It’s so nice with chefs being polite but not rude to one another like how the home cooks usually are.

They were nice because they’re not chefs, but just home cooks.
Probably because it was all delicious

Chefs are sooo much nicer to each other than home cooks 🤣
Because they don’t need validation that their cooking is good, to them it’s just a good cook tasting another good cook’s food. The home cooks are insecure 🤣
Dude literally said he gave someone a 9 instead of a 10 because hes a c**_ but okei xD
I don't think chefs are much nicer to each other than home cooks. If you work in the industry or ask anybody who has worked in the industry, you will know there are all kinds of people in this world. The biggest difference between chefs and home cooks is that most of them have a bit more open minds to try other foods because that's how they test and evaluate their palates. Chefs don't eat fancy and good tasting food all the time, they try bad food as well. They need to know what they should put in their food and what they shouldn't.
Yeah, actually it doesnt makes sense because chefs have more experience, so they are more passive to being assholes, but it didnt happened here
Because they know the person who made each dish lol they don’t want to be rude to their friends

Tanika’s Ricotta Gnocchi Alla Vodka
GNOCCHI INGREDIENTS:
500 g ricotta cheese
280 g plain flour
2 eggs
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
SAUCE INGREDIENTS:
4 tbsp olive oil
1 onion, diced
3 cloves of garlic
140g tomato paste (double concentrated)
1/2 cup of vodka
1/2 cup grated pecorino cheese
2/3 cup cream
1 tsp chilli flakes - optional
3 tbs hot water
GARNISH:
1/2 cup grated pecorino cheese
1/2 cup basil leaves
METHOD:
1. To prepare your ricotta, place a sieve over a bowl. Then place two layers of Muslin cloth over the sieve and add the ricotta. Allow the ricotta to drain for one hour. You can help it on its way by pressing it with the back of a spoon intermittently.
2. Once the ricotta has drained, add it to a bowl and mix in the eggs, salt and pepper.
3. Then add gradually add the flour in until a rough dough forms. Place the dough onto a floured board and knead for a minute until the dough comes together. If the dough is sticky, add a little more flour.
4. Cut the dough into four pieces, then roll each piece into a long sausage shape. Cut each length of dough into 2cm gnocchi pieces. Roll each gnocchi over a floured gnocchi board or fork to create lines on the back. Place gnocchi onto a floured tray, cover with a tea towel and set aside.
5. To make the tomato vodka sauce, place a pan over medium heat, and add the olive oil and onion. Cook the onion until soft and translucent, then add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
6. Add in the tomato paste and cook for another few minutes until lightly brown on the bottom of the pan.
7. Pour in the vodka to deglaze the pan, and stir through.
8. Turn the burner down to the lowest setting. Add your cream and hot water to a small bowl and mix together. Then slowly pour your cream into the pan, stirring constantly. This will ensure the cream doesn’t split.
9. Turn off heat and stir through the grated pecorino. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
10. Place a large pot filled with water over high heat and bring to the boil.
11. Place your gnocchi into the boiling water to cook. Once the gnocchi float to the surface, they are ready. Remove them from the pot and drain in a colander.
12. Spoon your gnocchi into the sauce and stir until each gnocchi is coated with sauce.
13. Spoon gnocchi into your serving bowls and top with basil leaves and extra grated pecorino.
14. Enjoy!
Thank you ❤️

Easy feta pasta bake
Prep Time 5 mins, Cook Time25 mins Servings: 4
Here's how to make that viral tiktok trend, throw your own spin on this viral hit.
Ingredients:
500 g ripe cherry tomatoes
8 garlic cloves
180 g block of feta cheese
400 g short pasta (I've used orecchiette)
¼ cup extra virgin olive oil (with some extra)
1 tsp dried oregano
Big handful of fresh basil leaves
Salt and pepper to taste
Bacon cubes
Method:
Crank that oven to 200°C, Chuck in the Bacon, cherry tomatoes and garlic cloves whole in an oven dish, Season with salt and pepper along with oregano and pour over the olive oil. Get in with your hand and give the ingredients a nice coat of the flavours.
Place the block of feta cheese in the middle of the dish and move all the tomatoes around it. Add a sprinkle more of oregano and a drizzle of olive oil to the feta before placing into the oven.
Bake for 25 - 30 minutes until the tomatoes have blistered and feta cheese has softened
When tomatoes have 10 minutes left on the cooking time, start to cook the pasta in heavily salted water. As always, don’t forget to save some pasta water on the side.
Pull the dish out of the oven and gently peel garlic cloves from their skin and using a fork, mash the garlic cloves in the same oven tray. Be careful they will be hot.
Give it all a mix together breaking up the feta cheese. It will become a nice and creamy sauce-like consistency, Throw in the cooked pasta straight from the pot into the dish along with the basil leaves. I like to leave mine whole but you can also break them up with your fingers. Mix together, and if needed, add a splash of the pasta water to help it come together. I topped mine with grated parmesan cheese.
Dig in and enjoy your creamy, salty & sweet pasta! #madfeedz

