lethality sivir right after all of that, perfect fit mid. Spell shield, and r for jgler rotations, and scales very well

Lehtality Sivir mid is actually very good. You instantly farm wave with q w. No midalner can keep up with that.

xayah w makes this build op when there are 2 or less tank in the enemy team. She can have that steroid attack speed on w and can function as normal adc late game. Not to mention how fast the cd are since we are building ability haste.
tbh I prefer lord dom third compared to serylda unless there are no tanks in enemy team. That extra 20% crit really helps especially when you bought IE.

@@Chief8042 you can if you opt for ldr and collector. Since her e scales with crit chance as well. 60% crit = 45% increase damage. With 60% you get the ie passive as well.
Plus she can use her steroid w for extended teamfight when aa is better than spamming q + e
@@Chief8042 but if you dont go for ldr and collector, for examplr serylda > night edge then IE is not viable. But you wont get that bonus crit chance damage modifier on her e. But you will have extra slow and protection

yep same reason why graves is used top.
Probably cause the range, burst damage and mobility they have. Plus they seem a lot harder to gank if their in mid lane.

Full ap kaisa mid is a thing for a while now.
I think Bursty ranged ADC's is becoming more popular because of how short mid lane is, and ADC's can last hit much easier under tower, but they can also farm really well without being harassed much and worrying about ganks at mid lane.
Every adc that builds lethality and leaves bot is one broken dream

Why is irelia a counter for every single champion
On adc she gets on top of you and you can't escape. If you play adc mid you deserve an irelia.
She counters Ranged champs which is why she is popular mid lane and also acts as counter to certain top matchups like Gnar/Kennen/Vlad. Reason being because she is the most mobile melee champion with potential to have multiple re-engages

Ironically yasuo is not that much of a counter into xayah if u always have feathers behind him. He'll have to choose between windwalling the returning feathers. Or windwalling your attacking ones
You can probably just ban Yasuo if he pick a ranged adc mid.
if you play well and take exhaust you should always win vs yasuo as xayah mid. honestly laning vs yasuo is 100% wave manipulation.

I already thought of Xayah as a really cool champion design, but i never played her, cause I thought I can't in mid. But when I saw Doinb picking it, I thought about it and it really makes sense to pick her in mid.
i have played lethality xayah before, i started as adc as usual then became split pusher of the team... lethal xayah melts turrets and her wave clear is good too so pushing side lane is really good, but you rely on teammates putting pressure elsewhere and that 's her downfall
The moment i return to mid lane we're back to anadc mid meta, lol idc because at least xayah an adc i love to play mid unlike luc and trist(i feel like scum using luc mid and trist im just bad at mid)
