Thank you for showing this! Very interesting! But Why do you place the 2nd CST on the 3rd group and not on the 4th? What is the difference between those?
The last button affects the entire timeline. When using groups, the 3rd button affects the entire group but not the timeline. With pre and post group clips levels you just get additional group controls before and after the clip level and before the timeline level. When using groups, you get 1: Group pre clip level - adjust entire group 2: Clip level - adjust selected clip only 3. Group post clip level - adjust entire group 4. Timeline level - adjust entire timeline. Hope this is helpful! Super handy when grouping scenes or different cameras. Say sony cameras are all 1 group and canon is another group, I can make adjustments to each group before adjusting everything at once with the timeline level. Your clips will need to be shot matched, and then groups might each have their on look once the clips are all matched at the clip level.
nice! thanks for the tips!!!
You bet!
I don't use Resolve but love your videos.
@MichaelDeLormePhotography thank you! I am an admirer of your work, that is cool to hear from you!