Creamy Truffle Cavatelli Recipe
serves 4-6 people
PASTA DOUGH
500g semolina flour
300ml- 320ml room temperature water
TRUFFLE CREAMY SAUCE
120g unsalted butter
1 cup truffle cheese, grated
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cracked pepper
2 tablespoon pasta water
2 egg yolks
1 cup thickened cream
METHOD:
1. Place flour and water in a large mixing bowl, using your hands to combine the flour and water together. Knead the dough for 10 minutes or until the pasta dough is smooth. Rest the dough in the bowl, covered with a tea towel while you make the truffle sauce.
2. Using a gnocchi board (this is what it's called if you want to purchase one, they cost around $3.50 in Australia), roll 1.5cm balls of dough and press along a floured gnocchi board to create ridges which will help catch the sauce.
3. Boil a large pot of water with 1 teaspoon of salt, drop cavatelli in the boiling water and cook until they float to the top. Use a slotted spoon to remove cavatelli from the pot.
4. To make the truffle sauce, melt the butter in a large frying pan over medium heat. Place truffle cheese, salt, pepper, yolks, pasta water and cream and whisk until the sauce is thick and lush.
5. Stir pasta through the truffle sauce and serve with freshly shaved truffle cheese.
6. ENJOY!
Thank you for this recipe!!!!

"Plenty of pecorino": proceeds to put 7 pieces of grated cheese on dish
Ryan is the only one who gives points honestly but Tanika deserves this win.
And Nathan was being overly critical here
This is the first time i saw the most honest and nicest people on these series
Breaking news: italy has just launched missiles towards australia, especially at ryan's place
Y'all were so nice throughout, even critiques given with kindness, so fun to watch!
Also, All Hail Her Royal Sauciness, Queen Zeta (Hail, Zeta!)
I love it when the players aren't afraid to give an honest 10 to the competition. True sportsmanship👍
The girl in the green plaid was so sweet and positive, more people should be like her
Trend holds true here. The worse the chef, the more critical/harsh of everyone else they are. Nathan uses store bought pasta (nothing wrong with that when you're cooking for yourself but you're in a competition mate), then chastises other people for making it. Also criticises other people for vague sauce complaints/creativity when he literally just plagiarised some meh recipe he found on tik-tok the day of competition.
I agree with every bit of this, plus he even said how great it was, but totally underscore it. On another dish, he moans about sauce to pasta ratio; yet his barely had anything.
I know he's not outright rude - which is refreshing in this kinda video - but maybe a little self-reflection
I agree, he talked all that mess and decided to bring a tiktok pasta dish to the table. He should enroll in clown university
Exactly what. I thought
i agree! and his pasta looked the driest out of everyones
Gordon Ramsay is the harshest critic going - so you are saying he’s the worst chef in the world? 🤨 not really an accurate statement. Some people just have different or stronger opinions
The only way this episode could have been better, is if you had Zeta critique all the dishes as well.
i hope this is a joke lmao
I love how they all were so open minded to each pasta dish and were honest and nice instead of being disrespectful and not trying it
Orange shirt guy needs his own show 🤣 his personality just gets me
They were all so positive; its so refreshing to just see people VIBE!
Love how they all give different pasta dishes from different areas. Good variety!
The chefs are so respectful towards each other's cooking! I love this!
These are high level chefs, LVL 80 at least
i love how they aren't just straight up rude and actually give tips on how to improve their recipes :)
This is honest scoring, not the usual 'I actually like it but I won't rate it more than 6' kinda scoring
literally the best vibe here, very positive I love it
Nathan made ordinary run of the mill tik tok pasta which hardly had any sauce yet he said when tasting Tanikas which had loads of sauce that there was not enough as he likes his pasta with alot more sauce??? Yet his was the only one that hardly had any sauce???🤦🏼♀️👎🏼
There’s such a stark contrast between the chef reactions and those of regular contestants; even when they’re being critical of a dish, the chefs still manage to be respectful, whereas the regular cooks purposefully bash the other dishes to help themselves win

“Why is my pasta the best? Cause I fucking made it”🤣😭😭😭😭love himm
The one dude added cheese to his Bechamel so he's actually adding the Pesto to a Mornay.
7:31 I love how this video is australian talking about italian food and this is written in french 😂. Anyway, as an Italian, I managed to survive some things in here 😂. Very, veryyyy important tip: salt the water before putting the pasta in, do NOT salt when the dish is ready. It is going to be irregular with some parts with more salt then others. Instead, if you salt the water the salt is going to melt and will be absorbed by the pasta together with the water while cooking, so you get a perfectly salted pasta
They all looked amazing! I adore pesto, and making it creamy is amazing. I love Nathans attitiude and passion, The way they made pasta from scratch, wow! I don't think there was anything wrong i could say, the chefs were even nice and not trying to lowball like others. This is probably my favorite of these videos now, and i have saved it so i can make some of these!
I love that they are super respectful

ITALIAN PRO-TIP here: put half a tea spoon of sugar in your tomato sauce to cut off the acidity. Bonus: A L W A Y S put salt in boiling water before adding the pasta and not afterwards.
Quanto fa schifo sta roba
Bonus: don cook this shit porcodio
GRAZIE
Being Italian doesn't make you a pro. That's not a pro tip, that belongs in the realm of putting oil in your boiling water to "prevent pasta from sticking".
@@vespasiancloscan7077 actually no! Putting oil in the boiling water = wasting good oil. Putting some sugar in the tomato sauce balances out the acidity, bringing up the umami taste of tomato. Keep your wrong opinions for yourself, since my original comment wasn't made to criticise their try of making innovative pasta recipies. I was just giving advice.

I wish people would stop saying the Italian way is the best way to do it. They invented it, sure, doesn't mean they're the best at it. The first airplane sure as hell wasn't better than modern airplanes. I've eaten Italian food in many places (including Italy of course) and I don't think the one in Italy was better.
