For those of y'all wondering why Marquese did not try any of the meats, I met him at his food truck in LA (it's called OntheMenu if you're ever down town LA give it a try). He's a practicing Muslim and was not told before the competition that he would be eating the other competitors food and thought it would be similar to the auditions with just judges. So when he was presented with the pork ribs he told the staff that he can't eat them, so they told him to make some excuses like "oh its undercooked" etc and try whatever he could that did not have pork, so you see him eat some beans that don’t have pork or lard. Also His ribs were cow ribs thats why they were so big

He didn't rate ribs 5/10... he said ribs were fire but no baked beans which is half of what they were to bring. So basically 10/10 for the ribs but 0/10 for beans as they weren't there, which makes it 5/10.
