This video is finally done after 7 MONTHS OF HARD WORK. I finally finished the long awaited Shadic vs Marigi! I'm super happy how this turned out and how the animation looks! I can't wait to see how far I go from here!

Gunna be a critical, as everyone requires criticism and constructive comments to improve.
animation: 10/10 yeah, duh.
sound design: 6.5/10 Some sounds like at 2:54 don't really sound right at all. Also 1:09's sound just cutting out instantly.
Effects: 6/10 Yeah, no brainer here too. but somethings like the cuts on Sonic and Shadow at the end- (which don't make sense considering how superforms work) look bad on the sprites. 4:22 especially with the weird black lines that spaz over His body.
Characterization: 3/10 mostly due to the way Shadic acting is nothing like Sonic and Shadow combined, too much like Vegito. which doesn't fit the character of Sonic's attitude and Shadow's sometimes loud silence, not to mention the incredibly weird moment where Shadic is just standing there and not doing anything at the end.
Mario and Luigi don't have much of a character in the first place so they can't be argued.
That little bit at the end where they're basically stroking off Mario and Luigi seems a bit too forced, considering Shadic already did that in the middle of the fight saying they surpassed Him.
a Simple GG would be fine, but saying
"you're the strongest heroes"
"you're truly amazing."
and basically saying "we had no chance"
feels VERY out of character for someone like Sonic to say, Goku would. but Sonic isn't Goku.
Sonic would say- "You had me on the edge of my seat back there-" or something that wouldn't be him outright ignoring His ego and attitude. Honestly thought Sonic would be a little salty, Shadow would probably just give some Silent Respect. not outwardly saying anything.
and back to the whole way Super-Forms work. when drained chaos energy doesn't just leave you on the verge of death or in pain, it actually fully refreshes you without any injuries. like how in 06 Sonic was brought back to life or anytime after a Super Fight He's perfectly fine unless outside factors are at play.
So Sonic and Shadow wouldn't be damaged at all when defusing, even Nazo Unleashed shows this.
so my main criticisms can be boiled down to
-Some sound effects are unneeded or just goofy.
-The Effects need some tweaking and sometimes removing
-Sonic and Shadow need to stop being written like Goku and Vegeta, or else you might as well do Vegito vs Marigi instead.
-and the source material of the original series needs to be properly examined to understand how it works so you don't have random moments that don't exactly make any sense by the og series logic

If you write Superman vs the Hulk but they have none of their personality it's two flying bricks.
if you write Sonic like Goku, moves and all.
you should just do Goku instead.

You really cooked such a amazing dish with this one. Everything was so dynamic. And that rigging was so good. Amazing job.
Loved how over the top you went with the Fight. Although I have criticism with how you did the dialogue
Don't know if you saw, but in your SASB What If video I mentioned the pacing of the dialogue being a bit too fast, same thing occurs here
Second. Make sure to re-read your lines for Redundancy as that was very present throughout the dialogue (Repeating certain words over and over)
Lastly, this is mainly a minor personal gripe, but the characterization of Sonic feels more like a Goku Parody. I'll rewrite one of his lines to show what I mean.
"I guess the overload from using both Chaos and Hyper Form burnt out the Fusion faster. Heck, even if we combined Light Speed with it, I still don't think it would get through Marigi's sheer Defense"
If I ever start to animate again, it's gonna be because of this. Astounding work man.

Okay so what's interesting to me is that Marigi has both Fire + Electricity Manipulation as well as Dual-wielding Red & Green Hammers which make Sense for him to have at his Arsenal

Sorry I couldn’t make the premiere. This was a really solid animation Splitzer. My only critique is the text boxes moved a little too fast to read, but apart from that, everything else was really good. The camera angles, special effects, and attack choreography were excellent. Whats your thoughts on doing some custom forms with canon characters? Such as dark + hyper sonic/ultra lightspeed sonic or mario using more than 1 power up. ofc itd be realistic combinations of forms and stuff but id wanna hear your thoughts

Although i heavily disagree with the out come i do like the scaling idea but it is just kinda dragon ball but its still cool to make these characters have that scaling. Imainly dont agree with caped marigi being able to fight hyper shadic and caped star marigi being able to fight chaos hyper shadic and btw when u come out of a super/hyper/fusion your not damaged at all instead u are given a little boost. And since u were using the idea of the rival boost for shadic then marigi should be nowhere near as close to shadic as he was because the rival boost is like goku or vegeta jumping from base to there ultra forms. But still peak animation loki some of the best i have seen other than spacepea. And it would be cool to to shadic use some of the other forms like ultra,dark,,excalibur and mix those with his hyper form. And also this is my idea of the power levels

Tbh, This could be more epic if it was explained why Marigi kept with Hyper Shadic, unless they used the Pure Hearts to neutralize him and then used those ontop of Hyperstar to rival Chaos Hyper. I mean tbh it was said Chaos Shadow with all Rings off is like a Super Form without Chaos Emeralds so i could see why they'd be equal since the Pure Hearts can strength their Users and Weaken their Opponents.
