Here's our second installment in the "Adventure Ready" series featuring Keith and Maggie's 2017 4Runner and Turtleback Expedition. The Kessler's have been a long time supporter of this adventure and were instrumental in getting us on the trail way back in season one. Keith has the enthusiastic and genuine laugh of a guy you’d like to spend hours around a campfire with telling stories.
Keith’s laugh is infectious enough to keep me watching. Very knowledgeable guy for sure. Fun to watch.

Seems like a little overkill on the electrical setup. Why not just replace with another solar generator since he has the 100 watt panel in place.
I wanted to try something different this time around. Still using the 100 watt panel with the Renogy DCC30S charger. Everything is an experiment 😉

hey so youre running a lithium battery for the back but what battery are you running to start your truck? if its agm or lead acid, i was told you cant run both with that dc to dc controller which i have let me know more of that set up please
Running an Odyssey extreme AGM battery as the starter battery. Using the Renogy DCC30S DC 2 DC & MPPT solar combo charge controller. No issue with AGM starter and Lithium house battery charge controller handles the isolation and charging voltage.

@@KeithKesslerRocks doesnt the DC to DC charger which i have like yours have a Mppt solar controller in it or do u need a extra thing when u mix battery types? need to know quck as amazon can deliver today if i find out in 50 mins
@@overlandsauce5648 it’s an all in one unit both the DC 2 DC and solar MPPT are contained within the same box.
