This. THIS is how Infinite should've been in Sonic Forces. I always loved Infinite's concept and design when it came to him and the Phantom Ruby. And believed that he had been underutilized and could've been a much bigger threat than what we got in the games. Seriously, the guy was even advertised by SEGA to be the strongest villain up until that point, the fact that no super forms were involved against him is pretty ridiculous I reckon. Infinite wasn't even the top dog for a full game anyway like previous villains have been, the Death Egg Robot was shitting out Infinite clones like a gumball machine, which are said to have power equivalent to the originals. Sega did Infinite dirty, glad that the writers from 2010 onwards are gone.
He wasn't a small threat but it wasn't realistic for him to follow Eggman like a pet... He would have turned on Eggman after the fiest few acts. And he would have made a better villain for Shadow.
So I've seen someone say that Chaos Emeralds' power isn't really split into "negative" and "positive" and the way it comes out simply depends on the wielder's intentions and emotional/mental state ...Which is basically the same thing that now that I think about it
well, the 'unification' of two things that cannot mix together(in this case, positive and negative energy) often turns out to be, you guessed it, _chaotic._ if Chaos Energy is truly the energy of the chaos itself, then this is the most effective way there is to use it.. by finding balance within the unbalanced.

13:41 THIS is why Dark Sonic needs to come back. The negative energy is a lesson to not let your dark emotions overcome you, or you become someone you're not. There is SO much potential for the franchise and not only this animation, but pretty much all of the fans work proves it.
Thing is, Dark Sonic was a form exclusive to Sonic X, and considering SEGA and Sonic Team's track record, it's highly unlikely that the form would make it into the game canon.
I'm pretty sure Werehog Sonic was a result of him being pumped full of Dark Gaia energy while Eggman was using the emeralds's power to awaken Dark Gaia

And the negative power of the emeralds are weakness than the positive, so it's soo ilogic when tikal says: "you are only using a half of the power of the emeralds", when sonic whas actually using ALL the power of the emeralds than he can use.

As cool as that sounds, it simply wouldn't work. For starters, the Super form is never meant to be shown going all out, (at least not right now, doesn't help that the thing hasn't been used against a final boss since Generations) even gods such as Solaris and Dark Gaia didn't even make the Superhogs fight seriously. I sincerely doubt Infinite could push a Super form that far, hell, it's debatable if he can push Sonic or Shadow into going Super at all, seeing how he was essentially dying after his final fight, and that Sonic then took on (and was doing most of the heavy lifting) against Eggman, who had surpassed Infinite with the MDER. As for the last part, yeah, there's no way. The other characters mean nothing, the gap between characters such as Knuckles and Omega to the Super forms is far too big, I mean, multiple *infinities* big. If a villain can push a character into turning Super, then there's no hope for the non-super characters to even make the villain flinch, just saying.
Last I checked, didn't the battle with dark Gaia make Sonic faint out of his Super form, that shows Sonic was using a lot of power when battling alongside with the Gaia Colossus
I feel like this is some sort of prime universe because of how strong everyone is and I feel like sonic got some sort of complete hyper form at the end because of how he actually got the form (by mixing the dark and super forms).
I hate mario, he's just a childish game, he's design, he's items, he's gameplay and how all he need to do is saving his princess and thats stupid while seeing sonic stories and stuff, it's a lot better

Mario's newest game (even though it was released in 2017) introduced a capture mechanic changing the Mario gameplay while still retaining the Mario kid friendly charm. Also, I don't feel like it's fair to hate on one of gaming's most iconic and beloved franchises. I'm not really a big fan of Mario but I still appreciate the impact Mario had in the past.

