Class act. A little insight like this from tour pros now and then goes a long way in helping and encouraging others to improve and promotes more involvement in this horrible, wonderful, disastrous, rewarding game we all love. I'll surely be pulling for Tommy this season
Thank you for the 5 tips, Tommy. After watching them, I went to the range today and practiced your step drill and hit the irons better than I have in decades! That was so much fun! I will be rooting for you this year!
Just back into golf after nearly 12 years so a lot of the players were unknown to me, slowly starting to recognise players and Tommy is by far my favourite, he's just a really cool guy.. so humble and down to earth... great series with him...👍👍👏👏
One of the best concise tip video's I've seen. Call me slow but the sweeping motion with the driver finally clicked with me when Tommy explained it. Great series Rick and thanks to Tommy for spending some time with us.
Tommy is pure class… biggest takeaway from this video? The thought process around the way these guys play is always positive. If I could start visualizing this way instead of “don’t hit it in the trees, Mike” “don’t chunk it, Mike” “don’t thin it, Mike” maybe it will help? We’ll try next round, lol. Merry Christmas Rick!
Rick, your content is always brilliant, but in this series, you’re raising the bar! Tommy is a proper lad and a really good sport giving his time for this. I was a massive Tommy-fan before, and he’s just impressing me even more, every day. Quality player, seems like a really nice guy. Happy, positive. Excellent.
Huge kudos to the filming and editing of the videos. Unbelievable surroundings with the camera behind Tommy for the chilling, and the post production work is so good in helping reiterate coaching points
Since watching this vid, I’ve been down the range and only got on the course this weekend. The tip about teeing higher and forward in my stance and feeling I’m hitting up on the ball has transformed my driving. Eradicated my Erm…. Fade??? (Read: Massive slice) that my local pros couldn’t cure! Carrying 10-20 yards further even in the cold and allows me to swing faster with control that I could only dream of before! Thanks guys! ❤️
What a legend! Tommy’s my new favorite tour player after this series. One thing to reiterate on the chipping part of the video that I’ve put into practice and has made me into a much better chipper….choosing the club was the *fourth* step in his process. Don’t always reach for the 56 or 58deg
Many of my favorite of Rick’s videos are of him playing with high level pros, and seeing how affable many of them are. I’d give anything to play with Tommy for sure!
Tommy us one of my favorite professional golfers today. I loved this video. He said exactly what I've been told in I calmer and more articulate way. It made me want to go out and practice today and it's not going to get above freezing today. Less than ideal.
Seriously….how good are these videos with Tommy Fleetwood! Rick you have the best job and on top of that you have the pleasure of spending time with not only an AMAZING golfer but an exceptional human being! Keep them coming please! 🤙🏻
Great player and a great man. Tommy Fleetwood always a pleasure to watch playing and great to listen to him close up on golfing advice! Great video. Enjoyed it.
Tommy is awesome; and we have the same hairstyle! Love his attitude and have been a fan for awhile - really liking this series and the thought process.
Thank you Tommy and Rick for some great tips; I will need to hit the range in the couple of day and work on the driver and irons. My drive is very inconsistent so I will definitely need to practice. Tommy seems like the person that if you saw in the pub after a round, he would be excited to hear what your best 3 shots were. Great video
Newfound respect for Tommy! He’s always been one of my favs out there, but this puts him at another level. He could have had all his crew out there- caddy, agent, etc. but to bring it down to such an intimate level where it’s just him talking and playing- AWESOME! The match and the tips were really good videos!!!! Thank you Rick!
I sure enjoyed watching how you both interacted with the course and each other. Great display of sportsmanship, encouragement, and skill both in the great shots and the recovery from not so great shots. I loved seeing the humanity and the humility. Thanks to you both!
Tommy Fleetwood is certainly a favorite of mine and has been for a number of years. Thanks for the great videos this year and can't wait to see what you have for us in 2022. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Tommy your the man. So humble for such a talented golfer. I'm gonna try book a yardage scope for all my clubs. I think that is the best tip. Heard Westwood say that when you played him Rick. We don't know how far we hit or clubs from bad to good strikes.
