Ryan really killed it with that steak, that is THE recipe for anyone looking to absolutely slam dunk a steak. I'm surprised no one commented about the T-Bone, arguably one of the best cuts there is, can't beat bone in.

Not a particular fan of steak but I put Jess’s beautiful stir fry on my dinner menu for next week because it just sounded soooo good.

Well there are different ways to define cooking: some people say you don’t need heat - essentially cooking is the preparation of food for eating. That means steak tartare counts because she cooked (seasoned, herbs, plating). Things like cerviche count too.
Jessi’s stir fry looked absolutely delicious and I will be cooking that VERY soon!! I love how they are able to share their recipes and processes😍😍 Ryan’s look amazing too with the sauce, I will cook mine more but overall it looked so amazing🤤 3rd is the other guy with the shrimp! His looked so freaking great, I loved the combo and I would like to try that as well with the butter sauce! The raw steak I will pass lol

Ryan killed it. That steak was cooked to perfection, even if I *personally* prefer a little more redness to mine. I feel bad for assuming that he was the one who made tartare.
How does Vicki win on a cooking show when she didn't so much as strike a match?
Steak tartare is the most involved of the preparation methods shown though. All the fat and silver skin has to be cut off in addition to cutting it into small pieces for easier chewing. The lack of cooking means if not prepared right it can be quite chewy.
Also the name of the video wasn't Chefs try each other's cooked steak dishes
She did supply acid which would denatured the Steak proteins, and the denatutization process is endothermic, so technically...

@@aisha6410 you can either pre-boil them, use canned baby potatoes (rinsed well) or, if you cook them low and slow, just start them raw.

I feel like the steak tartar was a little bit of a cop out since a key component of steak is, can you cook it right while still keeping the tenderness and the right texture. Not saying that what she cooked was not delicious, just not the same challenges the other contestants had to face

I can kinda understand Vikki and her comment on the doneness of Ryan's steak. I would never order a steak blue rare, and probably not as rare either, but i have eaten and would eat steak tartare again. Its two completely different dishes.