the fight choreography was really good but I think the music could have been timed better and the music used could have been better too, more of the black knights vocal tracks would have done this animation some good I also think the animation at time was pretty stiff and much better effects could have been used but what really made me enjoy this animation was the choreography which i seriously think you nailed, but other things could be fixed IMO
I like the idea of Super and Dark Sonic merging to create Hyper Sonic, But what's the difference between Super and Dark other than "positive and negative" energy? They both seem to kick an equal amount of ass.
@Ursu Matei In nazo unleashed (not canon) dark sonic was able to physically harm nazo who scaled to super sonic and super shadow and those forms weren’t doing squat to nazo until they went hyper (non canon transformation in the series)
Epic animation! I love how you made Sonic unify both the positive and negative of the emeralds.That's an idea I've had in my head for quite some time. Also King Boom Boo being in the 'phantom' ruby makes sense. He turned into Kurama XD. I was waiting for you to hopefully finish the Infinite vs Sonic and Shadow animation. I like that shadow is an actual character and not an edge lord. Also like how you use the Phantom ruby's ability to manipulate reality, which is one of the strongest abilities ever and what chaos control can do

1- made infinite and phantom ruby be better 2- not an mistake but on the op of unleashed sonic used the emeralds to get into eggman, so he cant "call" them 3- impressive use of dark shadow from his game and light speed dash sonic 4- very cool to see what the phantom ruby in theory can do, since its main power is to affect the reality itself 5- you really did a way to actually canonize hyper sonic(just need a way to be different than super), since the super form was sayed of sonic using the positive, and dark was the time where he was full of negative, if metarex could get canon that would be a very good thing to see 6- you really did a good work reading the wiki and making use of past abilities from sonic and shadow
Alright, that was pretty cool. My only criticism is that there was a bit too much empty space in a lot of scenes. Could probably be fixed by zooming in the camera in those parts, but besides that this was awesome!

I'm gonna be honest my guy! Out of the many Sprite Animations I've seen of Sonic and exploring higher levels of power, you as of now are BY FAR the best I've seen! Believe me, there has been many wacky scenarios people put Sonic in to the point of absurdity for its own good! *(Be sure to click read more)* But you? You find a method to tie everything together with the material you have to work with and you don't go overboard! Well.... except for Infinite burning the MULTIVERSE into ashes but I can understand that bit due to the fact the Phantom Ruby screws with reality and could've simply cancelled out the super forms! Otherwise, what I like about yours is its not all cracked up and its down to Earth as it can be! Well done =D

In Sonic Battle, Sonic could use one of his special attacks if I recall correctly to shoot a blast while he is in a ball form, that is in fact correct, I don't know about the empowering however.

OK I like the theory of the Phantom Ruby running off negative energy, but I wasn't expecting King BOOM Boo to dwell within it though. According to a very interesting video about the Phantom Ruby, the one who'd have creating it would have been Imperator Ix. I instantly bought that theory because 1: the Phantom Ruby was found in Angel Island in the first place. 2 : I love Sonic Chronicles. well infinite was holding back his full power in sonic force so he could see his enemy run screaming in fear by using Psychological warfare but here Infinite is using his full Power without holding back.
As cool as that sounds, it simply wouldn't work.
For starters, the Super form is never meant to be shown going all out, (at least not right now, doesn't help that the thing hasn't been used against a final boss since Generations) even gods such as Solaris and Dark Gaia didn't even make the Superhogs fight seriously. I sincerely doubt Infinite could push a Super form that far, hell, it's debatable if he can push Sonic or Shadow into going Super at all, seeing how he was essentially dying after his final fight, and that Sonic then took on (and was doing most of the heavy lifting) against Eggman, who had surpassed Infinite with the MDER.
As for the last part, yeah, there's no way. The other characters mean nothing, the gap between characters such as Knuckles and Omega to the Super forms is far too big, I mean, multiple *infinities* big. If a villain can push a character into turning Super, then there's no hope for the non-super characters to even make the villain flinch, just saying.
Last I checked, didn't the battle with dark Gaia make Sonic faint out of his Super form, that shows Sonic was using a lot of power when battling alongside with the Gaia Colossus

I feel like this is some sort of prime universe because of how strong everyone is and I feel like sonic got some sort of complete hyper form at the end because of how he actually got the form (by mixing the dark and super forms).
The Phantom Ruby Prototype is so strong, it affected other timelines and changed Sonic and Shadow's sprites.