Rick. This video made me think of all the stuff that I need to improve on. It took me about 18 minutes to watch this because I was righting down all the tips and stuff so I can remember them. Also love the content you make. Keep doing a great job.
The best advice I've ever received for driver is to really exaggerate that upward and outward motion, the tee peg drill just emphasis this. For the irons, placing a tee peg, head cover or driving range tees behind and slightly away from the ball really helped me with hitting down and focus swinging in to out to stop my horrendous fade/slice. Merry Christmas!
Thanks for the pointers. Loved all the tips especially ending on a good note. Golf is hard and you have to be kind to yourself. Thinking about what went well is so important and as important if not more important than what you need to work on.
Loved the interview, seems like a hell off a guy Tommy. Will keep cheering for him when he gets in contention! Luv the round off golf u played with him as well Rick.⛳
Regarding Tommy's tip regarding Distances: I use Top Tracer at the driving range to record distances for averages. However, as an amateur I'm well aware that in every twenty shots I may strike 50-60% of them well. So I usually discount the top 2/3 and bottom 2/3 distances. When I say distances I mean the carry distance. My contention is that I'm going to hit some poor shots out on the course but by eliminating the outliers I can trust the carry distance knowledge better.
There is a massive following in the U.S. for European players, and Tommy is one of my favorites, so down to earth and plays so calm every time I see him in an event. Hope to see him in more U.S. events and do well.
Nice video. As others have said already: Tommy seems like such a nice, down to earth kind of guy, Especially liked the last tip & comment. "golf is hard - be kind to yourself"
Rick you are the best. Having Tommy on your channel has been so cool, great advice. My son is a junior golfer and we know his distances on skytrak and mevo + and it works ok. Keeping a shot journal is such a great idea for on the course , will be doing it from now on for sure. I always analyze my rounds which dictates what I will be working on, I'm not sure my son does yet but he has me to talk him through it for now. I have an uncanny ability to remember every stroke.
Really enjoying these videos with Tommy - he's a pleasure to watch, and so good to see such a wonderful golfer playing in an 'ordinary' situation - carrying his own bag on a cold and soggy day on one of the other videos. He comes across as a very likeable, humble guy (while also being a sensational golfer). ...and his 5 tips are perfect too - easy to understand and to implement.
Honestly think he would be one of the coolest pros to play with, he’s so chill and seems humble and cares ab us amateurs. Cheers Tommy get that major this year mate!!
Great tips Rick and you hit the nail on the head re distances. Most amateur's are, shall we say....'very generous', with how far they hit the ball. They talk about total distances as well, when for an iron it's the carry that's all important.
Great video. I have to say, another one of my favorite golf tip videos was the one where you explained when your feet is higher than the ball, vice versa or uphill/downhill lies and how the ball reacts differently depending on that, and how to adjust accordingly 🏌️♂️🎄🇺🇸 🇬🇧
Down to earth and talented, great interview and insight, I admire the sharing of information because Golf is hard and solid tips from the Pros are very much welcomed.
I love that last sentiment. Pick your best three and walk away to come back with those in mind. Thanks Rick. This series with Tommy Fleetwood has been fantastic. Great bloke, great banter and great advice. I know what I'll be working on with the Trackman this winter.
Tommy is such a humble player. Always smiling, always making jokes and that’s how golf should be. Great video
Once he wins his first major he will never talk to Rick again.
@@BidenIsKing Don't think I would want you in my group, unless you want to add a haha or smiley face to your comment.
@@sanddsimpson6623 I was trying to be sarcastic.
Too humble.
In a way it shows me that he lacks the killer instinct needed to win a major.
These videos with Tommy have been brilliant. Think he may be my new favourite player. We need to see more players in 'real life'.
I agree, I met Billy Horschel at the 2016 US Open, super nice and friendly guy and I have become a fan ever since
Tommy is a huge plus for golf. Not arrogant, just a golfer that has worked hard and done well.
Tommy is such a class act. Love these videos Rick, keep them coming!!
Class act. A little insight like this from tour pros now and then goes a long way in helping and encouraging others to improve and promotes more involvement in this horrible, wonderful, disastrous, rewarding game we all love. I'll surely be pulling for Tommy this season
Tommy by far my favorite on tour. Such a positive guy! Merry Christmas, Rick!

