My wife’s 2007 suburban had a bad oil pressure sensor and remote start did not work. Once I fixed it the remote start started working again. Side note: one of the passenger door sensors is not working and the truck thinks one of the doors is open. However the remote start still works if you quickly press the lock door button on the key fob and then press the remote start. But because the truck thinks the door is open when you lock the truck using the key fob you won’t hear the horn verification after pressing the lock button twice like you normally would. Strange.

Dude that was awesome ..I have a 2004 Malibu Maxx I keep reading that it needs a scan tool to program remote ..I have the launch x431 as u do but I can't find the key programm function ..it has remote start also ..any ideas

Did you get me up finding out what the issue with the ECM was? I have a 14 Malibu LTZ that has the same issue. I I’ll manually start but not remote. The check engine light comes on intermittently. When it’s off the car will remote start but not when it’s on. Sometimes it stays off for a week or 2 then comes back on.

I have a 2010 Chevy Tahoe, I ran the diagnostic and 0 codes. Only the TPMS light is on, I have to buy new TPMS for my aftermarket wheels. Could this be the problem?

My 2015 Buick Enclave will not remote start if the gas tank level is somewhere below 1/4 full. Problem for me because my driveway is on a slope so the rear end is lower and i think the sensor is more toward the front of the car, so senses less than what is actually in the tank.
I checked my keypad and I realized that it was pride open. I snapped it back together and my remote start started working again. Check your key Bob.

Just installed a new starter motor in my car two days ago. The car starter worked fine since I replaced the starter motor. Today the starter is failing to start the car now. I have to use the key for it to start (at least it starts). When I try to use the key fob to start, I get the same symptoms of a bad starter. Infiniti.

Well... now I know why mines not auto starting. My code is a from a Emissions sensor over the gas tank under the bed...ugh....

I had an engine light on, and my remote start wouldn't work until I replaced my fuel pressure sensor.
I have a 08 enclave. I go through the functions and you can hear the engine want to start but it doesn’t. Would that be an issue with the computer or the remote itself. Sorry if this is a dumb question lol
Not a dumb question at all. Just to confirm it does start regularly with the key? But just won't start with the remote feature?

@@brandonbattle2996 you would need a scan tool to see what's preventing the remote start from engaging the starter motor. The body control module has the data PIDs you need. Is the check engine light on? If it's on for any reason this will prevent the remote start from working.
@@ValleyMobileAutomotive no just the tire pressure light. But that shouldn’t interfere though. But I’ll take it to a shop to see and I’ll let you know the problem

Wouldn't it have 0 oil pressure if it is not running?...
i have a 2015 sierra and my key fob stoped working both the same day no check engine no other light on dont know if it has a fuse for that. anyone know a fix

That’s not a fix neither solve anything.
It's more of a diagnosis. There are lots of reasons why the remote start won't work. Hopefully with this information it can help point you in the right direction.
What you mean that's not a fix? The man was hired to find out why the remote start doesn't work. And what did he do? He found out what the cause was. Hence the video he made. You realize there are tons of codes? So what would you be saying if you jumped on here and watched him fix this remote start by repairing a faulty fuel sending unit causing it not to start. Then you run out and buy a sending unit. Install it. Only to find out your check engine light was a TPS? the man saved me hours by getting to the basic point. A check engine light will cause it not to start