Mario's newest game (even though it was released in 2017) introduced a capture mechanic changing the Mario gameplay while still retaining the Mario kid friendly charm. Also, I don't feel like it's fair to hate on one of gaming's most iconic and beloved franchises. I'm not really a big fan of Mario but I still appreciate the impact Mario had in the past.

Take notes sega, awesome idea remembering that chaos emeralds have negative and positive energy, defeating infinite by removing the phantom ruby. This one animation is more enjoyable that a playable sonic game with 3 characters. One word. NOICE.

the fight choreography was really good but I think the music could have been timed better and the music used could have been better too, more of the black knights vocal tracks would have done this animation some good I also think the animation at time was pretty stiff and much better effects could have been used
but what really made me enjoy this animation was the choreography which i seriously think you nailed, but other things could be fixed IMO

@Ursu Matei In nazo unleashed (not canon) dark sonic was able to physically harm nazo who scaled to super sonic and super shadow and those forms weren’t doing squat to nazo until they went hyper (non canon transformation in the series)

This is just my idea. But instead of being able to create objects with chaos energy, dark sonic should be able to syphon chaos energy

Also King Boom Boo being in the 'phantom' ruby makes sense. He turned into Kurama XD. I was waiting for you to hopefully finish the Infinite vs Sonic and Shadow animation. Love how ever since Sonic RPG Episode 10 Hyper Sonic has sort of come back into the spotlight.
I like that shadow is an actual character and not an edge lord. Also like how you use the Phantom ruby's ability to manipulate reality, which is one of the strongest abilities ever and what chaos control can do
some sonic animators handling of infinite: makes infinite get a power up and becomes rly rly powerful that i takes hyper sonic or makes infinite rly strong that he can go toe to toe with super sonic while giving him a ending that he in peace
sega and sonics team handling of infinite: gives him a piss poor backstory, makes him a joke of a villain, holds him back and his boss fights make him rly easy to beat and was forgotten and died off screen
That was pretty impressive, in Sonic's hyper form, it's hyper fast, and completely indestructible.
1- made infinite and phantom ruby be better
2- not an mistake but on the op of unleashed sonic used the emeralds to get into eggman, so he cant "call" them
3- impressive use of dark shadow from his game and light speed dash sonic
4- very cool to see what the phantom ruby in theory can do, since its main power is to affect the reality itself
5- you really did a way to actually canonize hyper sonic(just need a way to be different than super), since the super form was sayed of sonic using the positive, and dark was the time where he was full of negative, if metarex could get canon that would be a very good thing to see
6- you really did a good work reading the wiki and making use of past abilities from sonic and shadow
You nail sonic personality pretty well and also like how fast the fighting is
Alright, that was pretty cool. My only criticism is that there was a bit too much empty space in a lot of scenes. Could probably be fixed by zooming in the camera in those parts, but besides that this was awesome!

In Sonic Battle, Sonic could use one of his special attacks if I recall correctly to shoot a blast while he is in a ball form, that is in fact correct, I don't know about the empowering however.
He did empowerment in the movie when he fought Eggman and in his light speed form in some of the games.

OK I like the theory of the Phantom Ruby running off negative energy, but I wasn't expecting King BOOM Boo to dwell within it though. According to a very interesting video about the Phantom Ruby, the one who'd have creating it would have been Imperator Ix. I instantly bought that theory because 1: the Phantom Ruby was found in Angel Island in the first place.

You would also have to include Dark Sonic for that to happen. Which makes me think of instead replacing the Super Emeralds, why not have 2 methods of going into Hyper? One with Super Emeralds, another with mastering Super and Dark forms respectively.