Fantastic tips from Tommy. I love the review idea after the round, especially the 3 best shots. I’m definitely taking that into 2022.

Tommy is definitely one of my favorite players on tour now ever since your epic match!!! 👍👍👍
Outstanding from Tommy, such a humble and genuine bloke. Thank you
Tommy is the boss. He is so genuine. Thanks Rick for another class video.
Brilliant advice video for me and sharing with my fellow golfers. Thank you Tommy, Rick and the team!

Some basic yet very useful tips. Love the iron stamp. Will be using that for sure
Big thanks to Tommy - what a great chap! Fantastic series of films, Rick. Good luck reaching the 2m this year!
Tried the front foot stamp technique this morning with my irons as I was chunking it frequently. That is a excellent tip thanks Tommy, what a lad👍
Great tips - beautifully explained. Clear without too much technical emphasis - great common sense advice. Thanks!!
Love it. Thank you. Incredible to live in an age where we can access this sort of insight.
What a legend! Tommy’s my new favorite tour player after this series. One thing to reiterate on the chipping part of the video that I’ve put into practice and has made me into a much better chipper….choosing the club was the *fourth* step in his process. Don’t always reach for the 56 or 58deg
He is awesome, simple, humble, super charismatic and funny!!! Really enjoy the video and I look forward to see him/you next year in Madrid Open 🎉
I am really appreciating these vids with Tommy both very entertaining and informative.
Love tip 5. I can play every single shot of my round in my mind after playing. I've always done it. It's amazing how much you remember.
Clear and fresh ideas, i did like this. Tommy came across as a grounded gent. Im going to watch this again.
Tommy is a true gem!!! Great player, and a great person! Please keep these videos with him coming! Can't wait to see Tommy win the Masters in 2022!
Many of my favorite of Rick’s videos are of him playing with high level pros, and seeing how affable many of them are. I’d give anything to play with Tommy for sure!

Great video and great tips - thanks guys! I'm a middle aged lady newbie with a high handicap and love these videos to help improve my game!

I don't think anybody has had a lesson like this it is very helpful thank you. Loving this videos
Great player and a great man. Tommy Fleetwood always a pleasure to watch playing and great to listen to him close up on golfing advice! Great video. Enjoyed it.
I was before but I'm even a bigger fan now of Tommy. Merry Christmas to all from across the pond.
The time Tommy spent making this content with Rick is testament to the man. Absolute class. Cheers Rick and double cheers Tommy. 🍻
Great tips, thank you Rick and Tommy - these are so important for golfers who want to play good golf, and its all true
Tommy is awesome; and we have the same hairstyle! Love his attitude and have been a fan for awhile - really liking this series and the thought process.
Loved this video. Tommy & Rick are both classy guys. Stay humble and blessed 🙏
Thank you very much to Tommy Fletwood! Merry Christmas!
I’m so glad you listened to me and had more Tommy ha ha…enjoy the holidays!!
Great video. Probably best “quick tips” golf video I’ve seen. All tips that everyone can implement
Thank you Tommy and Rick for some great tips; I will need to hit the range in the couple of day and work on the driver and irons. My drive is very inconsistent so I will definitely need to practice. Love Ricks enthusiasm for everything golf. You can see how much he loves the game everytime he posts.

Tommy is one of the top 3 coolest guys on tour. He is THE man! Nice content Rick. Thanks
We love you Tommy and you Rick for bringing him to such great lessons!
I love this and Arccos changed my game. I think the club distance tip is so powerful and the analysis.
I’ve always liked him as a golfer. Good tips, and simply stated, thank you
I find that remembering your best shot is the way they trick you into coming back. Thanks to both of you. Merry Christmas.
Tommy is great, loving this series with him...

Great tips. Thanks, I hope you all have a safe and Happy Christmas. Please get Tommy on the show for more tips.
Used the driving tip today (keeping my head behind the ball to hit up on the ball on impact)
Worked a treat put 30 to 40 yards on my drives awsome
Simply put, I thoroughly enjoyed this video... Thanks.

Tommy is a gent. I always admired his game, but I'm a fan now. Great series Rick!
Nice video. As others have said already: Tommy seems like such a nice, down to earth kind of guy,
Especially liked the last tip & comment. "golf is hard - be kind to yourself"
That was awesome. Way more important to know carry distance. That really comes into play on the cold damp days no role.
The three best shots of the day...I love this so much that I'm going to make this a habit!
Thanks for sharing those tips what a lovely guy Tommy is a fantastic advert for golf and thanks Rick..
super solid advice, great video, have a huge amount of love for Tommy and I am so glad he has been so successful, fully deserving! Cheers all!

Right on Tommy Fleetwood. Approachable, cool, great striker and a good chap.
This was spot on in my case. Thanks again for great content. Cheers Tommy. Youre my favorite golfer after Hovland of course. Greetings a Norwegian
An absolute credit to golf and himself ,thanks Tommy !
Superb ambassador for golf. One of the world's best and feels like you're talking to a mate at your local club. Very humble.
Excellent tips, good to hear your players have the same thoughts as us mere mortals albeit they can put them in motion. Tommy is such a nice guy.
