This might have been one of my favorite videos you have published. So intimate, so unique, truthful and honest, and… inspirational and hopeful. Thanks.
Those two and Overland Bound have had a huge impact on my off-road success and enjoyment.
That was a great video, thanks. And they seem like such nice, down to earth, non-pretentious people. I hope they continue loving their travels
Thank you, checkout our RUclips channel and help us enjoy the adventures
I saw you on 880 northbound driving a PT north in the ambulance a few days ago!Overland bound for life! The Land Cruiser looks even better in person
Oh man! Good to hear! Thanks for watching!
4R light duty Spartan version of the LC Prado platform, tride and true rig
We absolutely love our 4Runner!
You have made an impact on us as well JC, miss ya my friend
Sound like a wonderful/adventurous way of life. Nice home as well.
What a nice looking couple. The guy on the left has a face made for radio but that's beside the point. HI MIKE!
Hello my friend
It's not the 4 piston calipers on the 4Runner limiting the braking system. Although they utilize rather small caliper pistons. It is the rotor. The rotor is the weak point of the 4Runners braking system. Of course, swapping out to a big brake kit, considering your heavy load, is a home run. Nice rig.
Hey Mikey, another great interview. Kudos and Cheers, Mate.
You guys inspire me. Fridge and drawers next on my list. Sweet rig
What a wonderful couple! Gave me many ideas on my 5th Gen build! What a well thought out setup. It seems to me builds are constantly evolving based upon need. Question: If I was running 33” tires with an Alu Cab RTT and awning up top, fridge, etc, would 4:46 gears be justified. I am a weekenderlander and not a full timer. Thanks!
Awesome! 😎🍷🛻
Love their adventures and rig!
Thank you Rolando
@@ironhorseoverland7353 Most welcome!
A tale of two Michaels
Very respectable build be blessed🙏
Thank you very much
Very informative 👍
Thank you
I fill my C02 (Power Tank) at the Beer making supply store or the Paint Ball supply, not that it matters since you have a onboard compressor now.
We still have our Power Tank, and we may or may not go back to it!
Yay!!
What decent folks!
Most brewing supply stores will fill your power tank.
Hey Deb and Mike great interview. Miss you guys and hope to camp with you sometime. By the way, is that white thing on min 26:10 a fender flare?
Can’t wait to get out there with you again, and yes it is our fender flare! I’ve got to re attach it…
I noticed the South Dakota plates! whereabouts!?
In South Dakota you only have to be there for 24 hours. In turn, you can register your vehicle and procure a Driver's license in one stop.
Also, they're are several mail forwarding services available. That you can use as a home address.
A very friendly state for the traveler. Cheers, Mate.
@@jackwalsh1468 I live here and know how great it is! We overlanders here, however, are few and far between. Hoping to run into others.
They don't actually live in S.D. They moved out of California and found that you don't have to live in S.D. to get license plates there. It saves them paying those expensive California vehicle registration fees.
This may be a silly question, but what is done outside of suspension to be able to support all that weight added on the 4runner?
Brakes. Need better stop boots.
@@OverlandBound That makes sense, thank you. Been planning my own 4runner build and keep wondering how all the weight is managed on some of these crazy rigs.
