I had the opportunity to work for Gulfstream in the Brunswick inspection department.. almost 20 years ago now!!! I loved working there. Got to fly in a few GIV's, and once up in the cockpit. It's a great company that builds awesome aircraft!!! Watching the take off reminded me of just how powerful those engines were.. They really set you back in the seat!
That was an awesome experience. Thank you for bringing us along; it almost felt like we were there. I was supposed to fly to Paris this summer in one of those but the flight got canceled.😢. Looking forward to joining you on a flight if possible. Take care Flyboy

Maybe you should cut the mike while you chomp on your BBQ chips. I would have liked to hear some of the pre flight, but the chomping was beyond annoying.
Just found this channel and had to subscribe. Wonderful video and so nice to see RSW and the new tower standing up ready to open if it isn't already open. We fly to RSW about five to six times a year and having grown up on Sanibel (so sad what Ian did to the area) as well as got my private at Page Field (FMY) when it was the only airport in town. I was amazed at just how much throttle motion there was in level flight, would never have thought it would be that much yet I don't fly a G550 either! 😢 Thanks for the great video and I look forward to checking many more of your work.

Don't quite get why some don't pronounce vowels correctly--It's not a "Golfstream". There's a "U" in there. Same with the Nissan car--it's an Altima, not an Ultima.

After I win Mega Millions, I plan to charter one of these for several round trips like ATL-LHR. My guess is that would cost about $200,000 per round trip. Is that about right?
I’d be pretty disappointed to pay so much for a private jet and constantly have to ‘watch my head’ in a cramped cabin. Having a jittery rookie pilot would only add to my discomfort.
The Praetor’s are nice but not even in the same class as the G550. G550 is a large cabin ultra long range jet. The praetor is the smallest supermid jet and medium range.
No, it is definitely not faster, it is slower, more fuel efficient? I seriously doubt it if you define fuel economy per seat. Safer? I don’t see any proof of that. Better? Hardly, definitely more affordable, much smaller jet, G550 has about 50% higher MTOW, more than twice the range, etc. Embraer makes fine airplanes but let’s compare apples with apples and not oranges.
