Nick D'Virgilio, formerly of Spock's Beard was the drummer-lead singer on Feel Euphoria, Octane, Spock's Beard, and X. He also sang lead vocals on two songs from Snow.
Some more: Simone Kirke (Free-Bad Company), Pete Rivera (Rare Earth), George Grantham (POCO), Carmine Appice (Vanilla Fudge), Bradley Polain (Hindley Street Country Club), Levon Helm (The Band), Kevin Godley (10 CC)
*THANK* *YOU* for recognizing Gil Moore & Triumph. Band was SOOO UNDERATED!
In fact, more range and power than Peter Criss, and should be rated higher. Gil is a better drummer too.

Dave Clark is bummed all over to have been omitted from this list.
Not really a singer though. Not that much of a drummer in many views ( mine included).

Robert Wyatt
Best singing drummers - 1. Karen Carpenter 2. Peter Rivera - Rare Earth 3. Phil Collins 4. Levon Helm 5. Don Brewer (Grand Funk)
Criminal Omission: Deen Casternovo. He has a very powerful lead singers voice. He's top 2, easily.
Grant Hart . Look up Grant Hart.
Agreed. Definitely an underrated drummer. The Huskers were awesome.
This list would be woefully incomplete if Karen Carpenter had been left out.
No deen castronovo? Bogus list.
Very good list but mickeys drums were from session band the wrecking crew,
Kelly Keagy
Christian Vander should top that list.
Not me, can't sing nor drum 😂
Dan Beehler from Exciter, though.
Micky Dolenz did not play drums on their hit albums. Do your research
It isn't my list, do your research....
Oh I think someone needs to do some research. Micky played on many Monkees tracks. Not an opinion, a fact.
@@taekwanlew Not on a single hit album but later in their career
@@studionumbersix Unclear what that has to do with what I said. Please explain what I stated that would make you an asshole to me
Jay Osmond!
If Exciter's Dan Beehler isn't on this list, the list is flawed!
Jerry Gaskill from King's X......
ai nothing burger, thanks.
Thank you for your comment
Karen Carpenter? Is that why it's top twelve? So you could squeeze her in?
She was fifth on the list....
Numbers are hard.
@@studionumbersix My point is regardless of where she ranks on this laist, she doesn't belong. Comprehension is hard.
She's an excellent drummer and singer, you're right comprehension is hard.
Good list, but I would omit ringo from it, and put Roger Taylor, Levon Helm and Don Henley as the top three..., but that is my personal opinion....
